Jonty created an excellent itinerary for our trip to Hong Kong and Australia. The travel arrangements were seamless and the choice of hotels excellent. Our drivers and tour operators were reliable and informative and we enjoyed all the excursions. Jonty was a delight to liaise with and we would strongly recommend Turquoise to everybody.

Turquoise arranged a magical trip to the Maldives for a special occasion. On their recommendation we chose resorts that offered unrivalled scuba diving experiences and we enjoyed moving from one sister resort to another halfway through, this suited us well. Our return journey was hugely disrupted by the outbreak of war in the Gulf and Turquoise could not have done more in terms of getting us home safely on alternative flights. We hugely appreciated their efforts

Unfortunately I was affected by the closure of Qatar, due to the war, which meant that I could not spend the 3 days in Doha, which were booked and paid for.
Turquoise Holidays performed miracles to get me direct flights to Male, so that my holiday to The Maldives could go ahead as planned.

We had a fabulous holiday so thank you for all yr recommendations and help.
Some thoughts - hope this may help with future clients
Hilton Barbados- v good location on the beach, ok for over night stop but v tired hotel
Bequia Beach Hotel - the setting is lovely. Reception is fab !! Loved the interior and all the wonderful fittings and collection of things.
Beach front suite was fabulous and def worth it. Some rooms not suitable for anyone with mobility probs - so many steps !
Interior of room was a v high standard. Bed and chairs were very comfy. Great to have a large balcony with comfy outdoor seating. Plenty of storage space, mini bar etc. Cleaning was excellent. On my birthday the room was decorated Inc fresh flowers- a surprise and so lovely!
It was very windy all the time so we didn’t sit on the beach. The sunbeds on the beach did look a bit worn but supposed they are exposed to the elements! The main pool was lovely. I swam before breakfast every day - usually with the guy cleaning the pool! Although people did put towels on beds there was usually aways somewhere to sit
Only on a couple of days we had pool service - would have expected this to be more efficient
Sometimes glasses were left on tables ( not good )
Pool towels were sometimes stained ( again not good )
Food - breakfast needs more variety. Eggs freshly cooked& served to the table
Lunch - no variety to menu so could become boring if u ate here every day
Dinner - v large portions! Different menu each eve ( then repeated in 2nd week) quality did vary. If we as not been on AI did think it was quite expensive
Service - generally good however there were some staff who appeared more off hand
Keith arranged a private meal in the gardens for my birthday. This was super and felt v special. Staff went above board to make the eve special
Kate ( the manager ) is always present. She makes u feel v welcome and obviously enjoys her job !
Sand bar - 500 m down the beach. Lovely vibe, good cocktails & food at lunchtime. Service was good here
Jacks Bar - loved it here. Sea is calm so good to swim in sea. Excellent cocktails & food.? V slow service though. Shuttle provided daily. Can get v busy though and not a lot of umbrellas for shade.
Gardens - v well maintained. Some lovely trees shrubs & flowers
Spa - excellent treatment but no offer of relaxation after
Trips - we did a day sail ( on the kat ) to mystique - this was expensive but really enjoyed it. Sea amazing to swim in
Taxi ( jeep ) tour of island 3hrs - good to see the island & learn all about life in Bequia
It’s a v sociable hotel and people were v chatty
Nice to enjoy a drink with
We met 2 of yr clients - Rebecca & her daughter-they were lovely !
The hotel appears to get a lot of return guests
The island is v hilly and roads not good which we didn’t expect. This made walking quite difficult. The hotel organises taxis to take u anywhere which was good and efficient, but apart from beach walking anything else was limited
Overall it’s a beautiful island and not spoilt
You said it was like the Carribean years ago and would agree!!!
Would we go back? No but only because we have other places we want to visit !

Great service throughout our holiday from getting us a great deal to managing all our travel requirements.

All the many trips that we have booked with Turquoise both to the Maldives and on East African safaris have been from booking, flights and holiday experiences first class. Their knowledge, advice, attention to detail and personal contact gives a wrap around feeling of confidence which, as season travellers we find indispensable.
However it was on our last visit to Baros Maldives when the true value of this family run company came to the fore and saved my wife and I from what could have been a harrowing situation.
We were due to fly home via Dubai the day after the Middle East conflict started and were consequently stranded on the island with no knowledge for how long, eventually four days.
Long story short, one of the Turquoise owner directors contacted and negotiated with the islands management everyday to reassure us that we could retain our accommodation and full island privileges, then through daily telephone conversations again reassured us she was doing her utmost to find flights home, which unlike many of our fellow stranded holiday makers who’s agents were struggling she succeeded.
Dubai airport was packed and in chaos, and amidst the throngs and with personal mobile telephone alerts of incoming missile she again reassured us that boarding cards had been issued and helped us locate and take possession and hence fly home successfully.

I have nothing but thanks and gratitude to Turquoise and will undoubtedly remain a loyal customer.

This was the second time we booked a holiday with Turquoise Holidays and as before, we weren't disappointed.
We felt very confident in making our booking to Mauritius again with Turquoise - from the booking procedure, the resort and type of accommodation we wanted, to the flight, the transfer to our resort on arrival and the welcome on arrival at the airport, we felt looked after all the way.

Our booking rep again at Turquoise was Sophie, who was so supportive, professional, friendly and helpful in making our holiday booking and travel as trouble free as possible.

Laamu - Six Seasons was everyhting we could have hoped for along with very smiley and helpful staff, a good range of activies and an excellent wellness centre plus terrific snorkelling and back to back sunshine. Stuart at Turquoise helped us create a trip around the world with stops at Perth, Rottnest Island, Margaret River, Waiheke Island, Auckland, Rarotonga, Moorea and San Francisco. It all ran like clockwork and the hotels, transfers and experiences were all amazing.
I even got to have 2 birthdays when we crossed the dateline in the south pacific.

All issues related to travel and holidays structuring were smoothly and perfectly settled with embraced pleasure. Whole process of journey organization and coordination was harmonized with personal touch of professionals involved.

Velassaru is just a great place to chill out with friends. There were a couple of hiccups on arrival but nothing to do with Turquoise- Mandy was very good at booking the holiday that we wanted and at a price which wasn’t too eye-watering.

As usual, my husband and I left the planning of our South Vietnam holiday part 2 to very last-minute.com. However, the lovely Anthony De Liseo put together a wonderful program in a very short space of time - he truly is a gem. A big thank you must also go to all the wonderful employees of Trails of Indochina ( not sure if that’s the correct name) - but Antony will know . All of them made sure our destination pickups and drops off on our various internal flights went without a hitch. Special mention to the lovely group that took us on an evening food tour by scooter which was such fun ( even in rush hour traffic) ! I can honestly say this trip has made us fall more deeply in love with the hospitality and culture of Vietnam. Well done Turquoise - another epic 2.5 week trip !
