The salesperson Kav was very helpful and wasn’t too pushy. He was there when we had any questions and silent bother us.

The help and attention to detail was excellent, and Terry was very knowledgable and friendly. he knew everything about colour and build quality and showed us exactly what we outlined to him what we were looking for.

I ordered a sofa from Furniture Village Northampton on 9 July and was advised that the expected lead time was 11 weeks. I paid a £968.50 deposit on an order worth £1,968.50.
I already considered 11 weeks a very long lead time for a sofa, but I accepted it when placing the order.
The 11 weeks passed without delivery. I also received no proactive communication explaining that the order was delayed.
I tried contacting the store by phone and left my details as requested, but nobody called me back. I also emailed the salesperson who sold me the sofa and received no response.
I eventually tracked the order myself and discovered that the estimated delivery date had been pushed back.
After I posted a Google review about the experience, someone from Furniture Village contacted me and told me that the sofa should arrive within the next couple of days. That did not happen.
It has now been approximately 13 weeks since I placed the order. Every time I check the online order tracker, the estimated delivery window seems to move further into the future. I still do not have a reliable delivery date.
So the issue is now twofold: an already very long 11-week lead time has become roughly 13 weeks, and the communication around the delay has been extremely poor.
What I find particularly unacceptable is being told that the sofa was imminent, only for the estimated delivery date to move back again by around another two weeks.
The original purchasing experience in the showroom was pleasant, but the after-sales experience has been extremely disappointing. After spending nearly £2,000 on a sofa and waiting more than three months, I think it is reasonable to expect clear communication and a reliable delivery estimate.
I will update this review if and when the matter is resolved.

Whole experience was great throughout the purchase of our sofa, delivery and installation. Sales staff were knowledgeable and installers were very professional. Delivered and installed yesterday on time stated. Hoping to get many years use out of it.
