RAC Mobile Mechanics Arvostelua 

Arrived as scheduled and with 20 minutes telephoned prior notice of arrival. Very friendly mechanic who took time to explain all aspects of the work particularly the advisory points and how important they were in terms of needing attention in view of the annual low mileage. Very clean work. This first experience demonstrated the advantage of the service compared to visiting a local garage with limited bus service access.

Very helpful explained things to me that I was not sure about.

Broke down in a car wash - not ideal!
Arrived within 15 minutes, diagnosed the issue - flat battery! charged me up to get home & booked for an engineer to come out and replace in 2 days. Replaced the battery outside my house, fair pricing and great service.

Amazing service very friendly and helpful

I used my Hastings Direct app and was given an estimated time for the mechanic to attend. He was on time and got my car started. He then arranged for another mechanic to attend my home address and replaced the old battery. The service from both mechanics was excellent and both were extremely polite and helpful.

I liked that he called in advance to let me know , when he was arriving …. Keeping one in the loop ,so to say .
Efficient , polite , explained everything that was being carried out .I was treated with respect .The area was left clean and tidy.

Our mechanic was excellent and got the service done within 1.5 hrs. All very easy and good value too.

He explained the problem in detail and advised the remedy which I took on board.I booked with RAC mobile for repair and the same mechanic came and fixed the issue with ease and confidence-a great service!

All parts of the process were easy and explained to me.
Very convenient and all the RAC people I have spoken to have been nice and friendly.

Would have given 5 stars, however, the initial diagnostic check was incorrect and the office also sent out the wrong part for the repair.
That being said, from that point on, the young mechanic went above and beyond to rectify the mistakes made by his colleagues and successfully resolved an issue that a local garage couldn't fix! Furthermore, the RAC’s customer service was impeccable when dealing with my complaint regarding the wrong diagnostic and office issues.
Having a repair completed at home is incredibly convenient, and I would still fully recommend their service. Hopefully, they will learn from my experience and put corrective measures in place for the future.

Just had a very traumatic experience all because of the RAC! Broke down and was left at the side of a dual carriageway for 8 hours, in a hot temperature with no water, as they couldn’t get any patrol out! For 8 hours?!? Really?? Isn’t that the core of what the RAC does? Instead, they leave me waiting for 8 hours then contract the recovery to a local pick up company, that took me to the closest village and simply dumped me and my car stranded in the middle of the night in a strange village with nowhere else to go!!! I had to spend £250 on a taxi to get home and still need to somehow collect my car from 120 miles away! They have no morals, ridiculously poor customer service and no thought or care to any of their members! WHERE IS YOUR HUMANITY?!?
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you need a roadside assistance company, use Green Flag or someone else instead!! 0 out of 5.

I don’t know who to contact to complain about this!

I feel a little disappointed this time after getting my car serviced and it has put me off doing it again after using this service before,I didn't receive a phone call,Liam the driver just turned up all thought he was plesent he was on the phone and worked on my car at the same time,I've been told I have an oil leak but he doesn't know where it's from or going so not sure how I get it fixed he advised me to go to a garage and pay for a dinostics test or I could get you out again and pay 90 pounds for a test I was also told my brakes and pads will need replacing so i said can you fix them and they said yes ,it explains everything in an email so was expecting a quote

Not great as not happy after taking my car for mot and failed on tyre which I was told by your mechanic it will pass and also he did not take it for test drive and also not sure if anything was done to the car (service wise)
