They obviously do not know the meaning of customer service! Endless emails sent and auto generated responses but no one gets back to you, utterly frustration and would not recommend, Am being charged a penalty for their failure to set up a direct debit and am being penalised for their errors!

Will be reporting to Financial Ombudsman and BVRLA

I had cancer 2 years ago I was off work and finding it difficult to make ends meet I called RCI and asked them for a payment break which on proof of my condition and treatment were happy to do ...2 weeks later was when the nightmare begun every day sometimes 3 times a day they called me telling me I hadn't paid my finance I was behind with my payments and was at risk of losing my car I had to explain every call every day that I had a payment break very stressful and as a company totally incompetent I would never use them again.....

PCP Nissan customers beware!

I took a Nissan Qashqai on a 4 year PCP from my main Nissan dealer in Dundee in 2022 and the finance was through RCI. I had no problem whatsoever throughout the 4 years I made all my payments on time I cherished the car having it fully looked after for the full 4 Years with the dealer who were excellent to deal with. The problems started at the end of agreement. The car had a shortfall trade in value so the dealer said you are probably better to hand it back and ‘fight the finance company’. I couldn’t think what he meant by that as my car had just been serviced and MOT’D by the main dealer with all green lights and no advisories. I advised RCI that I just wanted to hand the car back and the lady said that’s ok I can arrange that now for you as you have made more than half the payments ( I only had 2 to go and would have happily kept until they were paid) but I took her advice and was told a company called Manheim Inspection Services would come and collect the car and inspect it. I thought this would be a simple process as although the car was now 5 years old it was in excellent condition. On collection day the man said he would inspect for an hour or so and let me know when he was finished. I was shocked when he took great delight in telling me I ‘will be getting a big bill from this one’. He had listed a tiny scratch on the sill a tiny bump in the door a split in a rubber seal a hole in the carpet! I then received a bill of £685.81 + vat. I complained about the bill but they aren’t the easiest to contact their phone rings out and nobody calls back. When I did talk to them I felt like I was spoken to like someone in debt to them for not making the last 2 payments. Eventually someone called Axel agreed to reduce the bill by £100 as a ‘goodwill gesture’ he also said I could pay in 2 instalments so reluctantly as I was getting nowhere I agreed to this, I asked Axel to send me an invoice which I could pay by credit card. I received an invoice and all it had was a sort code and account number and no link to pay by card. I tried calling them again the phone says they are too busy to answer your call but someone will call you back I am still waiting! I had to move some finances around and make a bank transfer just to end the stress and sleepless nights. Why are companies allowed to operate in the UK if they treat customers like this? I will never buy a Nissan again even though I like the brand. This end of PCP experience has been horrendous they even charged me an over mileage charge even though I was told twice by them on the phone I was well within my mileage but then it became pro rata as I only paid 46 months out of the 48. This is all obviously just a scam to get money out of unsuspecting customers. I believe this is as big a scandal as the finance scam and having read all the horrendous reviews can’t believe more people are talking about it. I really feel for the poor customers who have yet to go through this but I will never deal with RCI again.

Onprofessioneel en niet communicatief

RCI probeert nogsteeds de maandelijkse accu huur te incasseren. Zij dreigen nu om het voertuig op afstand onklaar te maken. Wat een bijzonder slecht en onsympathiek bedrijf.

Don't rely on their response

I have been trying to connect the Nissan finance since two days and no one is taking call. I also send the email but still I have not received any response. I have paid all my settlement amount for my PCP last 20/03/26. But I have not received any confirmation whether they have received the money.

DOE GEEN ZAKEN MET DIT BEDRIJF!!

Leaseauto (dacia)via hun afgesloten als 'huis'contractor. Contract in goed overleg voortijdig kunnen beëindigen.

En toen begon de ellende. Na 3 maanden totaal langs elkaar heen werken bevestiging van manager ontvangen dat de aanmaningen, belletjes, emails van hun kant uit zouden stoppen na dit al enkele malen beloofd te hebben.
En wat krijg ik vandaag binnen: aanmaning ontvangen over 3 maanden!

Wordt daar totaal niet samengewerkt, management kan blijkbaar niet sturen en afdelingen werken totaal langs elkaar heen.

Ook Renault is inmiddels overgestapt naar een andere leasemy. Ik begrijp nu wel waarom!

Ook gezien de overige recensies 1 en al ellende met dit bedrijf. SLUIT HIER DUS VOORAL GEEN CONTRACTEN AF.

Ik ga het in ieder geval melden bij de consumentenbond en kassa. Hopelijk kunnen zij er wat aan doen zodat gebruikers niet in hun fuik lopen.

Would have put a 0 star review, if allowed.

Never had a problem with this company until now. Their actions could have got me arrested because their system messed up.

My car insurance renewal happened within minutes, they then deemed me to be driving without insurance and sent me an email saying that they were passing this on for criminal prosecution and would attack my credit score.

When I raised a complaint with them they spent 100% of the time blaming me and excusing their staffs mistake, saying I was basically a criminal.

When I raised a second complaint for definition of character and slander, they basically found that amusing and thought £100 would buy my silence.

Avoid this company at all cost!!

Absolutely unbelievable
unbeknown to me the company I initially leased from had gone into liquidation and I was not informed of any new company that had taken over. My car was inspected and collected by the new company, the inspector confirmed verbally there was a small mark but well within the limits and there would not be a damage charge, 2 weeks later I received an invoice for nearly £500 for alleged damage and missing service!
I spoke to them and they said the inspector would of left me his report, he certainly didn’t, I found him rude and unprofessional
The photos they eventually provided clearly showed these were not taken at my home, but they insisted they were
As for the service there was still 2500 miles remaining but they said the service is due at every 12000 miles, Qashqai is 18000 as shown on the dash but they would not except this, instead threatened me with Debt collectors if I did not pay ‘
Never ever again
Don’t go near them with a barge pole !

I barley have the worlds to describe my experience to summarise the Website says I haven’t paid since August despite making my monthly payments, they’ve ended by agreement and referred it to an agency, countless telephone calls and emails and not one person can tell me what is going on or explain anything to me, I’m being completely ignored and told to wait for complaints to handle?! I want to know where my money has been going and why it’s gone to agency!! their customer service is appalling!!

Disgusting customer experience

Absolutely shocking, do not touch with a barge pole!! I have had weeks of issues with Nissan finance that I am still trying to resolve now, I returned my car at the end of the lease agreement as planned (despite other issues caused by Nissan), and received the vehicle inspection report the very next day from car collection company, but 2 weeks later I am receiving multiple threatening letters from Nissan finance saying I’m £11,500 in arrears from the optional balloon payment and it will start affecting my credit rating, despite having returned the car already. I just want the final repair bill settled and to close this case they have caused me hell in stress the last few weeks, I’ve spent hours on the phone trying to resolve and just being fobbed off. Every time I ring up I’m just passed around or on hold for ages, only to be told someone will get back to me who never does

RCI verzorgd de incasso van de accuhuur van Renault Zoe. Op vragen over de hoogte van de accuhuur wordt niet gereageerd. Telefonisch niet bereikbaar. Uiteindelijk na weken mailadres aan garage gevraagd en rechtstreek gemaild. Na 3 teruggeboekte incasso's (wil eerst weten waarvoor ik betaal) uiteindelijk een zakelijk mailtje met gebrekkige informatie. Niet klantgericht en moet je niet mee in zee gaan!! Renault Zoe met accuhuur: nooit intrappen!!!

Incompetent

I asked for a purchase quote for my leased EV battery. I literally had to keep calling and emailing them for several days and they wouldn't send the quote even after saying they'd send it in a few minutes. Today I got three separate emails with the quote after I complained on the phone, but two of them mention a price and the other one another price. They're totally incompetent. On top of that I'm selling my car and the person that buys the car cannot buy the leased battery, I first have to buy the battery or do a lease transfer somehow. I'm not sure if it's specific to their company but it's ridiculous and adds to the wasted time.

Update: I have now sold my car and the battery hire has been transferred to the dealership. I asked them if they had received the battery hire transfer form. Instead of replying to me, they sent me an email asking me to make another payment for the battery and saying the battery belongs to me until the transfer is complete. If I could give 0 stars I would.

INCOMPETENT, STAY AWAY

They cancelled my direct debit by mistake, so I got in arrears. I offered to pay half arrears when they contacted me and other half following month, they suggested spreading it over remaining payments. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE. They "could not adjust direct debit to reflect the new agreement amount" meaning I had to transfer the additional payment.

They lost my money that I transferred ( I had transferred previously for a parking fine and since using same reference number pre set in banking app) and refused to acknowledge it is their issue, despite issuing evidence from the bank.

I got a parking fine, instead of taking £102, they took £808 out of my account, without my permission, I had to use the bank to retrieve the money.

I am constantly recieving emails, messages and phone calls chasing the money they have lost, but they do not answer the emails asking how to complain, asking if they have found my money, acknowledging the PDFs from the bank showing payment. I have never in my life behaved as atrociously as I have to the poor people from their company that phone me without a clue what is happening, but I am genuinely enraged. I had to stop to take a breath whilst typing this as I am getting het up.

Hopefully the financial ombudsman will say, he has evidenced the payment, the bank confirms you have received the money, reverse the negative impact on his credit score and leave him alone.

I genuinely write this hoping to prevent people using this company, not to be malicious to them, but to save you.

⭐ 1-Star Review for Mobilize Finance (RCI Financial Services)

Title: Financed an unsupported, unroadworthy EV – be cautious

In July 2024, I entered a hire purchase agreement with Mobilize Finance to finance a new Fisker Ocean EV. Within weeks, the vehicle suffered major faults — including brake issues, limp mode, and a full breakdown. Soon after, the manufacturer (Fisker Inc.) went bankrupt and exited Europe entirely.

This has left me with a vehicle that:

Cannot be serviced or diagnosed in the UK

Has no parts or software support

Will not pass an MOT when due

Is unsafe and practically undriveable

Despite all of this, Mobilize Finance has so far refused to terminate the agreement or accept a rejection of the vehicle. I have submitted extensive evidence to both them and the Financial Ombudsman, but so far the response has relied heavily on statements from the original dealership, rather than any independent inspection or assessment.

I’ve been left paying for a vehicle I cannot legally or safely use, while receiving no meaningful support from the finance provider. I am now preparing to escalate the matter through legal channels.

⚠️ If you're considering financing an EV — especially one from a newer or non-mainstream brand — I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. Once the vehicle becomes unsupported, Mobilize appears unwilling to acknowledge the practical impossibility of maintaining their side of the agreement.

Incompetent lease company

Incompetent lease company. They have ripped me off. Car is faulty and parked in my driveway for last 5 months. Told them the issues with all evidence but they are not cooperating and giving me any conclusion so i can think about the next step.

Lack of Integrity, THEIVES and Racists

This is a warning

This company has an employee called “Stacey” be wary of her if you ever have to speak to her ask to speak to someone else as either the company is using her or been corrupt is simply who she is by choice. She is willing to lie, manipulate and psychologically abuse a pensioner because thats exactly what she has done.
My mum had been paying her payments repeatedly stacey confirmed there was no reason for the car to be taken and that she can continue to keep the car however stacey conveniently intentionally didnt provide this update to the courts or my mother their agenda was always to take the car and they were willing to abuse a JUDGES WORD in order to do it the judge specifically said prior to my mums agreement with this company that if they DIDNT go into an agreement that they were to go BACK to the judge

This company lacks integrity or respect for customers and theyre willing to abuse the law and ignore judges in order to carry out their own agenda when we spoke to the courts even THEY admitted that what they did is extremely low and shady because they did it behind the courts back by ignoring what the judge said

When they took back the car there were belongings in it an expensive dashcam a coat and a fee other things and the company refuse to return them and even though my mother took images of what was in the car before they took it theyre denying anything was in it which means the people who took the car are THEIVES because it means either theyre LYING about the car been empty and theyve kept the belongings (which woukdbt surprise as this company is nothing more than a bunch of soulless parasites parading themselves as humans or whoever the NPC’s are that they hired who come to collect the car stole our belongings BEFORE returning the car back

I recommend you avoid this company at all costs theyre morally corrupt and cancerous
