Brilliant Africa helped me plan the trip.of a lifetime. From finding us the perfect guide to trekking with the gorillas, everything was wonderful. The hotels that were chosen were incredible and I can't even find words to say how spectacular all the experiences were I would highly recommend using this company to plan any tour.

They put together a top-notch trip with only 2 weeks notice. I had some moderate traveling issues in two cities that they took care of easily. The team is very responsive overall. Will be using them again.

The ladies that planned my trip are simply awesome! We were never left alone to fend for ourselves; the guides and drivers were always on time, dependable, and knowledgeable. Our accommodations were FABULOUS! The people on-site were warm, friendly, and so very kind; i enjoyed them all! They took very good care of us at all times; I cannot thank them enough. From beginning to end, this trip was simply perfect. I will forever remember every moment and interaction with joy.

Wow!! The care and attention that went into our holiday by Aly and Tracey was exceptional. We certainly had the best holiday with so many experiences, in addition to the park safaris which were amazing, we also had a bush walk, night game drives, sundowners and a town visit, all things carefully thought out by the team to make the holiday that extra bit special. The lodges were wonderful, both food and accommodation was great and the staff were so welcoming. Having breakfast watching zebras at the watering hole isn't something you see everyday. Our guide Said was fantastic, he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. We were lucky enough to see the big 5 as well as the ugly 5 with so many others.

Alyson & Tracy were amazing to work with and they planned an incredible vacation. Tracy really listened to what we were hoping to get out of the trip and the types of accomodation and experiences we were hoping to have and planned a perfect itinerary (with flexibility when we had suggestions).

We felt very prepared leading up to the trip with Aly providing a lot of helpful information on visas, vaccines, and packing. She was quite responsive and always very helpful.

Our trip itself was a dream. We were able to see 4 of the Big 5, a lioness on a successful hunt, and spent a few relaxing days in Zanzibar. All of the logistics and travel were handled smoothly and our guides were so knowledgable, helpful, and great to spend time with.

I can't say enough about how Brilliant Africa made our time in Kenya trouble-free. We had no trouble connecting flights; there were people assigned to meet us at the airport to take us to our camp, and everyone was so friendly. The safaris (Amboseli and Masai Mara Reserves) were breathtaking with local guides sharing their knowledge about their land and the magnificent animals they share the land with. We were honored to be welcomed at a Maasai village where the people shared their way of life with us. The sunrise over the Kenyan plains was a spiritual moment that I will never forget. We concluded our trip relaxing at Chale Island, where the beach was so beautiful as we watched the tides rise and fall. I plan to visit the continent of Africa again, and when I do, I will book with Brilliant Africa. I already told my friends about them.

This was the most amazing company I've ever dealt with! And no I'm not kidding!!! I wanted the trip of a lifetime for me and my two kids to take a safari. I shared the things I wanted to do, see lions and giraffe and most importantly elephants, specifically to see the elephant I had adopted online, go horseback riding, relax, eat and experience the beauty and culture of Africa… And they fulfilled every single desire and then some! It was organized from start to finish. The website they put together for you is full of knowledge. They made every single step of the way easy... from every piece of paperwork that needed to be filled out to vaccinations to driver pick ups to what to wear and how to tip. The process was easy and organized. And more importantly, the adventures that we had, the people they connected us with, the places we stayed, the food we ate, the animals we saw, and the overall joy of being in Kenya can't be put into words! Every single person we worked with took care of us. This was the best trip I've ever taken in my entire life and I've been all over the world! We talk about it almost every day. I highly highly highly recommend this company and can't wait to do business with them again!!!!!!

From start to finish the service and professionalism of Brilliant Africa has been second to none and that is even before we arrived in Tanzania! The safari they put together for us resulted in us having the best holiday that we have ever had and we are of an age when we have had a few😁 I would not hesitate to highly recommend Brilliant Africa and the team that work with you to put your holiday together fantastic company!!

Tracy and Alyson created the ultimate "bucket list" trip for my wife and I to Tanzania/Zanzibar and our expectations were truly exceeded! The lodges/camps/inns we stayed at were exceptional, with first class accommodations, food and service. Our personal safari guide for the first 8 days through Tarangire and Ngorongoro parks, Daniel M., was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful person who's number one goal was to ensure we saw as much of the parks and wildlife as possible (including the elusive black rhino), without exhausting these sixty-something travelers. Our guide in the Serengeti, Alan, showed us so much incredible wildlife, including a Mara River wildebeest crossing (several thousand animals), leopards (2 sitings), lion (a group of 20-30 lions finishing an evening wildebeest meal. Our amazing trip concluded with a stay at the beautiful Bawe Island resort a few kilometers off Zanzibar. Ironically, this was the one place where our bathroom was outdoors (and unforgettably awesome)!

The trip that Brilliant Africa arranged for us had been living in my mind since I was a child. A very old travelogue show on B&W TV had fueled my interest many decades ago. Brilliant Africa did not disappoint. Our guides in both Tarangire and Serengeti were not only really knowledgeable, but they were able to spot animals that I couldn't see even through huge camera lenses (and then help to take those pictures too!) All the places we stayed at totally exceeded our expectations. The Retreat At Ngorongoro had the largest room I've ever stayed in. It had 2 King beds, a fireplace, 2 sitting areas, and a terrace! The grounds are also beautiful. Both tented camps we stayed at were also wonderfully equipped. Each place had staff that were so incredibly nice, they could not do enough for us. I would highly encourage anyone with a little lust for excitement to try a safari. But, do be aware (I didn't think about this beforehand) it is quite a bumpy ride and there are no bathrooms in the bush. Also, we were told it gets cold in the morning and evenings. We packed for that. For the folks who live there, the morning temps are cold. We are from a northern latitude, we definitely did not need the layers. It's all relative. That being said, do it! Go! you will not be disappointed. We saw more animals than I had even realized lived out there. I have amazing pictures that I will amaze (and probably bore) my friends with for years.

Brilliant Africa are as the name says...brilliant. The itinerary put together for my family was exceptional. Three very different camps in Northern Tanzania which gave us unique viewing opportunities. All transfers and arrangements went absolutely seamlessly. Cannot recommend them more highly.

We had an extraordinary trip thanks to the great work by Aly Morgan and Tracy Edwards in planning the trip and executing it to perfection. First, Tracy worked with me to identify our interests and develop a plan that allowed us to see and do everything we were interested in. Then Aly took over to work with me on the details, to patiently answer my enormous number of questions, and to constantly reassure me that everything would work out. Which it did! In particular, whenever someone was supposed to meet us, the person was always there waiting for us. The sights we saw were fabulous, including thousands of wildebeests crossing the Mara River as part of the Great Migration. Plus the food was great everywhere we stayed. I will recommend Brilliant Africa to any friends who are thinking about a trip to Africa.
