​Utterly devastated by this company's greed. Please avoid them.
​I am left feeling completely helpless and defeated by KCOM. Our experience started poorly when they left us without any internet for two weeks when we first moved, ignoring our constant calls for help.
​Now, we’ve achieved a huge milestone and bought our own home, but KCOM is completely ruining what should be a happy time for our family. Because they lack the infrastructure to supply broadband to our new address, they are forcing me to pay a £450 cancellation fee. It feels incredibly unfair to be penalized and financially drained just because they cannot provide a service to my area.
​UPDATE: I tried everything to fix this. I called them to plead my case, but they refused to help. I even pinned my last hopes on raising an Ombudsman case, but nothing changed. In the end, I’ve been forced to hand over £511.81 that I simply cannot afford to lose right now. I feel completely taken advantage of. Please, spare yourself the stress and heartache and stay far away from them.

Even with their comment below asking me to contact them, please don't be fooled—it is clearly just to make themselves look good publicly. I did contact them, ringing multiple people and pleading to bring the cost down, and they still said there is nothing they can do. If I could give ZERO would be ZERO. Absolute SCAM of a company been warned. I went away for few months they agreed to down my contract on the telephone when I got back out of contract charges £87.00 each month for over 3 months. They wouldn’t take any consideration into anything just blamed me for trying to rejoin with another package all though they didn’t even give me the package I was offered as it wasn’t applied to my account so was stuck in out of contract. Was told it’s my job to keep you on with KCOM so we keep you in with a contract not intending out of contract charges MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT IN WRITING BECAUSE IF YOU DONT GOOD LUCK. Rubbish company I’ve made 3 people leave them for this reason of out of contract charges.

Got through to correct person rather than AI sales person good listener when strait to what I require and then talked through details and ended up with appointment not to far away great customer service 👌👍

We spoke with Mac who was extremely helpful and patient. He was determined to find a solution to our problem and is even calling us back in 2 days to check that everything is ok….. thank you Mac

Maybe not the cheapest, but the most reliable service

Every issue I've had they have always been very kind and very helpful, never judged and have always been there to listen too! Never been with such a good internet provider!! Recommend

We have been experiencing problems with our router and I spoke to a KC representative who was in my area. She requested a phone call so firstly I received great customer service from HER. Then received a call next day from Mac. He talked me through resetting my router and other alterations, speed tests etc. he was very patient and kind while I did the walkthrough. He offered to call back another time to see if it has now improved. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

To be honest, the broadband services is very good and have been with them for a number of years.

My main issue is in changing the admin password of the Zyxel XMG3927 router......basically you cant - the web documentation suggests username option under the Maintenance tab but this doesnt exist!! Absolutely ridiculous. Changing the password every so often is a standard security requirement - .

Ordering so easy online and a few minutes after order a lovely lady called to confirm all etc. so far good experience

This company fixed a cable to my private house to supply another house without proper consultation or discussion,they defaced a grade 2 property by actually fixing the cable across the centre of the wall in full view.Connected the cable to another house owners box outside their property.All you get is customer services and someone will get back to you.You don’t use someone’s else’s property to fix cables to because you can’t be bothered to install internet directly in the correct manner.3 days I have been trying to speak to someone to remove the cable and pay to repair my brickwork.Despite someone coming out you are still refusing to accept responsibility and remove the cable.It appears getting a contract is more important than defacing someone’s house

Everything happened as planned.
Polite and tidy installers. They explained everything and we discussed where the line would go throug my garden. They removed a few block paving tiles, they were replaced correctly.

Staff excellent very helpful and friendly.

phone call answered promptly all charges explained clearly cancellation of previous supplier taken out of my hands nothing else for me to do except wait for new connection
