What a great service from a delivery…
What a great service from a delivery company like this. Kept me informed at every step of the delivery. Cannot fault them at all, they telephoned and text to let me know the exact time they would arrive. The delivery guys were extremely respectful of my property and even put the delivery into my living room.. cannot recommend them highly enough.

Received a date and time slot pretty quickly from them and they arrived just over an hour earlier than the beginning of my time slot which was great. In no time they built my bed up and away they went. Very efficient service and pleasant chaps who came. (sorry didn't get your names).

Lateness
They did not communicate to keep me updated on the day of arrival, it would have been nice if they kept me updated; for example if they were going to be late. I made sure to be home for the time slot they gave me 2pm to 5pm, they rang me at 5pm to at they were running late and if I wanted to reschedule, I didn’t want to reschedule as I’ve already saying that long. But the service they delivered when they came was good, they assembled all 3 beds on time and cleared out the rubbish.

We understand the frustration that this delay has caused you. we apologise you were not updated. We appreciate you making yourself available for your 2pm-5pm timeslot. We will take your feedback on board to improve our communication with customers when delays occur. Sometimes, traffic delays cause very long delays for our delivery drivers.

I want to express how disappointed I…
I want to express how disappointed I was with the two man delivery, I paid to have the bed built which was an extra £50 paid this , I sleep in the room above my daughter which was an extra 10 steps , the two delivery drivers turned up at 3.30 great looked exhausted, the main man simply said sorry we only take up one flight I pleaded and pleaded as the dd phoned office they agreed to to build the bed but not take the mattress upstairs as 1 they said to time consuming 2-health and safety 3 don’t do stairs , I will not be able to sleep in bed tonight as I will have to wait until someone can take mattress up for myself !! What’s the point in paying the £50 if u have to get someone else round anyway ???? Bed is lovely however the dd has drilled the bottom leg on squint and it looks terrible

We understand your frustration, particularly regarding the mattress not being taken upstairs after you had paid for the assembly service. Our teams have to follow health and safety procedures when carrying items upstairs, but we appreciate that this was frustrating, especially when you were expecting the full service to be completed.
We’re also sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the bottom leg of the bed. This is not the standard we expect from our assembly service, and we would like the opportunity to look into this properly and put things right where appropriate.

Great delivery company
Was kept informed of expected delivery during the process, the delivery guys phoned with expected time and when they were 5 minutes away. When arrived they were respectful of the property and moved item where I asked. Only negative is that you can't select a delivery day to suit your needs they only contact you you the day before, not a problem in this case as I was WFH anyway but not ideal for many people. Thanks for a job well done on this one though guys I appreciate it 👍

Absolutely appalling service
I have never experienced such a disorganised and unprofessional delivery service.
We ordered a bed and JBS currently have it in their possession. They supposedly attempted delivery on Wednesday, but when they arrived they claimed they didn’t have “enough information” and apparently didn’t have our address — despite the fact that our full address is already in their system. As a result, they couldn’t deliver the bed and said they would try again on Friday.
Friday came and we received no communication whatsoever about the delivery. I had to call JBS five times throughout the day just to find out what was happening.
The first person I spoke to in the morning said she would find out what was happening and call me back. She never did. Over an hour later, I called again and another member of staff told me it would be delivered that day, but she didn’t know what time. She said she would confirm the time and let me know, and that if she didn’t call, I should call back.
I then called twice around 3pm — no one answered. I tried again about an hour later, only to find that the phone line had closed. There was no alternative number or any other way of contacting anyone.
Then, at around 5:30pm, the delivery team finally arrived — with absolutely no prior notice of their arrival time.
They came into the room and could see that we had our old bed frame still in the room. We had been given no delivery time, no warning and no opportunity to arrange for someone to help us move it. The old frame was something I could not physically move out of the room by myself.
The delivery drivers then told us they couldn’t deliver or install the new bed because they didn’t have time, as they had another delivery to attend.
We explained that we had never been given a delivery time, that it would literally take a couple of minutes with a little assistance to move the old frame out of the way, and then they could bring the new bed in and install it. They still refused to help, refused to deliver the bed and simply left.
This is particularly ridiculous considering this was supposedly their second attempt at delivering the exact same bed. How can a company attempt a delivery twice, fail to communicate with the customer, provide no delivery time, and then arrive so late that they apparently don’t have enough time to actually complete the delivery?
And to make matters even worse, we have now received an email from JBS saying that the bed has been delivered — when they have literally just left with our bed and it is still in their possession.
This whole experience has been unbelievably frustrating and completely unacceptable. The lack of communication, organisation and basic customer service has been shocking.
JBS still have our bed. Hopefully they eventually manage to deliver it, but after this experience, once the bed is finally delivered, we will never use their services again and absolutely would not recommend JBS to anyone.
If you are given a choice of courier, I would seriously recommend using someone else.

We completely understand your frustration. Having a failed first delivery, followed by a lack of communication regarding the second attempt, meant that you were left having to contact us repeatedly just to find out what was happening. We’re particularly sorry that the promised call-backs did not take place and that you were unable to get through when you tried to contact us later in the day.
We also appreciate how frustrating it must have been for the delivery team to arrive without providing you with a confirmed delivery time, only to then be unable to complete the delivery because of time constraints. We understand that this left you in a very difficult position, particularly as you had not been given the opportunity to prepare the room beforehand.
This is clearly not the level of service or communication we expect to provide to our customers, and we’re sorry for the frustration, inconvenience and disappointment this experience has caused.
We would like to further investigate this matter so please don't hesitate to contact us so that we can investigate and sort this out.
