Love the £5 bonus promotion! The giftard can be linked with Google Pay, that makes things much more convenient. Best if the next promotion could have options for £10 or £5 bonus that fits different budgets.

Absolute scam! I can’t believe this company is allowed to operate. Can’t use in part payment, like other gift cards. No one accepts them online and if you try to use in stores, you get a blank look and a lot more aggravation. Please avoid giving these as a gift to people, unless you don’t like them and are looking to add to their stress levels. Given the amount of poor reviews I am surprised this company is even in business. It must survive on the taking of people’s unspent balances.

I was very nervous if I’d done the right thing ordering a digital gift card on All4one - firstly the confirmation emails did not confirm the details of who I’d sent it to! It was confusing too as all an information was as if it was for me & not to the recipient!
The recipient is not very techy either so I was rather worried. I did not know she had to accept/confirm receipt so I had to chase her up. She has now bought 2 items - with some advice but this experience could be a lot smoother. I shall certainly think twice about using A4O again.

Worst ever, cant use the gift card even from the list of retailers they provide. Absolutely horrible experience.

I received a £50 One4all gift card from a friend and have been unable to use it despite following all the correct steps.

I'm using it as a Visa card at checkout, I'm shopping with a retailer listed on your supported merchant list (H. Samuel), the card has a confirmed £50 balance, and my purchase total was only about £45 including shipping.

At this point, it genuinely feels like a scam. Buying the card appears to be effortless, yet actually spending it is unnecessarily difficult. If customers can't reliably use the card at participating retailers, the service is failing at its most basic purpose.

Very poor product, impossible to spend online. I have to buy something within the limit of the balance, unable to add more to it so I can spend it. Don't bother with one of these cards, total waste of time and money. Looks like my family have donated money to one4all cards.

Nice choice of cards. Easy to order. Great for giving to a person when you do not know what they might like, this way they can get something they really want.

If i can give -5 i would. I passionately hate this product. You just cant make it worst. TBH the Customer Service team was very good and helpful.

Excellent customer service. I ordered a gift card on Friday morning and it arrived the next day. That’s what I call First Class service.

A waste of time that is designed to stop you spending the full, gifted amount. I would strongly advise you not to gift a One4All card to friends or family. I received a card from a friend and, while the gesture was very much appreciated, I wish they'd gifted a plain gift certificate from a single store instead. I'll explain why.

I'm tech-literate (a software engineer) and the instructions are confusing and incomplete. Unless you plan to spend the money in a bricks and mortar store, it is difficult to spend the full amount on the card. Why? Because:

A) It's not a true gift card, it's treated like a disposable credit card
B) Online retailers do not let you pay for an online transaction using multiple payment method
C) One4All make it very difficult, if not impossible, to use the funds on the card to buy e.g. a gift voucher.

So you either have to buy something that costs less than the balance on the card, letting One4All drain the remaining balance in fees 18 months after activation, or you have to transfer the value of the card into an eGift voucher.

When I finally figured out the correct link to use to convert a gift card into an eGift card, I was met with a cheerful message saying the "sorry this functionality is disabled". So that leaves me with spending the card in-store.

Also, the company do something that is very sketchy: one of the (alleged) ways of transferring your balance into a eGift is done via a completely separate website (sorry, can't link to it as trustpilot disallows it) which ... is not hosted as part of the main one4all domain. I was sure it was a scam, but sure enough, there is a direct link to it buried in the main one4all website.

Why is this bad? It's yet another example of unserious companies training their users to get scammed. Why not add it to the main website so it's clearly affiliated with the same company? No idea. That would be too straightforward and sensible. There's nothing to stop a scammer setting up a similarly-named website and harvesting your card details. Triple-check that it's legitimate before you hand over any details.

Oh and it didn't even work, because I don't have a 19 digit card number. There are 2 x 16 digit numbers, a 12 digit number and a god-knows-how-long serial. No doubt this method only works for a certain sub-class of One4All card, but why do I even have to navigate this nonsense?

There's also a predictable "download our app" (and give us all of your personal information) aspect to it. Do you _need_ an app? Highly doubtful, but companies love it when they can force users into needlessly installing one. I don't want to be coerced into installing an app to spend £15.

Do yourself a favour and cut out the middleman. Give your friend/family member the cash or a gift certificate from a store that you know they like. It's far simpler and they won't have to waste their time figuring out how to do the basics.

If you insist on buying a One4All voucher, make sure the recipient likes spending it in-person (where it's easier to do part-payment) and the shops they like are covered.

But in general just don't.

Digital gift card cannot be added to Apps easily. And the digital gift card cannot be added to Wallet.

I'm being charged 90p a month even if I make no transactions. I'm worried I'm going to run up debt without buying anything. Going to cancel my account & card and notify the FCA.

This is probably the biggest legally allowed scam in the UK. I got a £50 card for Christmas and struggling to spend it. Most of my shopping is online, so you cannot spend over £50, it has to be up to that amount. You cannot split it with a credit card, you cannot top it up and if you spend in stores you have to provide exact amount on card available. Its a complete joke. You're left with small unspendable amounts which they inevitably pocket. AVOID!!!!!

Live in NI can't redeem online.
Limited number of retails accept in NI and I don't live near any. Tried to get refunded into bank account as per online guidelines from one for all but have too many forms to complete and authority needs given before they will do it. Basically stealing money and make it impossible to use.

I hate giving 1 star reviews but ...
I've been given several of these cards as gifts and they are so hard to use. I've tried both in store and online and they are always declined. In store this has happened several times and it's embarrassing, I felt like I was being dishonest. I even tried to use it in the John Lewis that it had been bought in, no luck. It's crazy.

This card is so very easy to buy, online or in shops and post office.
However, try to spend from it on line, or worse try to save to Google wallet, sso you can use Gpay, a bloody nightmare I tried for over 6hrs, does not except it, don't bother, use cash or a bank card.

I had one with a few pound left but couldn't remember the exact balance, so couldn't use the remaining for a long time. By the time I remembered to check the balance online, though still had a couple of months before its expiry day, their system could no longer recognise the card! what a joke! Don't understand why people would want to use it!
