Best customer service I've ever dealt with.
I'm not saying EVGA's products are built well. I've purchased an EVGA Power supply and EVGA Graphics card in the past. The PSU broke after a year and a half, and the GPU was DOA.
Sure that sounds bad, so why am I giving 4 stars? Because I've never had better customer support than I have had with EVGA. I've never had any RMA go as smooth and fast as with EVGA, and any product I've received through their RMA system continues to work perfectly to this day. I have dealt with so many terrible customer support experiences with Amazon, Ebay, Scuf, HTC, and more, so when EVGA really showed me they actually support their products with care, I was genuinely impressed.
I was probably just unlucky with my original purchases. I will definitely be buying again from them in the future, knowing I can trust they will take care of my needs as a customer.
Not reliable at all
I have been building and servicing computers for about 30 years. About 3 years ago, I decided to give EVGA components a try, as I had never really used them, and their step up program looked enticing. Most of the items I have purchased from EVGA have either been defective out of the box, or failed within less than 2 years. Literally the only products bought from them that have not failed (yet) are 2 power supplies.
Defective LED cable on a case
Faulty fan on a CLC
2 failed GPUs...

I bought an EVGA GTX1080ti FTW3 off amazon awhile back. This GPU is a beast of a card and I could not be happier with its looks, its cooling capabilities and definitely its performance when overclocked.

I would recommend EVGA over anyone else, I bought a GTX 980 4GB years ago and it is still kicking butt in some newer games even though I have to start lowering my settings Ex: Anthem I can only play on Medium settings to keep my fps at 70+. never had any issues with my Graphics cards I even owned a GTX 750 Ti and a GTX 960 in the past never had any issues with those cards either. probably the best quality and performance cards I would recommend an EVGA card any day. if I could get sponsored by EVGA I would give a direct review not as good as JayzTwoCentz but I would be happy to support them any day.
Quick delivery, good customer service
I originally went to EVGA because of their 'step up' programme. I got a GTX 1080 video card around the same time as the RTX line was being released, so I wanted to be 'future proofed' when the new line came out. The 1080 arrived in the post and worked well for a couple of months, and when the time came I sent it back for the upgrade to the RTX 2080. I've had the 2080 in a couple of days and it's also working well for now. Both deliveries were prompt - I had a minor issue with the first one which the company were happy to work through, and the total time I was without a graphics card was a matter of days (less than a week) during the step up process.
I also bought a 650W power supply off of EVGA, and this is still working fine (with the rig now including the 2080).
Overall, I'd recommend them - reasonably good customer service for a company that doesn't trade out of the UK, good delivery times and the step up programme let me get the PC of my dreams without waiting for the new line of graphics cards to hit the shelves!
unwilling to work with customers.
I ordered a power supply on sale from there sight and after manual imputing my shipping address it pulled a out of date address from my paypal. when I contacted the company about putting a hold on the package so that I could pick it up. I was informed that that was impossible but I could have it recalled and reorder it. This came with a $15 restocking fee, begrudgingly I said ok. when I attempted to reorder they wouldn't honor the sale price anymore, so onto of the $15 restocking fee they wanted to charge me full price. Needless to say that was not going to happen. the $15 restocking fee is the last money that they will ever get from me.

Got an RMA number within 5 minutes of calling. They sent me a new power supply (and even gave me an upgrade!) that arrived 3 days later. And that was international shipping!
The call centre is in California, the agents are all very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. Their systems are fantastic, I didn't need to repeat my information 50 times every time I had to call in, they link everything to your phone number so the agent can see everything on their screen as soon as you call.
Just fantastic. I will make a concerted effort to buy EVGA products from now on,
A few months ago
A few months ago, I had an EVGA Titan Maxwell that completely died. The card was older and was very close to the end of its 3 year warranty. Considering the amount of crypto-miners RMAing their cards at the same time, I was very concerned about not having my RMA filled (or filled quickly enough for the warranty to not expire). Not only was this handled, it was handled incredibly quickly (less than a week total turnaround time) and I had a 1080 ti in its place (a completely satisfactory replacement). Thanks EVGA.
DO NOT HONOUR THEIR WARRANTY!
Bought a graphics card that came with an amazing 10 year warranty!
After 4 years the card completely packed in and even though I had registered the card and had proof of purchase, date it was bought etc. EVGA would not authorise an RMA.
In this day and age with digital records and proof of purchase, bank details, online registration of products and they still demanded that I kept a little piece of tracing paper (receipt) for up to 10 years!
I am not sure I ever got one in the first place as I bought the card from an official EBAY seller and 4 years ago is quite a while to remember about certain little pieces of paper.
Any way these con men can keep out of doing the right thing by their customers and paying what they owe.
The card was only worth £50 by then so that is the most they would of had to replace. I will never buy from EVGA again and have been buying all of my £400+ cards from GIGABYTE ever since.
I am pretty sure they would have made their money back 10 fold if they had just honoured their guarantee as I would have bought many cards from them throughout my lifetime.
They have absolutely no dignity and no business sense either it seems.
EVGA PSU damaged my Motherboards and their Cust Serv are no help.
I recently purchased all new parts for a build. Including an EVGA G3 850 PSU. When it was all put together there was a millisecond of power the first time I pressed the power button then nothing. After troubleshooting possible issues like shortages due to the case I assumed it was the motherboard that was the issue. I received a replacement motherboard and had the same issue of only a millisecond of power, then nothing. This time however I noticed a hot smell on the motherboard near the CPU power input. Regretfully I put the EVGA PSU into my working computer that this new build was replacing and it also shot on for a millisecond then nothing again and a hot smell in the same area. Putting my working PSU back in caused the system to start up without pressing the power button and they system started screaming. I took the EVGA PSU to my local computer repair store to test it and it did not pass. This PSU damaged all three of these motherboards, and could have damaged more that it was connected to; however I have no way of testing that yet because I have no working motherboard. My older PSU would not work on the new motherboards either after the EVGA one damaged them. I contacted EVGA about the issue over the phone, they instructed me to go online and register the PSU then file a ticket, instead of returning it to the retailer so that they could look at it to determine if it would have hurt other components. I jumped through those hoops with a barrowed laptop because my PCs are now damaged. All EVGA offered me from that process is an ability to send them the PSU back for replacement. Unlike what I originally was told on the phone they would not test it or be able to help me recoup any damage it caused to other components, components that it is meant to be used with. So no I’m out two motherboards, because one was replaced one no charge, and EVGA has encouraged me to send the damaged part(s) back to their individual manufacture(s) for their warranties to replace them. That process is so far 15-30 days for the motherboard. Then I will be able to see if any of the CPU, RAM, GPU, and SSD were damaged and if so I get to contact each of their manufactures and wait weeks or months for them to cover their products for damage, damage that was caused by this faulty power supply that they don’t make. Who knows how long and stressful this whole process will be. I am already over a month in of hassle when I should have been using my new build for that long. So thanks EVGA for making my new build an extremely stressful process and for not standing behind your product when it caused damage to others. If you do buy a PSU from EVGA please get it tested before you put it into your system. It may work with no problems but if it does anything like mine did you are in for a long, stressful, and costly process with no help from EVGA.
Bought an evga 850w P2 supernova 3…
Bought an evga 850w P2 supernova 3 years ago. Developed a fault on 5v rail only outputting 3.3v sent back to evga HQ in Preston (not germany thanks evga) within 12 hours of recieving they had issued me a return tracking number.
Delivery from ups seemed steady at best took 4 days to come back then when the parcel finally arrived I noticed it had come from Germany. Unboxed and inside was a brand new P2 1000w supernova.
Best RMA ever. Keep up the good work evga just wish they made and gpus
Top notch customer service and support
I have been using EVGA products for the past 10 years. In that time I have had to use their RMA process twice. First time was with an old GTX 260 216 core. The second time was a GTX 970. Products go bad and when they do warranty service is a must. These guys have always been very responsive and their customer service is top notch.
Each time I had to submit an RMA I just had to call them. They know who you are based on the phone number on file when you create an account. Wait times are next to nothing. I called at about 6PM on a weekday and was with a rep within about 2-3 minutes. Had an RMA in process in less than 5. It helps when the end user is also an IT professional by I digress. The RMA turn around time is your standard 7-14 business days. Nothing to knock here.
If you ever need to call them, never hesitate. These guys are awesome.
To be honest I've never had to deal …
To be honest I've never had to deal with them myself, but some of my friends had. I heard only good things about their customer service and quality - they send you a new GPU in advance so you wont have to wait God knows how long for a replacement.
