AVOID - no resolution three months on - £300 order

AVOID! I’ve had a three‑month ordeal with Evans Cycles after receiving the wrong bike before Christmas. Multiple failed collection attempts, no communication from the courier, and the complaint wasn’t properly logged despite repeated requests. Refunds were processed incorrectly - including onto a gift card that now doesn’t work.

Still no proper resolution and extremely poor customer service from multiple advisors. When visiting one of their brand partners (Sports Direct) the staff there laughed when I told them my experience and said 'yeah, that's Evans Cycles for you - they're terrible"

Would not recommend.

Easy and swift returns service

Recently ordered 3 items - keeping a jumpsuit and returning the other 2 items. The quality of the jumpsuit is lovely and even better that I bought it with 25% off in the sale! I was really impressed with how easy and quick the returns service was, keeping me informed and up to date along the way. All complete din 3 working days - thanks!

Tenth wedding anniversary in liverpool

Visited Sixbynico, Liverpool for out tenth wedding anniversary. The food and wine matching was lovely, and we received a complimentary glass of prosecco. The service from Stevie was delightful and he brought some humour to our experience, as well as recommending a fabulous cocktail bar nearby.

Our experience was only dampened by learning after our visit that the restaurant was only 3 star for hygiene. There really is no excuse for poor hygiene and so a 4 or 5 star should be standard.

However, a lovely meal and experience. Thank you.

They seek out claims and then don't inform you

After 7 years of insuring my car with Esure I have left their services.

Failed to notify me of a claim against my policy (despite me getting in touch to see if they had any contact from the third party). I have today been informed that nearly a year ago they reached out to the third party (after I notified Esure) and basically generated the claim! They didn't inform me - the policyholder - of any of this until I took out a new policy with another company and this claim came to light during checks. I called Esure and requested to receive information about the claim, and was told I'll need to wait 6 weeks as per policy (even though I requested the agent send me what information she can now, and then any data that needs redacting for GDPR at a later date). Also told will need to wait up to 10 working days for a Manager to call me back (I asked for her discretion in escalating this issue considering I had been given no information at all from Esure about the claim).

Shame they couldn't follow their policy of actually telling policyholders that they have contacted third party and invited the claim in the first place! Unbelievable. NO honesty or transparency in the handling of this issue.

And finally receive my proof of no claims letter which strangely hasn't increased since a year ago. CHECK THE DETAIL ON ANY RENEWAL DOCS/INFORMATION YOU GET FROM THEM!

Avoid Esure.
