My account was hacked and this company…
My account was hacked and this company allowed the hacker to go shopping with my stored CC's. My banks notified me, I denied the charges, but the fraudsters were ahead of the game. They canceled the orders less than 2 minutes after ordering, requested a store credit, which AT granted (instead of returning the funds to the CC), the fraudsters changed my passwords, shipped thousands of dollars of goods to two separate locations on the East Coast (I don't live anywhere close to the east coast). After getting the banks and police involved, I recovered my lost funds and after the fraudsters were done, I somehow regained access to my account. But all my information was wiped out. But my order history was there, including all of the fake orders, and the tracking history to Florida. After changing passwords, accounts and obtaining police reports, AT punishes me by canceling my latest legit order for 20 bucks (it was a test). I'm good with never doing business with them again. Shame, they have some decent products I could use for my truck. Oh well. They do not protect your stored data, so do NOT store your information on their site. My mistake learned the hard way. Lost customer for life.

I ordered a bed cover from American Trucks and they sent me one that was too wide.. once I got through their absolutely annoying AI system, I got they’re CS team to ship me a new one.. Problem was they sent the same one back.. Toook an entire month to get reimbursed between PayPal and pleading with American trucks to reimburse me.. I’ll be going to Rough Country or local dealer form now on ..one bright note is their Customer Suppott team was great.. Shipping and sales SUCKED!!!!!!?? Never again

We reviewed your order for the TruShield Velcro Roll-Up Tonneau Cover (19-26 Silverado/Sierra 1500 w/ 5.80-Foot Short Box) and when you received the item you shared with us that you received the wrong item. So a return for replacement was set up. With this type of return, we will send the same SKU that was initially ordered. With the replacement you should have received the roll up tonenau cover for a 5.8 foot short bed. We do apologize if the representative did not ask additional questions to confirm if this item should fit your vehicle.
When you set up a return for the replacement, you also filed a charge back for this order. When there is a chargeback placed on order, once the company you used for payment investigates the issue ,if they approve the refund, they would issue that to you, or they will deny the claim. Due to this chargeback on your account, we did not refund your original payment method as we had not received the resolution from your provider.
We do show that you cancelled the chargeback with your provider and a refund was issued to you on 9/28/2026.

Horrible shipping process.
Slow to ship. Parts arrive damaged then they take 7 business days to make a decision on if they will replace the part. This causes significant delays on getting your vehicle back on the road. I followed up with American Trucks with an email that I thought would give a fair resolution. It would have even saved them on shipping cost and waste but email went unanswered.

So I purchased 2 lower control arms…
So I purchased 2 lower control arms with ball joints for a base model 2wd 2000 Silverado from them. Not only do they just throw them in box with absolutely no packing material at all. they do not protect your ball joints studs. They're just being tossed around in there. So I dropped off a laundry list of stuff to my shop to get work done. well guess what the studs are no good they have to drill out the pressed in ball joints and put new ball joints in there. So now I have to spend over $400 in labor and parts to fix their POS part all because they refuse to protect their products with packing material....They're obviously hurting for money bad if they can't even afford to put bubble wrap or packing material.... just imagine what type of parts you're getting from them as well...straight snickle Fritz parts....go elsewhere unless you want to be in the same position. this isn't my first time having issue and obviously won't be my last so... ill wishes to this company... If you wanna mess up your truck or get stuck with their damaged part from piss poor practices in the warehouse order from them and throw away your sanity. This is your place!! There will be absolutely no packing material whatsoever. They just throw your heavy metal parts in a box with a bunch of airspace in there and we all know how these shipment companies do your parts.... Stay away you're better off ordering your parts from temu. It's that bad....Godspeed
They did give me $47.70 back ... Lol
So I spent "almost" $300 on their lower a arms and had to spend $400 to fix them.... But hey $47.70 seems fair....

Ordered almost $3,000 worth of parts…
Ordered almost $3,000 worth of parts from you on September 11th. Received the part I ordered last have yet to receive anything else. After 4 days of no communication with your company due to technical issues, finally spoke with a representative who did not give me any answers as to where my parts are. Will be calling again today and expect answers or this will be the last time I purchased from your company. Unacceptable!

Incorrect Item Description
Was difficult finding the specific product I was looking for because ultimately it was labeled incorrectly. Wrong description for what matched the correct manufacturer part number. Needless to say, fingers crossed that the correct product gets delivered.

Good and bad
I enjoy the website and the vast amount of product lines. Being able to view actual builds from others is great. Getting around and ordering etc is a breeze.
The issues for me are after ordering. I wish I had the option of carriers for deliveries. I was missing part from order and I quickly notified them and sent photos. I received order before they were aware of it shipping. Little over 15 days later and no replacement or updates. Told different things by different customer service agents. But one thing they all had in common was telling me to wait, wait. They were quick to offer replacement cost at store credit or lesser cash refund on missing part.

I received 4 boxes with same part…
I received 4 boxes with same part number. I opened one box and closed it up. Scheduled time at the tire store and had them mount my tires and new wheels i ordered from American trucks. The last box had completely the wrong wheel, wrong color and bolt pattern. For 10 days I was without my truck. They would not send me the right rim until i put the right box with wrong rim in mail. also they said most people have another vehicle. That statement was out of touch and here is a 20 coupon. 20 is not worth bumming rides for 10 days. Wont be using the coupon or buying anything from the store again.
