Spar Truck part in our private car park legally. Sunday afternoon licence plate BD16 FFY just sitting there for over 1/2 hour really loud vibrating the building.

Terrible service from them via Snappy Shopper, pay a fortune for delivery and alway very late and missing items. Will stick with other delivery companies from now on

Made the mistake of getting a couple of sandwiches from Spar, what mistake! A chicken salad that hardly any chi ken in it and prawn mayonnaise with hardly any prawns in. The price was more than a meal deal from Tescos.Most of the filling was pushed to the centre so when it was cut in half and in the box makes the sandwich look 'full. Complained to Spar- not interested and try passing me on to their supplier! The supplier came back and said it was to specification. Someone is making loads of money somewhere. Think twice before buying their overpriced and underfilled sandwiches.

Fully loaded pizza was discusting, it made me and my son sick, was a BBQ meat feast, never had something so terrible

Parcel dropped off at Spar shop in Burscough on 29/9/.23 for collection by Yodel.
Assisant scanned parcel in and advised a confirmation email would be sent with tracking number.
As no email receved, I telephoned the store on 29/9.23 and I was told to wait until next day for email/confirmation.
I rang Spar again today 4/10/ 23 and I explained that I am still awaiting the promised confirmation email.
The assistant confirmed that although the parcell has been collected, they cannot help and suggested I ring Yodel.
Yodel advised they cannot help without the tracking number!!!!!
Seems each of them could not care less!

I had a disappointing experience at the Spar on Cardiff Road, Newport recently. I arrived at the store at 10:58 PM, just two minutes before their closing time of 11 PM. My main reason for stopping was to get milk for my 18-month-old daughter. However, when I approached the store, I could see the staff inside through the glass door.

I politely asked if I could purchase some milk, as there were still two minutes left until closing time. Unfortunately, the staff's body language was quite arrogant, and they simply told me that the till was closed. This response left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

As a parent with a young child, those two extra minutes could have made a significant difference for me. I understand the importance of closing on time, but a bit more understanding and customer service in this situation would have been greatly appreciated. It's essential for businesses to balance their policies with empathy for their customers, especially when dealing with urgent needs like this one.

Over priced and avoid ready meals altogether,for the price they charge you is ridiculous it's just greed. The plastic does not peel off and food quality really bad. They are also the most expensive place to sell vapes. Most places sell 2 for £10 or pushing 2 for £12, they are charging £15 for 2 I seen in one shop, complete Rip off, only use when really stuck avoid if I can. Scotland.

Don't recommend this Gregg's the bosses daughter Poppy is rude and unhelpful --- I've been having hazelnut latte's from there for age Today Poppy who never seen before stated ---- No you can't have hazelnut latte it's ONLY for chocolate!!!! I said I've had them loads of times Reply--- tough I think this Poppy should be removed I'm not impressed AND FEEL Spar could be tarnished by her rude behaviour In fact Gregg's wouldn't employ somebody that rude

I bought pasties & Stilton pies plus pizza all very fresh and really tasty . Very good customer service throught the store .

I purchased a low-fat Spar-branded convenience meal from a Spar Store when on holiday in Northumberland.
The meat content appeared fatty and lumps of gristle meant the meal was pretty much inedible. Not being able to return to the Store where I purchased the meal, I wrote to Spar Head Office by email, attaching photographs of the meal and packaging. Spar responded, saying that they would investigate the complaint with their supplier. After a long period of time, they sent me a £5 Spar Voucher to be spent in a Spar Store. I subsequently visited my local Spar Store in Arnold, Nottingham and purchased several items but when I offered the £5 Spar coupon as part payment, the shop assistants, one of whom was the Manageress, flatly refused to accept the voucher. Once again, I contacted Spar HQ to complain and was told that only Spar Stores which operate from premises owned by the Company are able to accept the voucher. How a customer is expected to know who owns the building being used as a Spar Store is quite beyond me! It seems that I am going to have to travel several miles to a Spar-owned Spar Shop in order to use the Spar Voucher. If you have cause to complain about a Spar product, I suggest you ask for your money back rather than accept a Spar voucher which seemingly can only be used in a minority of Spar Shops.

The Chideock store is well managed, well staffed and well stocked. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Having the post office is an added bonus too. A great village store.

Hotwells Rd Bristol. £4 for a very standard sandwich? No thanks. I bought bread and eggs to make my own. Checked three packs of eggs. “Mixed sizes “ said the box. No - they were uniformly tiny. £2 for 6. Staff are rough too.
Never again.

The Spar store in Twyford Winchester needs to be avoided, surly un helpful staff who ignored me as their only customer, refused to provide a parcel service they are paid to provide, the owner held the door open for me to leave, appalling.
