The staff and services from Outdoorhobbies, have been 1st class. I had lots of questions, which they answered over the phone. So much better to talk with someone and not rely on emails etc.
The Benjamin Airbow is brilliant. I had also ordered some other items, which I comply forgot about. But Outdoorhobbies kept their word and sent them in due course, without me having to reminding them. Sooooo much easier and better than amazon. I would recommend Outdoorhobbies to anyone.

I bought a Jandao Chace Star 150 from Gary a couple of years ago and this year a pair of spare limbs for it, for the price things were good value and prompt delivery. I have been impressed by their pricing and the speed of response to queries, delivery etc. a couple of weeks ago I bought a second hand Excalibur Phoenix through their website and was again pleased by opportunity that this avenue fulfils in making this purchase possible.

Ordered a Killer instinct Swat Xp from outdoor Hobbies and I am absolutely delighted with the service and communication I recieved from outdoor hobbies, killer instinct withheld the release of the crossbow till August but Gary at outdoor hobbies kept me updated on what was happening, he also offered me my money back till he had recieved the crossbow but there was no need, if your looking for any products for archery I highly recommend outdoor hobbies you can't go wrong, thank you Gary for a wonderful service and for keeping me updated, I will most definitely use your company for all my archery needs. The ordered product "Crossbow Archery Ratchet Bow Press" was shipped internationally to Kuwait in time. I received the product and used it to replace cables and string of my compound crossbow Centerpoint 370 XL Specialist 180 lbs draw weight. It worked perfectly with no issues. Very sturdy and high-quality product.

Really happy with the outdoor hobbies, especially my point of contact Gary. I was really amazed to get a response about an enquiry on Saturday evening (or Sunday - don't remember). And the communication with them has been super speedy through out the whole order thing. Happy about the solutions they proposed and got an excellent product from them. Top marks from me!

Got the nylon whip it's very well made I'm very happy with it

I recently purchased a recurve crossbow from Outdoorhobbies, unfortunately, when it arrived it had a tiller issue.

I emailed customer services with a photo of the problem and got a quick response from Gary stating that he thought the limbs would need replacing.

He sent out a new set of limbs which were pretty straight forward to fit and resolved the issue immediately.

In my opinion, it’s only when things go wrong that you get a true indication of how a business treats its customers, after my experience with Outdoorhobbies I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Top drawer service from Gary and the team,answered all my questions (of which there were many) when I ordered my Excalibur Assassin 400TD, and continue to provide support.
As for the bow itself,I spent several weeks researching which particular make,model and type to get.
Whilst compound bows seem great my preference was for 'Recurve' and Excalibur who've chosen to stay exclusively with this simpler design.
I also liked the 'Take Down' feature which allows the bow assembly to detach quickly and simply from the body of the crossbow,making transportation an absolute doddle.
Integral cocking/de-cocking is also simple and straightforward,although a point to note which isn't made clear in the instructions:
When de-cocking,you need to release the Full draw Latch under load,this 'HAS' to be done by applying pressure with the fitted cocking handle and then pressing the FDL to release at the same time.
Hold it tight since it'll want to run away with you and then crank anti-clockwise.
Also my personal preference for finish was the 'True Timber Strata' which required a special order from the US,so lead time was longer but worth it,

EASY TO USE WEBSITE AND QUICKLY RESPONDS TO ANY QUERIES.

Gary is always on the ball, responding to queries. After weeks of waiting, obviously because of cv-19, the exquisite Tenpoint Vapor RS470 finally arrived. It is a joy to behold and use. A word of warning though, I had the impression that the scope had been sighted in by Tenpoint, so I foolishly fired off the first shot at 25 meters only to miss the target by about 3 feet; deep pit punched in wall and much shortened arrow! Lesson, always sight in your scope yourself. This crossbow is so powerful that you need to make sure your target is well stuffed to stop the arrows. Beautifully engineered and accurate, I love it.

My first archery purchase so was utterly clueless.. Gary kept me well informed and up to date in the midst of COVID madness.

Problem in process of being resolved

Excalibur Assasin received in good order. HOWEVER. Ordered optional £40 bipod included in that models option list on website only to find no way to fit it on this model it is clearly not for the assassin. Contacted outdoor hobbies who told me to buy the tacpac adapter (something like £60) even though excalibur themselves clearly state the tac pac is not for this model! Advised outdoorhobbies they are mistaken and also what am I supposed to do with a £40 bipod also not meant for the assassin they sold me specifically for that package.

UPDATE: have been contacted by seller to resolve the issue since posting this review. They must have dropped the ball on our previous emails

Got my partner to order this since I was working offshore and I could not pay with PayPal and the card verification kept failing with both debit and credit card. The payment method just did not work for me in this instance.

I ordered an R9 RX on the 26/5/20 and it was delivered by Parcel force on the 28/5/20. Very good communication and I'm pleased with purchase.
