Classic Mis-Selling
I bought a bicycle online with the understanding that it would include 'Free professional bike build worth £35'. However the store I bought it from did not have this facility. Had I known this I could have had it delivered to somewhere that I could have built it myself and not to a town centre store where I had no facility to get it somewhere else.

Pretty awful ordered a bike took months to come and broke down multiple delivery days where the bike was never delivered or collected. I ordered the bike in December it march and I’m on my second faulty bike. Customer service are nice but they don’t take any responsibility as the bike is through a third party on their site…..

Evri failed delivery
Unfortunately Evri failed to deliver on Wednesday 04/03/26. I received a message to say out for delivery and then to say the courier couldn’t and informed I’d get a message to say when it was out for delivery again.
I hadn’t received any info by Friday 06/03/26 so went to Evri help where I am forced to go through AI.
I am told they still have it and somebody will be in touch. Do I want phone or email contact. I chose email as I drive and don’t have handsfree.

Firstly I'm sorry we haven't delivered on time for you. I can see the reason for the delay is that the parcel missed the connection to the courier.
We are aiming to get your parcel back on track and delivered today.
I'll check first thing tomorrow that your parcel has been delivered. If it hasn't, I'll be in touch before 11am.
You don't need to do anything. I'll look after things from here. If you have any questions you can reply to this email & I'll be happy to help.
Don’t understand how it missed a connection when I had already received a message saying it was out for delivery.

This review refers to the order process, I have not yet received my item. Order process was OK - nothing more. Product range and prices were OK on the web pages. However my discount code from Cycling UK didnt work. Not sure if this was an issue with Cycling UK or with the Evans website, but an annoying waste of time (and extra cost) whichever way you look at it. Hence just the three stars.

Refused to cancel order literally 10 mins after making it and then took two weeks to ship it, had to turn away at the doorstep when the delivery guys drove 3 hours to drop off. Probably one of the worst bike companies you can buy from. Ordered pretty much same specs on Halfords yesterday afternoon and the mf bike is out for delivery for today, STAY AWAY FROM EVANS

I would strongly advise anyone to shop elsewhere and only use this company as an absolute last resort.
I ordered a bike for my daughter’s 3rd birthday well in advance so she would have it for her special day. Unfortunately, the bike was delayed by a month and never arrived in time, which meant my daughter didn’t have the birthday present she had been so excited for. As a parent, that was incredibly disappointing and upsetting to see, especially when this could have been avoided with better service and communication.
Trying to resolve the issue, I made a 166-mile round trip to the store, only to be told that my order had been cancelled for no reason and without anyone contacting me. I then reordered the same bike and was told it would take 3–10 days. Instead, I waited another three weeks before being told that the order had been cancelled again. Once again, no explanation was given.
At this point the bike is now over 10 weeks delayed, and after all that time I still don’t have the product I paid for. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of care shown by customer service. I explained that this was for my daughter’s birthday and that the delays had already ruined her special day, but there was absolutely no empathy or effort to help resolve the situation.
To make matters worse, I have now been told I must drive another 166-mile round trip just to get a refund, as they claim it cannot be processed over the phone. This will now be my third 166-mile journey because of mistakes entirely on their side.
Despite the bike being over 10 weeks delayed, the order being cancelled twice without explanation, and the disappointment caused to my daughter on her birthday, customer service stated that no compensation or gesture of goodwill will be offered. They simply did not seem to care.
This has been an extremely frustrating and upsetting experience, made worse by poor communication and a total lack of customer care. If you are buying something important for your child or for a special occasion, I strongly recommend avoiding this company and shopping somewhere else.

Don’t believe the sales they advertise
Ordered a bike, they took my money, priced matched at a store to their website. I didn’t order on the website because of all the bad reviews. So ordered from The Fort store, Glasgow. The guys at the store checked the stock, took the order and my money. Then within twenty four hours the order was cancelled and I was informed via email to tell me they didn’t have the bike in stock. I should mention the staff in the shop were friendly, when I returned to the store they initially could not refund my card. I waited for around thirty minutes and didn’t get my money refunded. The staff were very apologetic. I had to return later that day to have it credited back to my card and it finally took five days to receive the payment back to my account. As much as the staff were friendly and appeared to try their best to help me Evans Cycles is not a company I could recommend, including the stores. Why advertise apparently great deals that don’t exist?

A great process from start to finish. Buying the bike online was easy and efficient, I enjoyed the accurate and consistent communication of the delivery to store. The staff in Evans Cycles, Norwich, Westlegate Tower, in particular; Luke in the service department was attentive throughout my collection and knowledgeable and helpful in finding the correct gear (helmet, pedals, shoes and ride height). The process was enjoyable (as I would expect) and smooth. Looking forward to going back for my 30 day check up. Thank you Luke and thank you Evans Cycles!

I am not impressed and will not be using Evans again. If you look carefully through your systems you will see the numerous emails with your customer service. The lack of understanding around exchanging items and voucher etc is diabolical!

Ridley Griffn A Gravel bike
Arrived on time with DX couriers who were brilliant, well packaged and bike was set up to perfection. Only thing i had to do was put the handlebars in the correct position. Its the second bike ive bought off Evans cycles and i canrt recomend highly enough. Great price too, half price for a Ridley gravel bike, Awesome
