DO NOT TRAVEL WITH A DOG ON THE FERRY

I took the ferry from Genoa to Barcelona. Firstly they didn't know where I should drive in with my car and were yelling around at each other and send me all over the place. That was bearable.

Please please please IF you have a dog, drive there IF at all possible, DO NOT take the ferry with your dog. I thought it would be nicer for him as he gets to stay with me in the cabin and we can go out on deck to pee and poop. But the deck was a disgrace! Is it really that difficult to put some artificial grass or something in the dog area? How can you make a dog pee and poop on a normal floor, it's disgusting and most dogs wont't do it as they learned NOT to do it.

Then I know it gets slippery on deck and I was careful, nevertheless if you are only wearing tennis shoes, you have no chance on the stairs. I slipped and fell really badly on the metal stairs. My trip was a week ago today and I still cannot walk properly, I'm brutally bruised.

And when it was ready for check-out I was told that I have late check-out at 3pm as I have a dog, they knocked at least 3 times on my door from 2pm-3pm telling me to check out.

I swear that I will never take the ferry again, I will rather dive 16 hours or more. Way better for me and my dog.

Also, if you cancel and you bought the cancellation insurance, you still get charged and then they send you an email with a name who you have to contact... I had to google them and look for contact information as it was not included in the email. I cancelled my first trip 2 weeks ago as I thought I would drive and then decided to take the ferry after all. I'm still waiting for my refund... Unbelievable!!

Personale alla reception per niente disponibile,abbiamo modificato un biglietto on Line,aggiungendo un passaggio ponte e un carrello,erroneamente è stato inserito nella suite già acquistata facendoci pagare un biglietto di 167 euro nella stessa suite, per quanto riguarda l’andata PA/TN avendo prenotato sempre una suite, saliti sulla nave, apprendiamo che per problemi tecnici la nave era stata sostituita con un altra E che nella stessa non c’erano suite (che avevo già pagato)
alla reception ci comunicano che non c’era nulla da fare non concedendoci alcun rimborso.Per non parlare delle attese disumane che-kin ore 21 partenza ore 04,30.Sconsigliatissimo

Reservamos un viaje con Balearia y estaba operado por GNV. Todo muy bien hasta que entramos en el barco.
Ibamos con dos gatos y cogimos camarote, se ve que le dieron nuestro camarote a otra persona, nos dieron otro, pero había más personas que estaban en la misma situación que nosotros.
Una vez fuimos al camarote, tenia uñas por el suelo, comida, el techo del baño lleno de mosquitos pegados. El aire acondicionado no iba, fuimos a quejarnos, y nos dijeron que vendrían, spoiler NO VINIERON. Hacia un calor horrible y mas con los gatos.
En el restaurante y bar la comida pésima, terminabas antes preguntando que les quedaban.
El personal te pasaba de un lado a otro para no cargar el muerto.
A la hora de salir con el coche llegamos a las 6:15 a Ibiza y hasta las 7 nos dejaron en el loft todos acumulados con gatos y perros, y el barco atracado en el puerto ya.

Nunca mas , no se lo recomiendo a nadie y menos si viajas con mascotas o personas mayores.

La lentezza del viaggio in mare è un momento fantastico di rilassamento rispetto allo stress di qualunque altro mezzo di viaggio.

D'abord j'aime les italiens/nes, ensuite le service restaurant et cafétéria est très honnête, le personnel est Souvent accueillant, parfois le prix des plats est élevé.

GNV servizio non ha risposto alle mie riclemazioni per più di 8 mesi. Non ce ne sono parole!

Buona esperienza buona l'azienda

I have just taken a trip from Palma de Mallorca to Barcelona. I found the staff good. EXCEPT, when I reached Barcelona... I am a man of 66 years of age. I was travelling with 2x heavy bags. In Palma 2 crew members help me carry my luggage up the loading ramp. BUT... The off loading staff in Barcelona stood back and watched me struggle down the off ramp with my luggage... making negative comments but not offering to help.
NEGATIVE, BAD, DISGUSTING

They told us we should be in the port 2 hours before, so one is expecting to board during these 2 hours and just wait to sail away. Instead we waited until the very last moment to enter and all of a sudden everyone was in a hurry for us to move. In the cabin there was no warm water so having a shower wasn't a option anymore. In the morning they told us that we will be arriving 1 hour earlier and demanded from us to leave the cabins in 15mins. The stuff started to talk loud outside our cabins and clapping for us to get out. I think next step was to start hitting a pot with a spoon. So they got us out in a rush and in the end we just arrived on time. Not 1 hour earlier. And to top it of, we were waiting to get out for almost 1 hour after the predicted arriving time. I wouldn't mind all this if the ticket wasn't costing as much as it did.

Chaos beim Einschiffen und Ausschiffen! Essenqualität schlecht und Preise zu hoch. Keine Kulanz für nicht genutzten Gutschein. GNV nie wieder.

Un disabile e mio fratello siamo stati abbandonati poi le agenzie di viaggio non hanno i moduli per mandare a questa fatiscente compagnia i format mandati a me via mail mentre ho provato a chiamare Genova mi sono ritrovato da solo mi hanno deriso al bar avevo bisogno d'acqua e mi e costato 3.€80 centesimi all'andata Palermo - Napoli non mi potevo muovere ci fanno partire con avverse condizioni Meteo ,poi dopo che stamattina arriviamo a Palermo mi mandano un modulo da riempire , dovete cambiare politica altrimenti andate via da Palermo che vergogna che sporcizia non mi hanno dato nemmeno un bicchiere d'acqua per prendere le gocce per la mia patologia . Ciarpame..

Report au lendemain, beaucoup de voyageurs n’ont pas été prévenus, imaginez la déception. On nous demande de se présenter à 10h du matin et nous sommes rentrés dans le bateau à 1h30 du matin +15h d’attente au port d’Alger. On nous annonce que la traversée durera 2 jours au lieu d’1 journée, nous avons été pris en otage sans nous donner le choix.Aucun geste commercial n’a été fait, ni excuses du retard de 15heures. Départ le 12 , arrivée le 14 février à 15h.Les voyageurs n’était pas organisés pour cette durée de voyage et le comble ils ont retirés les micro ondes prétextant qu’ils ne fonctionnaient pas. Ils vous obliges de consommer, la qualité du self et médiocre mais les pizzas étaient bonnes. Bateau était vétuste mais propre, les parties extérieures étaient sales et pas nettoyé durant la traversée et rien pour s’asseoir. Le ressenti des voyageurs: que nous avons mal traités et pas respectés nous attendions un meilleur service.
