Unbelievable experience

This safari was a trip of a lifetime. Aly was incredibly hands on and adaptable to whatever our evolving needs were. We also LOVED our driver Priscus - he was super kind, knowledgeable and fun. Couldn't recommend this further - we felt safe the whole time and will be sharing our stories and pictures with friends for a long time!

The Brilliant Africa Team was truly BRILLIANT! From the very beginning I felt like Tracy was really listening to what I wanted to get from our trip to Africa. She nailed all the details on the first go. Working with Aly to solidify all of the documents we needed was a dream. She was there to walk me through anything I needed. It was absolutely seem less! The drivers were amazing, the places we stayed were exactly what I asked for!!! I will definitely be using Brilliant Africa again!

Tracy and Alyson did a fantastic job planning our honeymoon to Tanzania and Zanzibar. They were able to help us accomplish seeing 4 of the Big 5, plus much more, from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater and everything in between. We then ended our holiday with a relaxing private island beach resort.
Their help and attention to detail was wonderful.
We felt like VIPs in the airport and at the lodges thanks to them.
We could never have planned something so wonderful on our own.

The trip that Brilliant Africa put together for us was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Every logistic was meticulously designed and the coordination on the ground in Africa worked seamlessly. The staff at Brilliant Africa at such complete knowledge of the countries and the experiences, and they also took time to listen to our unique desires and craft an individualized tour that was PERFECT! From start to finish - the goals of our trip were heard and exceeded. Tracy and Alyson gave us all the time we needed in calls and emails to ensure we understood the whole plan, all the options, the budget and every last detail. We were a group of 16 and they worked with us and all of our guests painstakingly and with so much patience! We will be recommending Brilliant Africa to everyone we know!

Brilliant Africa planned an amazing custom 12 day trip for our family to Tanzania and Rwanda. Tracey, Aly and the entire team were incredible from beginning to end and tailored our trip perfectly to what we wanted to see and do, including our last minute additions. The planning was impeccable as we were close to the animals and in the center of the Great Migration in Tanzania. Their local partners were excellent and we loved all of the lodges and camps! Leonardo and the staff at Togoro Plains were some of our favorites! Their partners is Rwanada were also incredible and we loved Five Volcanoes for our gorilla trekking. We had amazing guides in both countries who made our trip seamless and taught us so much! Thank you for a memorable trip as the memories will last a lifetime. Highly recommend.

Alyson at Brilliant Africa took wonderful care of us! Her communication was always prompt and friendly. She put together a beautiful adventure for us! Everything worked out beautifully, all the travel connections, all the reservations, all the people involved, everything. All the staff at every location always knew our names and constantly asked if there was anything they could do for us or bring us. I think between the two of us we took over 500 photos and video that we’ve starting pouring over. I really felt taken care of from the moment we landed till the moment we took off which was exactly what I wanted for us. We will remember this trip for the rest of our lives.

We recently returned from the greatest trip of our lives. My biggest dream was to see the gorillas in Uganda. Two week trip that incorporated stays at Arusha Coffee Lodge, Namali, Gibb's Farm, Sanctuary, Cape Town and Babylonstoren - excellent guides, transfers, staff, food and facilities.

I had an outstanding experience with Brilliant Africa! From the start, they truly listened to my needs and hopes for the trip with a personalized approach and active communication that went far beyond that I experienced from other companies when conducting my research and vetting agencies. We had the most incredible honeymoon in Tanzania through Brilliant Africa! From start to finish, every detail was flawless. The accommodations were luxurious yet immersed in nature. Our safari guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured we had an unforgettable experience. We saw the Big Five and so much more, and every moment was filled with excitement. After the excitement of the safari, we flew to Zanzibar, where we relaxed at a beautiful resort right on a gorgeous beach with white sand and crystal clear water. If you're looking for a trip that combines adventure, wildlife, and relaxation, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!!

Right off - we're from America and had a little trouble finding a company that could help us plan our dream trip to Africa. We stumbled upon Brilliant Africa and were instantly impressed. They communicated quickly and asked all the right questions. I had very specific locations in mind and where all the other agencies tried to push us into a "package trip" Brilliant Africa customized for us. They understood what kind of travelers we are, found the perfect locations, recommended resorts that exceeded our expectations, and checked on us frequently. Our resorts felt special, little secret gems tucked away from the hustle and bustle, every detail more incredible than the next. Elephants walking through camp, freshly cooked omelets in a field of zebras, sundown with wine and a cheetah. All without that crush of people, just us and our guide. Total MAGIC. If you are looking for something special, I would highly recommend Brilliant Africa - a 5 star company that offers genuinely 5 star service.

The team at Brilliant Africa came up with the most spectacular Kili trek and safari while sticking to our budget and being transparent. Aly and Tracy were incredible to work with, always attentive, and responded to our inquiries swiftly. We loved our experiences with all their partners, particularly with Nature Discovery Tanzania while doing the Kili trek. All the guides, staff, and porters with Nature Discovery made this a once-in-a-lifetime and also life changing experience for us and left us feeling so much gratitude and humility. After hiking for 7 days on the mountain we were lucky to be treated with such luxurious accommodations and saw every animal in Ngorongoro Crater and in the Serengeti. Thank you Brilliant Africa for providing us with memories that will last forever.

Brilliant Africa went above and beyond for our honeymoon. They listened to our wants and needs and created a customized itinerary that addressed all of them. They communicated in advance, during, and after the trip to make sure we were comfortable. Truly the trip of a lifetime and could not imagine doing it without Brilliant Africa!

Our trip was extremely well organized from start to finish. The guides were knowledgeable and experienced.The lodges and staff were professional. The people of Tanzania are lovely and gracious. Of course, the wide variety of animals we saw was extraordinary.

Well what can we say, it was wonderful.
Everything worked like clockwork, the staff were wonderful, the lodges were spot on, we were looked after very very very well.
The game drives could not have gone better, we saw everything we expected and more.

Brilliant Africa arranged a Safari for us in Tanzania and Kenya, for September & October 2024. With one minor exception, the four camps were wonderful. The one issue was that one of us has mobility issues and the tented lodge at Ormatai Rocks was difficult to access due to an incomplete trail from the main lodge to our lodge. However, the tented camps at Sanctuary Ngorongoro, at Mara River & Porini Lion Camp were absolutely wonderful with no issues whatever. The staff and the food at all four camps were wonderful. I have absolutely no problem recommending Brilliant Africa to arrange Safaris for anyone applying to experience Africa and all of its wildlife.
