I’ve rented 2 times from expedicar, and I was pleased to discover that they’ve maintained the same level from last year. This is an excellent rental agency that goes above and beyond for you. I will definitely come back.

Everything was perfect. The staff knew English and they were very helpful. The car was in perfectly working order. Everything was clean. The price was extremely fair for what u get. I recommend strongly.

I rented with ExpediCar from Otopeni Airport and it was smooth from start to finish. Andrei was professional and courteous. The car was new, clean, and comfortable—ideal for my trip. Great service overall!

By far the WORST rental car. They are scammers!!! Don’t use them. I have rented cars for 40 years all over the world. After pushing us very strongly to get full insurance, which we declined, they literally made up things when we returned the car. They claimed there was a scratch on the wheel and bumper (which you cannot see in your naked eye) and demanded full replacement. They also demanded that we clean the car through a car wash! Since when does the customer run a car through car wash? They also gave us a car half full. Do not use them!!!

This is a SCAM COMPANY !
They will charge you for fake damages , you will lose your deposit . The cars are very bad condition , not very safe to drive!

Extremely disappointing experience. I rented a car from Expedicar and was later charged for a superficial paint mark that I did not cause. Although I disputed the charge immediately, the company refused to consider my position or conduct a fair review. They claimed that my signature on the return form was an admission of guilt — which it was not — and proceeded to demand payment without any objective evidence beyond their own documentation.

The so-called “damage” was so minor that it doesn’t even appear in a clear photo I took of the car from just 2 meters away at the time of return. This shows how insignificant the mark truly was — if it was even new at all. I believe this charge is unjustified and disproportionate.

A formal complaint has been filed with ANPC (Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor) due to the company’s aggressive and unfair approach to handling damage claims. I strongly advise future customers to take detailed photos and videos at pick-up and drop-off, and to be extremely cautious when dealing with Expedicar.

Okropne doświadczenie... Wypożyczając od nich auto staraliśmy się zrobić jak najbardziej szczegółowe zdjęcia każdego uszkodzenia. A przed oddaniem auta musieliśmy je umyć, bo inaczej czekałaby nas opłata dodatkowa 80€.
Gdy przyjechaliśmy oddać auto dwóch pracowników zaczęło uważnie je przeglądać. Zaczęli doszukiwać się najmniejszych uszkodzeń, które udawało nam się odeprzeć zdjęciami, które wykonaliśmy przy odbiorze. W końcu znaleźli na przodzie auta praktycznie niewidoczną rysę, która nie była widoczna na zdjęciach z odbioru oraz niby małe uszkodzenia szyby... Obu rzeczy nie można było się dopatrzeć na zdjęciach z odbioru i co najlepsze sami pracownicy wypożyczalni nie umieli odpowiednio udokumentować tych "uszkodzeń" na zdjęciach. Sytuacja była wręcz abstrakcyjna. Wypożyczaliśmy auta już kilkukrotnie na wyjazdach za granicą i nigdy nie spotkaliśmy się z takim zachowaniem ze strony pracowników wypożyczalni. Jest to ewidetny scam. Wisienką na torcie było to, że jak wyszliśmy z wypożyczalni pracownicy zaczęli się śmiać.
Nie wiem jakim cudem można pracować w firmie, która tak oszukuje. Karma wraca panowie...

I recommend avoiding it. The company imposes fines for even the smallest scratches that occur during the use of the car (grains of sand, insects) that the driver has no influence on. They explain this by saying that the roads in Romania are of poor quality and that we should buy more expensive insurance

SCAM. The company is charging extra for damages that are not visible. Just read all the 1 star reviews. All the 5 star reviews here and on google are probably fake. The final rating may be good but it's a scam. I recommend avoiding at all costs.

Serio unikaj, bo szkoda kasy i nerwów.

Scans, don’t rent from them!
They inspect car like in a lab and will always find a tiny scratch (or they’ll make one themselves on spot - like they did to me) and charge you for it.
Pushy and rude, do not rent from them no matter how cheap rent it may look.

State attenti è una truffa, abbiamo noleggiato la macchina a basso costo aereoporto di Bucarest Otopeni (attirando il pollo di turno) ovviamente ti propongono una loro assicurazione da 200€ circa e se tu non lo fai al rientro si presenta un tizio losco e arrogante addebitandoti il lavaggio della macchina nonostante la ricevuta in mano,pagato 270 Lei (50€) dicendo che la macchina è sporca,poi con un faro da 200w a led ispeziona la macchina trovando micro difetti ovviamente già mirati perché invisibile ad occhio e ti contestano il tutto,in poche parole siamo stati truffati da evitare

Occhio alla truffa!!!! Leggete attentamente le recensioni negative perché lo specchio della realtà. Come tutti si è attirati dal prezzo onesto del noleggio, ma attenzione se non comprate la polizza assicurativa da loro al momento della riconsegna vi contesteranno qualsiasi cosa. No, non difetti grossi cos’è piccolissime che inevitabilmente non vedrete. Su una Skoda Fabia sarei in grado di dirvi cosa vi contestano subito… guardate bene, anzi no benissimo il parabrezza ( così magari sappiamo se questi signori lo sostituiscono). Lavate la macchina subito prima di riportarla e nel parcheggio, lucidatela perché loro vi contestano anche lo sporcho inevitabile che si fa camminando sulla strada. Se poi nel tragitto è piovuto, ma da loro no ( e pare ke da loro non piova mai 🤣) allora non avete speranza dite addio al deposito cauzionale. All’arrivo i ragazzi si destreggiano bene a farsi capire quando riconsegnerete la macchina niente, nessuno capisce la vostra spiegazione (🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️) comunque quasi il 50% di recensioni negative non è uno scherzo!!! Vuol dire che uno su due viene truffato allo stesso modo!!! Buona România a tutti ma attenti a queste cose!!!!

Expedicar en el aeropuerto de Bucarest es una auténtica estafa. Al recoger el vehículo casi te obligan a coger un seguro con ellos. Nosotros habíamos cogido uno p la web y como dijimos que no necesitábamos otro se enfadaron, y nos trataron mal. A la entrega después de haber lavado el coche nos dijeron q la alfombrilla del conductor no estaba bien limpia, y que estaba rallado el asiento del conductor y copiloto por la zona inferior nunca se nos ocurrió hacer foto de esa parte por lo q no podemos demostrar lo contrario). Por ello nos han cobrado 380 euros 2.000 lei. Un robo y una estafa porque encima no puedes discutir mucho dado q el tiempo era limitado ya que teníamos q coger el vuelo.

Sono poco seri, affittano auto a basso prezzo (meno di 10 euro al giorno) e quando uno riconsegna l'auto se non ci si è cautelati con una loro costosa assicurazione (2 giorni 120 euro) trovano i peli nell'uovo (graffi insignificanti, non visibili dalle foto fatte all'affitto dell'auto) per addebitare cifre da capogiro sull'acconto bloccato sulla carta di credito. Poi offrono una mediazione pari a circa 1/3 della cifra addebitata con sblocco immediato sulla carta. Nel mio caso, per 3 piccoli graffi, non visibili dalle foto scattate all'atto del ritiro dell'auto hanno preteso un rimborso di circa 1500 euro scontato poi a 400 euro. Un vero raggiro al limite del legale. Sconsiglio fortemente l'affitto auto presso exepicar aeroporto di Optopeni Romania.

Charged 400 RON for driver car mat not been cleaned on a heavy rainy day. Even the person who pick up the car he said : "is okay, on this weather can't be cleaned".Sent emails back with no reply. Do not rent from them.

Am avut o experiență foarte bună cu această companie.Recomand produsul de S-CDW+.

They have new cars with a lot of options. I had a hybrid C300 which i really loved. Car had 1000 km, brand new. Loved it.
