My experience was nothing but amazing , obviously I was upset because this wasn’t my fault I wasn’t even in the car when it got damaged , I was going on holiday the week after so repairs had to be halted until I came back ., all was straight forward great communication through out and my car was only away 10 day

Poor communication and repeated delays throughout my claim.

I have been advised to email for updates, but responses are inconsistent or not provided, meaning I have had to chase multiple times with very little clear information in return.

The ongoing delay has resulted in significant financial pressure, including continued rental costs while the claim remains unresolved.

I am still waiting for this to be properly concluded and would recommend caution based on my experience.

Great company, female friendly too.. nothing was too much trouble for these guys … feels like a family run business as the team in Chelmsford really go the extra mile.. would recommend 100%..

I am writing this to warn others of the systemic failures I have experienced over the last four months. My vehicle has been returned three times with unresolved life-safety faults (Braking Power Low/Hybrid Malfunction).The insurer’s latest "Final Decision" claims the car is safe following a road test, yet the technical report provided shows identical Mileage In and Out, proving no road test occurred. They have identified a critical high-voltage communication fault (Code U117B87) but attempted to return the vehicle as "fixed" without driving it a single mile.Worse than the technical incompetence is the conduct of the staff. I have been:

Mocked and laughed at by staff when disclosing anxiety-related needs regarding a replacement vehicle.

Threatened and coerced by a case handler who attempted to cancel my hire insurance to force me to accept the untested vehicle.

Lied to about the existence of a complaints department to prevent escalation.

I have spent over 6 hours chasing updates and received 30+ conflicting automated messages. I have now formally referred this entire matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service (Ref: PNX-6026356-Y0L3). I will not be silenced or bullied into driving an unsafe car. Avoid this company at all costs.

Generally good service, the repair workshop and replacement vehicle company were excellent.
My only issue is the poor comms and clunky portal during the FMG process itself.

FMG did a great job of managing the repairs to my car and providing me with a courtesy car. Everyone I dealt with throughout the process was very helpful and polite. I very much enjoyed speaking to humans rather than simply logging onto a portal. I know this suits some people but I prefer dealing with humans. The hire team, the repairers and FMG staff were all great to work with.

Very efficient and competent, repair was carried out over three days and did a fantastic job.

Anna Roe was very helpful especially in connection with my embarrassing arrival to leave my car with FMG and collect a courtesy car only to realise I had ‘lost’my driving license, which I did eventually find, thankfully!
I am pleased to have my car back, which looks like new. Thank you FMG.

Saga Fmg and enterprise were all brilliant and very good at what they do.

Dealing with this company is like pushing water uphill. Cancelled the windscreen replacement appointment on me twice, even though I’d had to take time off work to have it done. Completely indifferent when I complained. The windscreen replacement engineer was a credit, hence the one star, but the payment - they reserved funds from my account. Didn’t action the request and about three weeks later, out the blue, just took the money. Awful experience - only reason I used them was because it was through my insurer. Beware

I had a very disappointing experience with FMG Vehicle Recovery. The service was extremely slow, and despite being told that my car would be recovered from Penllain Garage by the end of last week, this has still not happened.
There has been poor communication throughout, with no clear updates or explanation for the delay. We are now heading into the weekend and a bank holiday, which will likely cause even further delays.
This lack of reliability and follow-through is unacceptable, especially in a situation where timely vehicle recovery is important. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
