The gentlemen that came to our house were very respectful of our home. They took all the waste out throw the basement window so as to not "track" it through the house. They were done in a matter of days, not weeks! We have now had this system for a number of years, and we have not had one problem with moisture or flooding since. I highly recommend this company!

We have had no problems with water or dampness since the work was done. Work was done on-time, per the specs, the work areas were left clean, a post visit made to be sure we understood everything installed, and they quickly corrected one problem that had occurred.

We spent $20,000 to waterproof our basement 2 years ago and we are STILL getting water. Thirty days after the original install, we had water coming up through cracks in the floor. Rich Labicki oversaw the original work and came back to install short laterals in the floor to fix the issue. Last Spring, our basement flooded with 6" of water and we lost $10,000+ in possessions because of water coming up through the cracks in the floor. After extensive calls and complaints, they installed an additional pump on May 6, 2019. We have repeatedly told Rich, Dan Rubbo, the General Manager, and the last installers that as long as there are cracks in the floor, we will continue to get water in the basement. Sure enough, on the first significant rain last night (May 20, 2019), we again have water coming up through the cracks in the basement floor. Our home has been torn up for a year waiting for this problem to be resolved. If water came up through the cracks on day 30, it makes no sense that all of this time and effort has been made without addressing that issue. We are extremely frustrated to spend $20,000 for a dry basement while continuing to deal with water in our basement. What will it take to get what we paid for?

From the time your rep. walked into my house he tried to overstate the severity of the water problem. I agreed to pay $9000.00 to resolve the water problem that your people never fixed. They took down 12 inches of paneling in the basement, then jackhammered out along my entire basement wall and the water cascaded into my basement. One of your reps. came out but nothing was done to correct the problem.My neighbor came over and for less than $500 we resolved the problem. If you were a legit. company you would rebate some of my $9000.00. Hope to see my review on your site ED

Buyer beware!!!
This company has subcontractors which not only don’t know what they are doing, but needed the help and guidance provided by someone I had at my residence to be sure work was performed correctly. We’re my friend not present, this company would have performed their service in a substantial different manner than agreed in contract. If you’re in need of basement water remediation, find out what type of foundation you have and what is the best manner to remediate BEFORE hiring anyone. Find a company with company workers not subcontractors. AND ABOVE ALL, NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Could write a novel on the issues, but decided to stop here.

My mother and aunt (76 & 77, respectively) hired Mid-Atlantic to waterproof their basement, due to regular flooding issues during heavy rains and snow melt-off. Mid-Atlantic took longer than quoted to start the job, by nearly a month. The workers encountered a thicker than expected foundation slab which supposedly broke their jack-hammer. Despite several phone calls, and a few more flooded basement incidents in the meantime, they took several months to come back to complete the work and seemed more skilled at making excuses for their delay than at actually completing the job for which they'd been contracted. When they finally did come back and finish they cleaned up NONE of the mess and dust they created, and did nothing to move anything back where it was originally, but rather left everything to be moved by 2 elderly ladies. Very classy move there Mid-Atlantic. I just spoke to my mother earlier tonight and last week, over a month after the work was supposedly finished, they're still getting water just as badly as ever...perhaps worse..in the same places that Mid-Atlantic supposedly "fixed".
Dealing with Mid-Atlantic has been an absolute nightmare for my mother and aunt. I would recommend hiring anyone but them, or do nothing at all before hiring Mid-Atlantic for anything. If you hire them that's exactly what you'll get....nothing, except a huge mess that YOU will have to clean up. The only thing they did quickly or with any degree of competence was cash the check. Worst contracting company I've ever encountered. Absolutely horrible!

We found that they completed the job in an expedient and professional manner. When a minor problem arrived, they promptly came out and fixed it.

Good warranty, supported Radon basement, did warranty work. Pricey & pressure sell but in the end best move I made. Was able to get a quick slot in schedule and the workers did it all in one day. A year later all holding up well.

I had them come in and take care of my basement. It has been over five years and we still have a dry basement. Prior to having Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing waterproof our basement it was always, damp and you had that smell of mold. We are very happy with the results.

5 stars my basement is DRY, no moisture or condensation or dampness, even with all the rain we have had. So happy we did it when we did. I am still amazed at how hard the men worked. We had minimal cleanup and now to begin the family room.

The lack of follow up was the only knock I had. But being in the customer service environment I believe that to be a big knock. A system should be in place to keep the homeowner in lock step with the process.

Overall pleased with service. No water in basement so far post 3 months. Took longer than quoted and back porch was ruined from concrete footprints but will repaint hopefully this spring/summer. The workers were very respectful and mindful of my cats as they were coming and going.

The work was done efficiently. They didnt leave a mess for me to clean up. The best part was that during this wet rainy year, I didn't get any water in my basement. It was the best investment.

I had the basement water proofed 7 years ago and no issues since.
I called to have my lumps serviced and was told the pumps are fine
I trust thevwirkmanship and quality and can highly recommend Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing.

The work crew was wonderful. It took longer than estimated because there was only one guy sent.

My only problem was they clogged my drain in the basement with debris and they couldn't get it unclogged. They told me to call a plumber and if it wasn't too expensive, they'd pay the bill. The plumber actually talked to the owner and it was agreed the plumber would snake the drain. The plumber had a longer snake than the crew did and he was able to clear the blockage. I paid the plumber and 3 months later I'm still waiting to be reimbursed by Mid-Atlantic.

Even though the completed job took longer than estimated, I would recommend this company to anyone in need of waterproofing. I have never seen workers so dedicated and hardworking. Every question I had was answered. The system has been put to use since installed. Worth every penny paid.
