Great at home service, easy to book and reasonably priced

Reduces the pain!! Linked to and appraised by AA is of great benefit and peace of mind. Garage linked is brilliant from start to finish

Excellent all inclusive service. AA staff were great took an interest in my car ensuring all systems were updated.

⁸Starter motor went on my mini , so got aa smart care to replace the part , was going on holiday , so booked in the car for 14 days later .

On the day the mobile mechanic was due to come , I had a phone call from smart care to say there was no starter motor for my mini In the uk 🤔 . I'm sure they could of phoned days before to say no parts

But we can get it picked up and taken to a garage 🤐 ( thought there wasn't any parts in the uk)

Over 700 starter motors on ebay and plenty on europarts

So wasted my time the AA smart care .
Oh and the mechanic was sick today

Car collected in the am, serviced and returned. The personnel collecting and returning the car were very pleasant. Garage kept me informed from the time I booked in my MOT and service. Will be using them again.

Turned up on time, very friendly. Kept me updated with progress. So much easier than taking to a garage.

The hole process was great, good communication l will definitely be using the AA again superb value for the money.

Quick and easy booking - All staff were polite and and quick with the service - only downside was, it would have been nice if they had washed/cleaned the car for me:)

I found this process very straightforward. Essentially my car was picked up, MOT'd and serviced for a fixed amount. Any extra charges were because new tyres were needed to pass the MOT (I was already aware this was the case.) I was kept informed about the pick up time from my home and the garage rang when the car was done and informed when it would be delivered back. The reciept showed what had been done.
The garage used had very good reviews on Trustpilot which was reassuring for me as a first time user who was new to the area.
The fact it was via the AA was also something that made me trust the process.
Overall, I felt it was good value for money and a simple process.

A had a full service at home. The Service Report was incomplete - literally no commentary at all to day what work had been done. Faults I had pointed out to the mechanic were not recorded and I was informed by the mechanic that there was a major fault with the engine - no mention or record of the conversation was noted in the report. I contacted Customer Services through the only way that you can - via Whatsapp - and eventually was given a contact number to phone. As of time of writing I have called the number 12 times and each time the line has been busy. Given that I was told not to drive the car by the mechanic and the subsequent failure to acknowledge any issues on the inspection report - which means I have no evidence that what I was told was fabricated or otherwise - the lack of response by the AA has left me in a very difficult position. The entire experience means I will never feel confident in using any AA services again.

The mechanic was amazing. A nice friendly chap. Hats off to him
