strongly advise against choosing Poly

Our entire call center (27 workstations) has been using the Plantronics W720 headset for over 10 years with excellent results. However, since upgrading to the new Poly Savi 8220, nothing seems to work properly.

Although these headsets are advertised as Teams-certified, the call accept button doesn’t function, and the Poly Lens software doesn’t even recognize the device. This makes it nearly impossible to work efficiently.

We are now actively looking for alternative headset solutions to replace all existing units in our office. Unfortunately, the customer service that once made Plantronics great has completely deteriorated - support is now outsourced, unhelpful, and often provides incorrect or confusing information.

In short: if you’re looking for a reliable, professional call center solution, we strongly advise against choosing Poly.

Garbage corporate products.

Never works, complete mess with drivers, bloated useless app that will start at boot even if you disable 'start at boot' in the app; the headset will reduce or increase volume on its own, without any input, then every 5 minutes it will randomly disconnect from the PC. Iit will not stop connecting to the phone if bt is on on. it. I never ask for this wireless BS. I am going to buy the hearbud with cable from Apple from 10 years ago, and it will be better at every single level. It s the 3rd headset I get for my job. Company buying this crap should save their money and let the employee buy 20 euroes earbuds that does not need pairing, does not nbeed battery, and just works.

Bad is understatement…

HP support for polycom is the worst of its kind. They never seem to digest or try to help with your issue and all they do is delay and come up with baseless responses even with evidence sent to them. Very disgusted with their service.

Geld weg en niets ontvangen

Ik ben zeer ontevreden over mijn ervaring met deze organisatie. De betaling verliep vlot, maar daarna ging alles mis. Volgens de trackinginformatie zou mijn jas op 8 maart zijn aangekomen, maar ik heb niets ontvangen. Tot mijn verbazing stond er ook dat het pakketje in Zulte was afgeleverd, terwijl ik in Aartselaar woon.

Ik heb de organisatie meerdere keren gemaild, maar ik kreeg geen enkele reactie. Mijn geld is weg en ik heb geen vergoeding of oplossing ontvangen. Deze organisatie is absoluut NIET te vertrouwen. Ik raad iedereen af om hier iets te bestellen!

I have Voyager Focus 2 Embarrassing…

I have Voyager Focus 2 Embarrassing product.
Noise reduction is ridiculous and they works few times, moreover their windows desktop app is not even able to run.
After two months I am done with Poly. If I knew they were Hp I wouldn't ever bought them.

I bought the plantronics Backbeat noise…

I bought the plantronics Backbeat noise canceling wireless from this company.
In 4 years I barely used the headset over 10
Times. It was stored in the bag supplied. After 4 years the leather is falling in pieces. I won’t recommend it.

Trying to buy, but no help

I called to get clarity on the headset with phone handset lifter... SO I COULD BUY ONE.. the CSR kept repeating "if you go to poly.com".. My response was "I am, where do I go for correct information?"..
If you can't even help me select the correct unit to purchase, I will look elsewhere to buy.. Ridiculous, I'm trying to spend money on your products..

TERRIBLE SUPPORT SERVICES - I have been a reseller for Polycom…

I have been a reseller for Polycom Audio and Video products for well over 20 years, when they were currently sold to other companies beginning in 2018 their channel sales and partner and most importantly end-user support is non existent. How can a company that sells mission critical commercial communications equipment that truly doesn't support us customers? What a shame to all who has engaged in purchasing their products and now suffer with support issues that are unsupported- all I can say is Poly go away and come back another day when you can respectively support the reseller channel and end-user community

Terrible product quality

Terrible product quality. Even worse customer service. They're charging top of the line Bose and Sony noise canceling headset level prices with a fraction of the features and terrible hardware and software.

We had bought a headset through the…

We had bought a headset through the telecom company. After months of complaints that the headset was not working properly and after much searching, we were finally able to send an email to a person. The chat keeps running in circles. On the mail, we also keep getting a standard reply. After many e-mails, we finally received a return label to return the headset in warranty with the serial number (it was less than a year old).

We receive a headset with the wrong cable with the headset and they say we ordered the wrong headset and we have to order a new one.

Totally no service!!!!

If I can give zero star then I will

I spent hours registering a headset because their websites has lots of bugs and not user friendly.

Talked with someone on live chat. The person was very impatient by the way. I asked “Can I send it via post office?”
He replied: “Then I believe it will be paid yes you may choose any option to send it to us.”.

Then wasted time and went to a post office. I was told by a person at post office that i have to pay it myself. I was on the phone again and the guy was either pretending he didn’t understand that basic English in the chat scripts or he was playing dumb. Anyway, he told me that the other guy didn’t mean that the postage was free. And interpreted the scripts in a way that supported his point by cherry picking words and scentences. What he said on the phone was very ridiculous and quite stupid, but yet very interesting. It showed how far a person wanted to go to cover something.

Another point, why a bar code was printed and ask customers to paste the barcode to the package, if the customers need to pay it? Does it make people more confused?!

Anyway, I realised that I should not waste my time anymore.

The cost to post the item is not much but because of this incident I cannot trust what they say and I want to stay away from them. After the phone call with Poly, I don't have trust on them any more.

If you want to buy a product from them just because of the warranty? Then forget about it. Don’t waste your time and money.

Auricular de pesima calidad

Compre el auricular Plantronics C565, pero en menos de un año se ha roto la pieza de plastico que se inserta en los accesorios, simplemente cuando estaba colocando el accesorio almohadilla diadema grande, al insertarla y girarlo suavemente para anclarlo como había hecho varias veces antes. No esta cubierto por la garantía. Es inadmisible que un excelente auricular quede inservible por la pésima calidad de una pieza de plástico en menos de un año.

Never use again

I've purchased 2 of their cameras and tc8s. Received them and their website wouldn't recognise their own S/N, I've had a ticket with them for over two months now and still not resolved. Now they are expecting me to deal between them and the reseller instead of them going directly to their resellers. One of the latest emails I receive was to give them all my information again. Needless to say I don't hear from them for weeks at a time. Such a horrible experience!

Dodgy, aftersales service. This company should be investigator and it should be fined by the authorities.

This company is very untrustworthy.
This is how this company operates:

1. They close the warranty case in their system prematurely, even before the you receive your replacement unit.
2. They make you pay for the postage of sending the defective unit to them which is usually covered by the manufacturer.
3. They will not reply to your emails once they close the case.

Gutter Trash.

Der sidder en robot i kundeservice på dette site, og spytter automails retur på klager. På et tidspunkt har den ikke flere skabeloner at sende - og dér stopper al kommunikation. Så jeg kan kun sige: Spar din tid, acceptér dit tab og glem alt om Poly / Plantronics. Kvalitet og pris hænger IKKE sammen hér.

Garbage Support

Horrible customer service! I called and inquired which headset to use with my phone & bought the one they recommended. It was incompatible. Had to buy a 2nd which is not working properly. After an hour on the phone with the tech, we got disconnected and he did not call back. I ended up calling and they want me to start all over again. Seriously!? Huge waste of time and money. A headset should be a simple purchase. There are too many competitors to continue down this rabbit hole with garbage support. I'm done.

Avoid this disgusting company

Avoid this disgusting company. Purchased a used VVX411 and tried to factory reset it. Prior company had changed the passwords so only way to factory reset it was by rebooting the phone, cancelling the load, holding 1, 3 and 5, and then typing in the MAC address as the password. But the phone always said the password was invalid. Tried 6 times. Called up Poly and they couldn't find the serial number and said for further help I'd need to pay FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS for additional support. AWFUL. DO NOT BUY.
