Chicken tikka masala is so so bad.
Thin, runny sauce that tastes awful. Just the look was enough. Ventured into dangerous waters by having a teaspoonful. That was more than enough. This is much worse than a curry Pot Noodle and that's saying something. Never buy this...NEVER.

I was very aggressively verbally attacked at 11:30 pm on 14/05/2023 by a customer. Totally unprovoked, and he followed me around the shop as to intimidate me whilst shouting personal remarks at me. The 2 staff on duty that did nothing whatsoever, and they clearly saw the distress I was in. I understand from talking to the shop manager about this, that he said staff’s safely is their priority, but what about our the customers safety, the staff on duty that night didn’t even say a word. I’ve since filled a police report.

For someone with a mental Illness, this experience has left me scared and vulnerable to go out of my own house, and has profoundly affected and exacerbated my mental health

They charge twice or more price than the normal price. The coffee jar that I wanted is normally £3.50 everywhere but in Spar it’s £6.50. Then they have the audacity to say to us “Spar, there for you”. No, you’re there for yourself and rip your customers off. Never going in there again!

Two weeks on the trot paid twice for an item on their useless self service tills. Alternative is to stand in a queue for ages because they only ever open one till out of a possible 4. I'm done with Spar shops.

Deeply dissapointed, cca.10 delivery which has not been aight during the months, on the top of that ca.500HUF compensation which they are holding back for approx. a week now.

Item priced differently from the till price. The manager named "Job" refused to acknowledge their mistake and not sell the item for the advertised price. I was then told to leave the store, that I am not welcome there. Obviously I will not return. Really dissapointing service.

That's my last time going in there after going in every morning and afternoon for months. There is one staff member that always is rude to me, and this morning I went in early morning and ordered some food off jer only for the same staff member to then give my food away to a man that came in a long whiles after me. No problem to me but they have lost a customer that spends a min of £20 a day in there because I refuse to be served like that by that one old miserable woman. shame as the rest of the staff are great but every time I go in there its the same thing of the same women. lost a valued customer today.

Was served by a rude member of staff an on leaving the shop over heard how this girl tash that had served me was high on pain killers harrington road is somewhere I will not shop again no drug policy in the work place obviously

Do not go to Spar on windmill estate in Southall.
They overcharge, charging £3 for spaghetti, honestly, please be careful and avoid going there. A bunch of thieves, unhygienic and overstocked.

Rude and Hostile Staff with out-of-date products.

If the Health Inspector took samples of the products on the shelfs of my local store, the store would be immediately closed. I wouldn’t feed my dog with any of the moldy meat products currently on sale.

I purchased recently a Spa branded “stone baked wood fired pizza”, it sounds great, what a mess. If I knew it was a spar branded product, I wouldn’t have bothered. But Spar hides in embarrassment the small print on the box saying that the product is their own brand on fancy packaging. Hardly any topping with pizza dough fuzzy texture, I had to throw the product straight in the bin for fear of poisoning. In a cost-of-living crisis, people are sick of being ripped off. Clearly, the directors of Spar have sensibly never shopped within their own stores or attempted to eat any of the spar products.

Spar 2 Oxford Road Manchester M1 5QA. Absolute disgraceful behaviour from a female member of staff on Saturday morning purple/black hair. I purchased a pasty also I usually pay my bills there and as I left the store I was accossed by an aggressive beggar at the door who called me a F***ing c*nt for not giving him any money for his drug addiction. I went back into the store to get some help and was met with the rude/dismissive abrupt female who was defending the beggar telling me to be quiet her ignorance was astonishing, I asked for her manager she refused to get them so I had to go searching for the manager myself, he was apologetic and went to talk to her, she never listened or stopped her job to listen him, totally ignorant women, talking through us and no one dealt with the beggar who was smirking at the door saying 'that didn't get you anywhere did it!' adding insult to injury, left the area feeling low and let down, will report to head office so others don't have to deal with such poor customer service, I also work in retail and would never treat a customer this way.

Bought some cigarettes cost just short of £16 for 20 what a absolute rip off descusting

Having a self service (card only) checkout does not mean there is no need for staff in the shop. 3 staff out the back and queue building with people having trouble with the only self service till, or waiting to pay with cash. When I complained I was just told “we were busy out the back”!!

The new sea salt &pepper crackers taste phenomenally!! Great new addition for savoury cracker lovers.;)

This concerns the spar in Mundesly Norfolk. The manager was Rude refused to give me a card receipt, accused me of trying to steal after I had told him I wanted to pay for the item separately and I was made to feel unwelcome in the store. Also the store was dirty and poorly lit

It's a convenience store so as such prices are hilariously high. But what narks me every time is that the staff have no idea how to top up a smarty phone account even after scanning the paypoint barcode. Please train staff. Especially in PE2 5PW.

I’m not sure how/ where we review food.
I bought a spar brand pizza at the local shop last night. The dough didn’t cook despite the topping almost burning.
It was swimming in oily (fake cheese)

Tonight I bought my son spar brand vanilla ice cream, which doesn’t taste like ice cream at all but the most synthetic, tasteless creamy substance.
In short the “food” produced is utter rubbish and made) I assume from 99% unnatural ingredients)
I would rather pay 2x the price in a recession for better food - well actual food, not rubbish.

Extremely rude shop owner or assistant, I asked about a parcel and he started shouting to me and told me I am wasting his time while I was looking for tracking number to my parcel.
Please avoid this sop at all costs

They sold me fake vodka. After rising my concerns to them they refused to serve me in the shop. I just hope British Standards will bloody fine them
