With their Shimano promotional discount SAVEONSHIMANO, Bikeparts recently won my shopping cart competition against a well known Shimano B2B supplier, and their free shipping was 48hr tracked. What's not to like? (They do need to address the glitch in the BP loyalty scheme on the website though!)

I have used this online service before and it is amazing how far booking a Greek ferry has come since I first visited Piraeus in 1985 (Drachma/confusion & paying by cash - a total nightmare!) and yet... something about the certainty of the smooth booking process is really reassuring when you're no longer a young person? Like everyone and their dog, Openferry now have an App that means that you don't have to stress about picking up your prebooked ticket at Piraeus Port either. I fell for the 'too good to be true' offer for Birkenstocks "Arizona Suede Leather Sandals in Mink" I called the "Disputes Team" at my Bank and they gave me some good advice. If the goods are received within 30 days from the date of the order and are suspected to be counterfeit goods, then I will have this suspicion confirmed (in writing) by either Birkenstock or a Birkenstock reseller as evidence of fraud. Alternatively, If the goods do not arrive within 30 days, then under UK law that is considered fraud "Goods and Services not received" Either way I will not loose £54.95 to Kibertan.com

This is my fourth review for Bikeparts.co.uk, who have emerged ahead of their competition as my go-to place online to buy the parts I need to complete my own services on customer's bikes at iLovesMyBike in Bristol.
There's a lot of choice with a large inventory and the website customer experience is well designed, offering efficient order fulfilment and tracking details to show progress through the whole end-to-end customer journey. I rely on Bikeparts to deliver, and they do, every time.

I used two tablets per water bottle, rode hard in the Quantocks for almost 3hrs and I didn't get cramps in my legs like I used to before using electrolytes, such as High 5. Will use again without hesitation on long rides/hot days this Summer.

Bikeparts have upped their game recently by using Amazon as a delivery partner. When I cannot find what I need (trade) I order on Bikeparts.co.uk because they have a large inventory and I know I can count on them when I need a part for a customer's bike at a good price.
Our customer/supplier relationship goes all the way back to 2007, when I built my first mountain bike and they were only known as "the Woolly Hat Shop" - selling bike parts on eBay. They are now a recommended supplier to iLovesMyBike.

During the UX journey through the booking a consignment service, two fields require contact details of both sender and recipient (or email). How does the user know which mobile number format is correct to allow progress onto the next page? There's no help button. The correct format has to be arrived at by trial and error. After some desktop research I found it to be +44(0)7xx xxx xxxx

Rebecca prioritised my order delivery when the estimated despatch date came and went with no update received from Rutland Cycling. Great service recovery once I contacted Customer Services, but going forward the Service Design needs to better understand the Customer Journey to provide the best Customer Experience.

I was very impressed with Linktree Customer Service, when something I wasn't expecting happened. It's a great digital product and would recommend everyone consolidates their Social Media on Linktree!

I ordered a couple of SRAM 7-speed 32T cassettes. The price was competitive but what I really valued was the speed of despatch because as a bike mechanic I had a couple of bikes booked in for a service that I had earmarked the cassettes for. I would search Tweeks Cycles in future, as they’ve proven to be a reliable supplier of bicycle consumables.

Saint John's Street Cycles has a large inventory of useful parts and spares, some of which are hard to obtain elsewhere. Their pricing is competitive and they are not slack about sending your order out either. I would highly recommend their service!

I like doing business with St John's Street Cycles. They are reliable and reasonable. If I was to offer any suggestions on ways to improve I think the online experience the SJS Cycles website doesn't allow the Customer the control that it should. Because Customers change their minds, Customers want to add things to orders they have already placed. The online system does not support the customer in their indecision. I recommend SJS Cycles benchmark the e-commerce experience against their competition.
