UTTERLY DIRE
Utterly, utterly dire in absolutely every possible way. I was going to purchase a new Renault Captur and it appears that this mob are Renault's finance company. I had my Experian account locked and that stopped their initial search. They asked that it was unlocked which was immediately done and then they failed to check my Experian once unlocked and insisted on a "manual search", plus physical drivers licence and passport then the dealer to take a selfie then access my my bank account. In 48 years of buying new and used motorcycles and cars I have never experienced anything so ridiculous and dire. After 4 days they had still to complete their "manual search" so I called the whole sorry episode off. Whatever anyone does stay well clear of this mob. Completely unfit to conduct financial services and huge reputational damage to the dealer and Renault
Shocking
I have no idea how this company are still trading. I have not been able to speak to any of use for the whole length of my contract (4 years!) until they wanted me to take on a new car then they were all over me like a rash.
I got an email confirming my balloon payment would be taken by direct debit which didn't happen. Emailed them to ask why and when they would take it, no response. I received a text asking me to get in touch only to find they had marked me as being in arrears because she decided not to take the payment and instead wanted me to pay by bacs. So as I'm not telepathic, had I not called them and then made payment, my credit score would have been affected. No apology and when i asked if I could complain they said no we don't take complaints.
Avoid like the plague.
No one will help you
No one will help you. They don’t reply to emails or answer calls. The whole of Nissan from the dealerships to the head office to the finance company are unhelpful and deliberately evasive. You will waste your time and get frustrated
Poor, Poor Customer Service
Having had a car hire contract with RCI Financial services for 2 years which was fairly straightforward, since attempting to sell the vehicle and end my contract early, the true depth of incompetence of this firm has been laid bare.
Trying to get hold of the right info with the right person is impossible and they constantly ask you for the same info over and over again.
Every time I speak to a member of their Customer services team, the info I am given changes. Often completely contradicting whatever I was last told.
After weeks and weeks of trying to understand what should be a common and repeatable process, my conclusion is they lack any collective understanding of what should be happening.
I have been left frustrated, out of pocket and with my time wasted for over a month.
Would highly, highly avoid.
Completely incompetent
Completed online a refinance of my Nissan vehicle end of August (for a vehicle coming to end of term in October). Received an email & letter saying it had been approved & my new repayment amount. Fast forward to mid October & I am receiving emails, calls & letters from Nissan saying I am in default! Have spoken to 4 people on the phone now & sent countless ignored emails trying to get this fixed. If this affects my credit score I will sue!

Utterly incompetent from start to finish. They have made the selling of a Renault Zoe a complete nightmare. I'm still paying for a battery hire on a car I sold 6 months ago, despite the relevant forms being completed.
They just don't care and are happy to let complaints run out the 8 weeks before being passed to the ombudsmen.
Avoid dealing with them at all costs if possible.
Very frustrating company, will not lease from them again.
These guys i find to be polite and friendly. However, that is where the good points end. I find this one of the most frustrating companies to deal with. There is a lack of communication between colleagues, resulting in me never getting an email when requested, never getting a call back when requested and having to bang my head against a wall when they finally call me six months later, after I've tried so hard to pay them over the months, with an arrears bill.
The mind boggles.

I have had my car over a year and pay for the maintenance package. I was told i need to call them to organise, they do not answer the phone and you are told you are 10th in the queue for hours on end. I finally called Nissan directly to be told they have a new number and that they haven't updated any of their systems!!! its truly awful and reading recent comments I am seriously nervous about handing the car back as it sounds like they will make up lies to change you unnecessary costs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Used twice now for Nissan cars
Used twice now for Nissan cars. First car got bill for repairs that were non existent and advised to agent collecting. After contesting waived but still charged admin fee. Car just returned March. Took out over 3yrs with 30k mileage but Covid hit weeks after first service at 10300 miles. Handed car back with 13k miles. Just think 17k under agreed but still charged for 2nd service over £200. No compromise simply you need to pay. Shocking and I am glad rid of car now and don’t have to deal with them and would certainly not recommend to anyone going forward

Charged me for uneven wear on tyres that even they admitted were perfectly legal.
Also sent a debt collector after me who harassed me for weeks for the £173 charge that was totally unwarranted.
Unfair charges
I was very disappointed after returning my qashqai which I leased for 3yrs. The car was immaculate and only had 5500 miles on clock and never had any passengers on back seat. After inspection I was charged over £300 for a tiny chip on windscreen which would cost £40.at Halfords. It happened the day before collection from gritter so I had no time to repair which would have been free on my insurance! I.m sorry I had already taken out a new deal with them but won't be using them again I find these charges very unfair

AVOID! AT ALL COSTS! I had an absolutely appalling experience with this company recently, I wish I could give zero stars! Members of staff are completely incompetent and have a "couldn't care less" attitude. I wanted to buy a Renault Zoe from a private seller and the battery was on "hire" from this company for £49 a month. I applied to set up the lease agreement and the document was quickly emailed to me. Straight away I could see that the starting mileage on the document was incorrect, it was 50,000 out! It said 20,372 when it should have been 70,372. I emailed the company and asked them to amend the document. I received an automated email saying they were very busy and they would get back to me, I waited several days but never heard back. The seller was getting very restless and I was worried about my £500 deposit. I rang the company up and after being on hold for ages I spoke to a man who was obviously living in clown world, it was one of the most bizarre conversations I've had, he kept telling me that my information was wrong, it was obvious he was looking at the wrong lease agreement! I rang up again the next day and spoke to a woman, again it was another really bizarre conversation, she said " we don't really mind if the mileage is wrong, we will still come out to you if you break down, the mileage is £20,272 on our system, it must be an issue with the seller" If the mileage is supposedly correct on their system then why is it incorrect on the document? It was a complete contradiction. I said I wasn't signing a document that was incorrect. 50,000 miles is a massive discrepancy and I'm sure I wouldn't be covered if the battery failed. The woman promised to send the amended document but after 2 weeks it has never been sent. I emailed one last time, only to be send the same document that hadn't been amended. The seller was very angry and refused to give me my deposit back, he thought I'd been messing him around. I feel absolutely disgusted and I'm fuming.
Horrendous company they never respond
Horrendous company, they never respond to messages. My finance has been paid off for nearly 2 years but still open on my credit report. I have raised a case with the, and so have equifax but they never respond or update.
Rebranded, but just as bad
This company, now rebranded as 'Mobilize' has absolutely appalling customer service. I sold a Renault Zoe to a dealer as a part exchange and after more than 4 months the transfer of the EV battery lease still hasn't gone through. Mobilize have made zero effort to resolve the issue and it has caused me a lot of angst.

When I part exchanged my old EV through a dealer I filled in my parts of the battery lease transfer form, as the new vehicle was delivered and mine collected by a service (due to Covid) it was not possible to get the completed form back.
The dealer then resold the car and the new buyers bought the battery outright.
However I then started getting letters every few months telling me I was in arrears for battery lease payments, the outstanding balance grew.
Each time they contacted me I phoned them and had to explain what had happened and the dates of transfer etc. The people on the phone agreed that it was an error on their end and assured me that it would be dealt with and would not impact my credit score.
After 4 letters I referred the case to the financial ombudsman. This has now been going on 15 months but today I received another letter of arrears of £1001.
I have to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are unbelievably incompetent as opposed to knowingly attempting to extort via harassment. I am going to call the ombudsman Monday and ask them to get RCI to send me, in writing, confirmation that I owe nothing, if I don’t get that I will likely be logging a civil complaint for harassment.
I do not think battery leases are still a thing, as when I first discussed part exchange with a Nissan dealership their manager had to spend some time on the phone looking into what needed to be done.
However, if you do buy a vehicle from Nissan (I have had 2 Leafs and they are great cars) and need HP then my advice would be to tell them that you will not buy the vehicle if the finance is via RCI.
