Our basement floor and walls are dry for the first time since we have lived here which is 42 years. We had a lot of rain this fall which flooded our backyard. Our basement remained dry.

System works flawlessly! No gimmicks just plain hard work to install and done in a professional manner..

I hired mid Atlantic because I thought they were a professional company but it turns out that they sub contract local companies to come do the work , as it turned out the company they subcontracted out wss not not very professional or that experienced, but they got the job done and it's working for now , my basement is dry but the cement work could of looked better !

Good experience with Mid-Atlantic from initial visit to assess through three requests for visit after installation.

They did everything they said they could and would do and they did it expertly and efficiently. My basement is DRY!!!!
After a bit of exploration, the price is a little higher than some other companies, BUT worth a little more for the quality of service. Totally cleaned the area when done and done on time as stated.

The salesman told us that their company is unique because they use a patented product, and that unlike their competitors, they leave tabs going to your block wall for stability in the basement floor. We were told that this process is more labor intensive and therefore effects their pricing. However the actual workers decided to dig a trench around entire basement, rather than leaving the tabs for stability. No one discussed the change in plans with us although we were home the day the trenches were dug. We called our salesman to ask why the job wasn't being done as we agreed, he said in some cases they can't perform the job as advertised and as we had discussed. We understand that sometimes things need to be adjusted or adapted to each jobsite. However we felt as the homeowners we should have been consulted and given the opportunity to discuss the changes to the plans.
Then we come to the price. We agreed on a price based on them leaving the tabs, and tunneling under them to lay the gravel and pipe. Supposedly a more labor intensive and therefore expensive process. Oddly, the job has gone from a 4 day job, to a 2 day job. Yet the price remains the same, because they are taking different steps to anchor the floor to the block wall. I may have understood and believed that, if they had addressed this with us before the changes were made.
Because of this we feel the sales person misrepresented his company to us. We no longer have faith in the company, because of his misrepresentation of the job. We're still hoping for the best, but would not recommend this company.

The installers were efficient and finished in the allotted time under less-than-ideal conditions ( only one outlet to basement ). The sole complaint was improperly-set concrete on the section left open for the inspector. Mid-Atlantic came back and rectified the problem at no charge.

Very professional & thorough workers. From the sales pitch to the final signature everyone was informative, helpful & friendly. Excellent job!

Did the work as stated in the contract. What more can you ask of a company. Also came back, free of charge, to check out some small water in the basement and determined it was from a small drip from an outdoor faucet handle located the basement.

I believe I got top quality workmanship and an end product I can depend on. I'll never have to worry or even think about rainstorms or flooding again.

Did a good initial installation.When a problem occurred they fixed it in a timely manner.Would recommend them to potential accounts.

Did what they said they were going to do. Basements dry for the first time in forever. Lose a star because they are way more expensive than the competition but I bought it for the warranty. No one touches that.

The job was well done. However, the company had no interest in answering a simple question after the job was complete. Also, referral gift that was promised was never paid to the person that referred us to your company.

A little pricey but worth it. Great work and full confidence in their work. Also, they exceeded the projected timeline. The only thing is that they are a little pricey (and a little salesy to close the deal) but if you are ok with those things, then its worth it.

The system is working overtime at our house. These weeks of rain on and off has kept our basement system busy.

Overzealeous in selling of their waterproofing. Dissatisfied with the installation of the plastic in my crawl space and they were unable to install vent cover seals from the outside, so I have no vent covers! The project was overpriced!

The crew was unaware of the inability to run the piping through to the back yard, but did run it out to the front. The piping is very visible and not particularly attractive but it is what it is. Seems to be working fine. Also they were a little sloppy and splashed "cement" on my cellar door which is now hardened. Overall as far as I could tell they did a good job except for the aforementioned item.
