Quick wait time patient doctor

Reception staff is horrible. Constant personal conversations instead of client check in. No privacy for patients. Personal medical questions are asked in front of strangers, complete HIPPA violation. Never on time with appointments.

The staff are all very nice and the waiting room is absolutely amazing for kids. I’ve personally never waited for long for my son to be seen. The dentist explained things clearly so I understood exactly what she was doing. I definitely will be taking my son back there

My dentist is Great it’s the gather that the problem. I called 7 times to date to confirm my balance because they did not send to my dental part after medical paid l. Still no call no information. All I know is about to f I get any type of Collection notice because you guys failed me to contact me it’s going to be a media issue seriously.

always a long wait. had to be rescheduled sometimes. Dental work done on my teeth were criticized by my current dentist.
I was also charged for 4 fillings when I only had three. I left a message for the manager, who never even returned my call. Very poorly managed.

My name is James Baldinger not Andrew Lenski. There is always a long wait when calling your office. When I come there, I always feel like you are trying to up-sell me.

I sat in the waiting room for one hour no one called my name. In addition to the people with no regards for others with they’re loud cell phone usage. They should have signs posted like other respectable physician offices. Eventually I left this is a The Irvington office. Plainfield office is more professional in my opinion.

I have never experienced such rudeness. 1st day there wrong pano up and when I said something the assistant kept saying have a seat. I'm an adult not a little kid and once everything explained Dr said we needed a clearance, it took over a month to have Dr. look at the clearance which was done within a week. Not to mention I called several times and got the run around and couldn't explain things to me. Finall, Dr spoke to me, was abrupt EXTREMEMLY bad and rude experience ever! From Drs to assistant!

Their not bad the dentist are pretty decent

I will publish this twice since I have twins. Honestly, I wish I could zero stars. The facility looks gross and the woman dentist does not speak to clients. She does not look at you, let alone explain what she is finding/doing. Felt bad that I took my kids here. Next open enrollment I am changing dentist even if I have to pay out of pocket I am not coming here.

During my son’s visit he was sat in the wrong room and mistaking for another patient. Once he was placed in the right room the doctor left my son unattended several times

The dentist didn't follow up on my need with my insurance company I needed another decision and he did not honor that now I don't have any bottom teeth I have a problem eating and biting my tongue I was not satisfied with his service

Dental Health Associates is the worst! Let me repeat the WORST! I've been going to them since I was a teenager, not because I wanted to but because I had to. When I had my own daughters I started bringing them there because I thought they had changed and was better but they are so much worst. I've heard so many horror stories. They have even been in the news! The scheduling, the office staff, the doctors... who they just change on you and schedule you with whoever! My dentist I had retired and they didn't even let the clients know! They are rude and very unprofessional! I pay for my insurance through my job and when I go there they treat you like you're on public assistance. They tell you that you can't have a referral for braces because they want you to use there expensive orthodontist for braces. And then give you a hard time when you tell them they have to give you the referral. Many of the offices don't have parking, like in Newark! And they overbook patients, you go to them for a simple cleaning and you are there for 4 hours or more. They are the worst and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Trust me there are so many better dentists out there.

I am never seen at the time of my appointment. Otherwise the service is ok.

The Office staff in the Phillipsburg office is horrible. They don't call you back when you leave a message and the entire office does not know what they are doing. I cannot wait until my son's braces are off. I will never go there after they are off and will not recommend them to anyone.

My dentist sent me to Dental Health Associates in Hamilton to see the oral surgeon because I had pain in a tooth and he could not find any reason for the pain. Since This was the closest oral surgeon to my home , in network, I drove 45 minutes to the practice. I got there and was told that the oral surgeon did not come in and I needed to reschedule my appointment. They did not have the decency to call and let me know.
On the next visit, X-rays were taken at DHA and were inconclusive. I was told that I needed two root canals and crowns because I could not feel cold on area surrounding the pain. I was told to go back to my dentist and have the crowns removed before the oral surgeon would do the procedure. I would then get new crowns after the root canals. The cost would have been over $2000.
My dentist did not like the diagnosis and the fact that the oral surgeon would not drill into the crowns, the procedure that is most often used. He told me to hold off doing anything.
The diagnosis was wrong and I have not had any further pain in my tooth. Had I gone along with the diagnosis that was given without any conclusive evidence of the problem, not only would it have cost me a lot of money but also many unnecessary office visits and discomfort.
After the appointment I was charged a copay, which I do not pay in my dental plan. They refused to listed to me and insisted I pay my $10 copay. It then took me several months of frequent phone calls to get reimbursed for their error.

I have been dealing with Dental Health Associates since I was younger. Now that I'm older with a family of my own the experience of coming here is like a extended family. The appearance may look different but the people and the love is still here.
