After some brief issues with changing my email address, and moving accounts, the Linktree team sorted it out with efficiency and speed.

I have found Linktree to be a very useful tool for keeping all of my important links in one place. It makes it much easier to share my website, social media, booking links, and other content without having to send people in multiple directions. I like that it is simple to set up, easy to update, and clear for visitors to use. It has been a practical way to create one central place people can go to learn more about me and what I offer.

Little more than a scam.

They sent a very sly notification in December 2025 to inform that their prices would be going up. As if they wanted that one email to go under the radar...

Since then I had no notification that they were about to take my money or renew my subscription. Unlike every other subscription service I've ever used, they don't send any cordial reminders that you're about to renew and have money taken out of your account. I can't believe that this is legal.

Of course, they then have a clause that in some exceptional circumstances they give refunds if within a 72 hour grace period. Which, of course, is entirely useless if you have had no reminder whatsoever that they're about to take the money or that your subscription is set to renew.

This is what happened to me. They took £78 out of my account without notification that my subscription was due to renew, so I had no idea until I checked with PayPal to see what that payment was for.

I know that we should all take some responsibility, but with how many subscriptions most people have it's easy to lose track. Which is where reminder emails are so helpful.

I've reached out to their "customer service". Who have bounced me around, called me the wrong name, fobbed me off repeatedly with the 72 hour notification period. I asked them if they had the grace to give me a 72 hour notification period to consent to the higher charges and continued subscription and they didn't have anything to say.

Avoid signing up. They clearly want your details so that they can sneakily take money without you realising.

A 72 hour period to take it up with them is ridiculous. Why not a calendar month? Because they want to steal your money, and they don't care.

All this for a very basic service. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid, avoid. Pay for your own website from a professional, don't fall for this blatant scam.

I won't be having anything to do with them again and will advise everywhere else to avoid.

If you paid through Paypal and have been going through this issue with Linktree, I'd highly recommend opening a case with Paypal. They were able to review in my favour and refund me the subscription amount. At least some people have principles, Linktree doesn't!

Loved using my Link Tree account to put out my socials a couple years ago for all of my friends for my new phone. since i deleted the app, i wanted my information gone and my profile deleted. I promptly emailed Link Tree’s support team and they were kind and very efficient with their responses. My account was deleted within two days. Thanks for the good time and the help!

They stole 144 dollars from their subscriptions when I had cancel it weeks before in they still charged me for absolutely no reason very bad website don’t vist or they will steal from you aswell

I am a creator from Saudi Arabia and I noticed that selling digital products is not enabled in Saudi Arabia on Linktree.

Saudi Arabia has a huge digital economy and many creators want to sell courses, ebooks and digital products through Linktree.

It is very disappointing that this feature is not available in Saudi Arabia while the country has modern regulations and a large creator market.

I hope Linktree reviews this restriction and enables selling features for Saudi users.

Linktree is a company that will not help you if you request a solution. If you encounter problems, please contact the data protection commission.

I was up and running on Linktree very fast. They answer your questions and tell you step by step how to set up everything if you ask. Now I have all my Social connected. Highly recommend

Just notice my annual renewal had gone from £24 to £78 a year, no advanced notice, nothing from them to indicate my subscription was up for renewal, secretly stealing money. Noticed on my bank statement and checked my profile only to see i was sub’d to pro plan that’s now £78 annually. Desperate scammy behavior from Linktree. AVOID
