3080 nvidia card stopped working before the warranty thank goodnes!. 3 flashing lights on the video card made it mandatory card failure apparently and they did the RMA. I'm still waiting after about... Näytä lisää

Let me start by saying that I have been an EVGA fan for years. I have exclusively bought their graphics cards for at least 15 years. I know supply chain problems have caused a great many businesses trouble recently. However, after registering my newest card in their “reserve a place in line” website many months ago, I have received no contact so that I can purchase a new card. I will be evaluating other brands for my next purchase!
Abysmal customer service. How much do they pay the EVGA fanboys?
On 23/11/21, my faulty 3080ti ultra FTW GPU was sent to EVGA by Umart due to being faulty. I have not heard a thing since.
This surprises me because I’d always been told EVGA has great customer service (I had never used them before for PC parts). It was only when I made some more inquiries that I found out they’re quite well known for taking longer in the RMA process than other like companies.
So yeah, I’ve got a doorstop of a PC here I can’t use because of this. At this rate, I probably won’t have a resolution before Xmas.
30/12/21 - Still no resolution. Last update I got on 23/12 is that the faulty GPU is still being processed, and there’s likely a two week delay because of “the time of year”.
This is abysmal customer service. EVGA should be ashamed. It does not take up to six weeks to determine a GPU is faulty. I sincerely hope they aren’t being dodgy and waiting for refurbished stock to become available to send me instead.
They should just give me the credit I’m entitled to.
Absolutely disgusting service
I sent my brand new DOA faulty product to EVGA RMA department in Germany, as they do not have any repair centres in the UK, it cost me £60, to send, and I had a terrible time getting it there, when it finally arrived, they sent a replacement out a week later, good news so far, 10 days later, I find out it's stuck in customs, and I have written 8 times, asking for a commercial invoice, so I can obtain my parcel, no response, and if I can't get the invoice, it's going back to EVGA in Germany, and I am £1400 down, no product, nothing, absolutely disgusting service.
Awful customer support experience
Awful customer support experience. I have bought Pre-Built computer, which came with faulty EVGA RTX 3080 GPU. I have attempted to RMA GPU myself, even contacted seller to get a detail list of parts used including EVGA RTX 3080. However, they refused to accept RMA and forced me to waste time and money by sending graphics card to retailer, which is going to forward GPU to them.
Obviously, elephant in the room here should be poor quality of GPUs. Not impressed with this company at all.
Lastly, my GPU was with non LHR, let's see if they will send me proper one, or whether I`ll have to get a refund if they send me one from KL SKU.
Best Consistent Support
I've been a consistent EVGA customer since 2015. Their support rivals all other companies in the same bracket and I've always been taken care of.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Had a power supply that spontaneously combusted and had I not been home could have burned down the house. Tried to RMA and they blamed the user! What a joke of a company. Stay away!

Ma dai! Avevo la notifica da mesi per la prelazione all'acquisto della 3080ti. Mi arriva una mail in cui mi dicono di togliere le notifiche che non mi interessano, perché solo due per utente possono rimanere attive. Ne lascio due e loro mi disattivano anche l'unica che ha effettivamente qualche chance di farmi acquistare una scheda video! Ma dai! Ho chiamato l'assistenza ma ovviamente non possono fare nulla, EVGA fai prima a non vendere in Europa del tutto e basta

EVGA is absolutely the best USA supplier for computer hardware in every regard.
Not only do they make some of the best performing and most reliable hardware, but they do it while providing the absolute best customer server of any company in and out of their field of business.
Absolute no hesitation recommending their hardware over any other mfg to friends and family alike.
I dare other companies to do anywhere as good as EVGA does.

Opted for the "small deposit" where EVGA will send out a replacement and then you send them the defective item back, sounds great UNTILL.......
1) Send the item to Germany, Fully Insured and Tracked at a cost of £25+. EVGA do not bear the costs of returns even though their product is faulty......Why should the consumer have to pick this bill up?
2) The "Collateral Charge" they expected me to pay was £160, which would be totally acceptable if it was an expensive item, but for an item I originally paid £40 for ????
In the end they are refusing to change the RMA or to accept the RMA, Absolutely shocking Customer Service !

My queue time came up to order the EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 and the entire process went through great. Ordering was easy and Paypal went in too w/ free signature req. ( which is nice for $1500 video card )
The card was shipped and arrived by UPS way faster than I expected. The box was packed tight in an appropriate sized carton and arrived undamaged.

EVGA, un nome una garanzia, un marchio che ha un costo ma che vale tutto, leader assoluto negli alimentatori per pc non ha concorrenza, possiedo un evga g2 750 acquistato nel 2016, è ancora una bomba totale, 0 rumore e fa il suo lavoro al top mai avuto un problema.
Poor quality control
I received one of their 3080s as a replacement from the store I purchased my original card from. After a month the evga card died. They accepted the RMA but will not handle any shipping or custom fees. They also will not provided you with their company VAT number. Now the problem is not many places allow the sender to pay all fees and the ones that do require information like company VAT number. I eventually managed to get this done only to receive a DOA card. The card was missing it’s warranty sticker, the securing bolts on the back were loose and the anti static packaging was torn. So now I have to go through the headache of their RMA again paying all the fees again for their poor quality control. I should point out I was fine paying the fee the first time but due to a error the fee was not taken so they returned the card for me to send it again. Not even giving me the option to sort it. It be much easier if the my paid the fee even if they recouped the cost from you even though why should we have to pay more for their faulty product
CLC 240
I bought a clc 240 from EVGA in last December, in the last 8 months I have had no problems with the cooler. It is a very nice cooler in looks and in performance. recommend these products to others as well.

Woeful warranty service
Woeful warranty service. These guys have a terrible warranty process where you need to register with them, then register your product, then you need to upload your invoice (incidentally, if you bought the component as part of a complete PC, you need to somehow magically produce a separate invoice for that one, specific component in the computer assembly). Once you have done this, you'll need to pull the part out of your computer and read the serial number off it and let them know that (why wouldn't you put the serial number somewhere visible without uninstalling the component?).
Now it's time for you to make a video of the problem, but they have no system to upload this, so they'll ask you to post it on youtube. Then, once they review the video and clearly hear a fan noise issue, thay'll ask you to remove the part and shake it out to make sure there is no foriegn matter in the fan.
You will diligently jump through all of these hoops, becoming increasingly frustrated, only to be told that they cannot help you without an invoice. You have the option to remove the component and send it back to them.....but who knows what would happen next. You certainly won't have a working computer in the interim.
At all costs, stay away from these guys. Companies selling high quality computer components should be better than this. If a serial number is provided and you know that the part was manufactured 18 months ago and it comes with a 3 year warranty, just start the replacement process. I don't object to a company taking a deposit before sending you a replacement part and then crediting you when they get the faulty one back, but they shouldn't need to conduct a full cavity search, a credit check, phone your mother and interview all of your ex partners just to replace a power supply with a noisey fan.
They need to do better, and you can definietly buy better.

Years ago I bought an EVGA GTX-560Ti, which failed within days. EVGA did replace it and I had no further problems with it. This year, I bought a new computer, a pre-built system filled with EVGA products, plus EVGA keyboard and mouse. First thing to fail was the EVGA 750 watt PSU, it lasted only 16 days. Next were the fans in the EVGA CLC240 AIO, one simply stopped, the other gave off a foul, burning odor and started running rough after 3 months of use. The EVGA X17 mouse wheel also broke after 3 months of use. One thing breaking after just a short period of use could easily be bad luck, but 3 things breaking after 3 months? I cannot chalk that up to bad luck, but seems more like really poor quality. Just waiting for the coolant pump and RTX-3070-FTW3 video card to die. Initially, I was excited to have a computer built with everything but the RAM, motherboard, and case from EVGA, now I'm sorry to report the poor quality components they are producing.

I bought a 3060 graphics card from EVGA in April, in the last three months I have had no problems with the card. It is a very nice card in looks and in performance. I have very much loved my purchase and recommend these products to others as well.

Bait and switch scam artists
I bought an EVGA card to upgrade it via their Step Up program. I was confident this wouldn't be an error because I heard they had the best customer services. 9 months later and I've heard nothing about the new card, other than that they won't give me the one I have been waiting for, instead giving me a worse card for the same price. They have ignored my attempts to contact them and it's been very difficult to get hold of someone. I feel like they have scammed me and will avoid them like the plague in future.
