they did a very good job. Fast,effient,and cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with the job they did.

The company rep came to my home last year, did an hour long presentation on the overall services provided by their company. They stopped my basement from leaking and installed another sump pump in addition to the one I already have. All turned out well until I noticed as I was cleaning my basement and bumped into a wall, the entire corner of the wall is literally swinging from the top of the foundation. They removed two doors, one from an additional room that I have, and one from the laundry room. Neither of the doors close properly. One is completely off track, it is not lined up to close flush against the knob catch. The other door hangs low and doesn't catch against the knob catch as well. When I called to have the problem resolved, a rep tried to explain away how doors do not always realign properly once removed.
I am renovating every room in my home on my own, instead of them sending someone out to fix the problem, he tried to play me as if I didn't know about doors, walls and repairs. Only a naive person would buy that line of crap.
He also said they would send someone out to fix the problems, but they never showed up.
Lastly, the friend of mine who recommended this company was supposed to receive a referral check for $200.00. I had to call them (4) times to remind them to send my friend their check in which they still did not receive it. Finally they asked for my friends information, and told me to have my friend call. After they confirmed who my friend was, they at last sent the check(about 8-9 months later.)
Needless to say I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and wish I had never used this company. I should've went with Bdry instead. I would've rather had a $13k job done by a more reputable and reliable business that had more integrity than mid-Atlantic.
Don't fall for the stats they offer concerning other waterproofing companies, do your own research. On my way to BBB now to post the same review.

Quick installation, very professioal

They said it would be a 2 day job and the installation crew was fast, on time, and done as I was told they would be. System has been running without issues for over a year. Nice to be the guy at work who does not have to leave early for a flooded basement.

Our installation was excellent! We are 100% satisfied. We were promised a free dinner at a restaurant of our choice by the salesman during the initial contract signing, when we signed. We never received it, and after calling about it, received nothing but excuses. If your going to promise extras, deliver as promised.

My system was installed 3 years ago and NO water in my basement!

They did a nice job and came back when we had some seepage. Just wish they did the electrical work too.

The price was reasonable, the workers were professional, and the waterproofing was amazing! The cellar which was getting wetter each year hasn't seen a drop of water since.

These guys did a great job. They went through 2 electric jack hammers in two days jack hammering the floor! The cleaned up and were very clear to what they were doing. I do highly recommend this company!

Outstanding Company. They were in and out in two days, and brought a great deal of peace of mind to my wife and I, knowing our basement is dry. Even after the most severe downpours, we have no evidence of any leakage we had become so used to. Thank you for your tremendous expertise you have shared with us.

They were on time...Any mess made, was cleaned up by them. Did not waste any time.
They were polite and respectful. It's been 4 yrs and not any problems with any kind of water. My neighbors have water in their basements, but not me!!!!

The representative was very knowledgeable about the product and his presentation was excellent. We are very happy with the finished product. Service after the sale has been very accomodating. I would highly recommend using Midlantic.

(This review is being written two years after Mid-Atlantic serviced our house.) They were efficient and the waterproofing solution (French Drain in basement) is effective. The labor crew helped me out by "finding" some corrogated PVC to attch to the sump output to route the water to the edge of my property. They even dug the trench and buried the pipe! Very helpful.
The dust sealing that was installed before the basement floor was attacked was ineffective at keeping dust out of the main living area of our house. A large air-gap (2' sq) was left that drafted a ton of dust into the living area and kitchen, and into the HVAC. Mid-Atlantic paid for a cleaning service to clean the house, but I was still removing dusty dishes from the cupboards and blackened air filters from the HVAC for months.
The paperwork that weas left at the house included a hand-written note at the top, something to the effect of, "wife just had baby and is hormonal, please handle with care." I'm sure those were not the words. My wife and I were offended by the lack of professionalism that one note reflected. Ignoring the fact that those types of comments should not be made, they certainly should NOT be put on anything the client will see (and keep for their records...)!
Otherwise the work was performed in a timely manner and I've had a dry basement since then.

Excellent Job, great Service! I would highly recommend this company

The crew started the day after Christmas. They arrived on time and ready to work. They were all good guys and very hard workers.

They completed the job in less than expected time and with only a few minor issues. When tying the sump drain pipe into my drainage pipe they broke the pipe. They immediately told me and didn't try to hide or deny it. I took pictures and sent it to the office. They put it in my file and said they would take care of it if there were any issues.

A few days after the job was completed in noticed a few holes for the vented drain plugs had not been drilled. They quickly sent someone to complete the drilling.

The biggest issue was they didn't cover all the belongings they had me move to the center of the cellar with plastic as the salesman told me they would. Instead they made a half moon plastic wall around the stuff. Needless to say I spent a lot of time the next few weekends cleaning the belongings.

As far as the waterproofing everything is working well. Over the past two months we have had a considerable amount of rain and melted snow. I have not seen any water. I am looking forward to the spring and summer downpours to really test it! If the system continues to work it will provide us a considerable amount of piece of mind. From what I have seen so far I think we are going to be extremely happy!

With the exception of the belongings not being covered we were extremely happy with the job. Our salesman wasn't pushy, the office people were very good from the scheduling and warranty follow up and the crew worked extremely hard. Overall I would give the experience a 95 out of 100 so far.

Work was done quickly and efficiently. No problems since work was completed.

All basement leaks stopped by Mid-Atlantic as promised.
after installation of perimeter drain / sump pump system still has water seeping through crack in foundation. Service call was made and Mid-Atlantic came and applied a carbon fiber epoxy sealant to inside wall over crack. Wall seepage stopped instantly and has not resumed. Not a drop of water anywhere in basement since. One of the best cap-improvements we have made to house since purchase in 2006.

The 2 guys who came did a very nice job. They were friendly and curious. They worked very hard . The boss was not happy that this job took 4 days. My house is old and the only way to the basement is through the house (no outside entrance.) They had no way to remove the broken cement or dirt but by buckets. This was a lot of work for them. I appreciate them for all they did. They kept me informed as to what they were doing the whole time.

I was very happy with the work they did except they forgot to plug up a hole in the wall from the inside.
