Not work friendly delivery nor to room as told
I was told by John Lewis that the 19 kg mirror would be delivered to a room of my choice. But the person who delivered it was only authorised to deliver it to my hallway. Far too heavy and big for me by myself to be able to lift it upstairs. Also by only providing the day before delivery really is insufficient. Thankfully for me, I was able to accommodate the three hour window that they said, but that was more by luck. There is no opportunity to book this in advance. If you can’t make that one time scale for the following day, then the timer starts and you have to wait another 3 to 5 days before getting notified of another time period for the following day. Really poor and it’s something that I would never do again with John Lewis or JBL.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to expect your mirror to be delivered to a room of your choice, only to find that the delivery could only be completed to the hallway. We appreciate that, at around 19kg and being a large mirror, it would not have been practical for you to move it upstairs safely on your own. However, we would need to be told by the retailers to be able to put deliveries in room of choice we would need to be initiated.
We’re disappointed that the service provided did not match your expectations, and we’ll make sure your feedback is shared with the relevant team for review, particularly around delivery requirements and customer communication.

The delivery gentleman rang me before to confirm delivery & was on time. The person was polite and asked me where I would like my furniture, couldn't do enough for you. The whole experience with this company has bern amazing which communication along the way. I actually said to my husband what a good company to deal with after our delivery.

In fact it's less than 1* - my delivery from Durivon Bathrooms was cancelled mid delivery - wrong size of shower doors ordered. Both myself and Durivon have been requesting the return of this item for nearly 3 weeks !!! I call every morning only to be told that the package will bedelivered that dame day !!! It's all been lies !!! Nobody seems to have any idea where these shower doors are and I'm waiting for a refund which I won't get until Durivon receive them back !!!
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY !!!!

We’re also sorry that you were given assurances that the item would be collected or returned on the same day, only for this not to happen. Not equipped for lifting or moving heavy items
Day arranged satisfactorily, 24 hour notice, great, pre drop off phone call, just right! All done within the agreed time slot. Delivery team, woefully equipped. 2 men struggled to manually lift 104kg cooker from rear of vehicle. No trolley/wheels/dolly to move item from roadway to property. Struggled to lift! Zero confidence they could complete the move into my property without issue so agreed I would complete it myself
