I had booking on Lublin airport. They have 2 flights arrivals per hour. My flight was delayed. When I arrived at the desk being an hour late I was informed that my booking was automatically cancelled. But they have spare car at parking for me but I have to pay new booking fees 5 times the amount I originally paid. I said no, thank you. And managed to book with another car company similar to my original price.Bit rip off.

i booked a car through the website'carwiz.pl', few weeks later my plans changed (still few days before scheduled pick up), so according to the t&c i could still cancel and get back a full refund,
so i cancled, and passed few weeks already, and no refund!
i called them up, the guy the other side of the phone told me i need to send an email to the main office,so i did so, but no reply from them.

I'm a single female travelling alone and id pre-booked with full insurance cover via holiday extras.
On arrival I was told that my own credit card didn't match my name because my card only included the initial of my first name. I showed the assistant my Barclaycard app which matched my card number and my full name (and also my name in initials on the statements). This still wasn't accepted and the only way the rental company would release the car was by purchasing their insurance for an extra £55 (as they said the one I'd pre-booked wouldn't be valid). The only method i had available to pay with was the same credit card, which funnily enough they accepted for that payment 🤷
Being late at night I felt I had no other choice than to pay the extra and feel like I've been conned.
I've had the same credit card for over 20 years and used it to hire cars countless times before, never having had a problem with other companies including small independent car hire and also larger well known companies.
I will NEVER use car wizz again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Dwukrotnie wynajmowalem samochod u nich i dwukrotnie zostalem obciazony kosztami za rzekome uszkodzenia. Filia w Rzeszowie. Za pierwszym razem doszukali sie zadrapan i odciazyli mnie kosmiczna suma choc podczas wynajmu nie zanotowalem incydentow ani uszkodzen. Za drugim razem wykazali uszkodzenie ktore juz bylo widoczne na zdjeciach z dnia wynajmu. Gdy napisalem reklamacje za pierwszym razem jej nie uwzgedniono, za drugim razem wogole nie odpowiedzeli na emaila. Z przykroscia stwierdzam ze to zalosne. Nigdy wiecej nie wynajme u nich juz samochodu. Wspolczuje takiego etosu pracy i pazernosci na kase.

Naciągacze, oddają brudny samochód, po czym przy odbiorze we 2 osoby pół godziny chodzią wokół samochodu, żeby coś znaleźć i skasować klienta. Bez szans nawet jak zrobisz 1500 zdjęć i tak coś znajdą(na siłę oczywiście czego nie sposób wcześniej dostrzec), więc omiaj scamwiz z daleka to jedyna opcja na wygraną. Wątpie, że jest gorsza firma od tego kału.

Ta firma będzie dodawać dodatkowe koszty wynajmu, i próbować obwinić Cie za istniejące uszkodzenia auta.
Wynajołem auto on nic przez internet, dostałem całkowitą cene i zapłaciłem, ku mojemu zdziwieniu w momecie wynajmu dostałem dodatkowy rachunek an wynajem.poza godzinami pracy!! Przecież podczas rezerwacji podalem godziny, i potem tosamo podczas zwrotu auta, dodatkowe koszty!! Pozatym osoba odbierajaca i sprawdzajaca auto, chciała obwinic mnie za istniejace uszkodzenie auta, juz ugadywal wszystko z biurem, naszczescie dla mnie mialem zdjęcia auta z dnia wynajmu, więc byłem wstanie udowodnić że to uszkodzenie istniało. Unikajcie tej firmy, naciągają.

In short:
Person at the desk - unprofessional not really known what they do
Had to pick up car from different category group as they didn't have availability in car group we have booked
Charged cleaning fee for returning clean car
When returning car and drop off keys no one came to take us to the airport we had to organise transport ourselves
When contract costumer service with our bad experience they replied that they have right to do it as in contract
Overall bad experience definitely not going to use this company again
There are many other companies with much better online reviews in the same price range to use

Professional and very polite. Im not sure whats with all the bad reviews but I certainly had a great experience.

Pickup and drop off was quick and stress-free. Shuttle bus was quick, and available.

Its quite simple, read the terms and conditions, pay the full insurance if you’re happy and don't give bad reviews if its your own fault for accepting the terms without reading.

I got a nice new car, clean on the inside and out. Will rent from carwiz again.

Very efficient but They made me pay more because the name in ID didnt match the ryanair flight (its obvious i wouldnt put my 5 names on a ryanair ticket)

Odbiór z małym zgrzytem(11.02.26.) .Dostałam auto które nie zamawiałam,ale to przebolałam,natomiast zwrot auta to była czysta katastrofa. W dniu zwroto 18.02. godz. 8.00 W Biurze nikogo niebyło "0 "informacji . Obcy człowik uświadomił mnie że z punktualąścią to tu jest na bakier, ponć nawcześnij kto zjawia się około 8.30-9.00 Nie potrzebny stres. Inna dobra dusza podrzuciła mnie na lotnisko. Klucz wrzuciłam do skrzynki pocz. Będąc już na lotnisku dostałam sms że zostaję obciążona karą za oddanie brudnego auta 102 zł. Zaznaczam że nikt mnie nie informował że mam oddać kompletnie czyste auto. Auto umyłam w przeddzień powrotu na myjni sama od siebie.Posiadam rachunek z myjni z datą i godz. Ale jak tu oddać czyste auto w zimie i w taką pogodę(18 luty).przypominam że niebyło nikogo kto by zwrócił nato uwagę. Uważam to za nieuczciwe i celowe działanie na szkodę klienta. Oczekuję zwrotu pieniędzy i przeprosin.

Scammers! Made us pay extra tell us the deposit will be back in your account in 3-5 days and 2months passed!! And no reply from them! Please do not rent from this company!!

Esta fuera del aeropuerto, te tienen que recoger y traer, hemos tenido que entregar el coche con antelación para que pudiesen llevarme al aeropuerto, pues están hasta las 20 horas, si les llamas tal vez pueden esperarte 1 hora mas...
Te hacen pagar por la limpieza del vehículo, si no lo traes limpio, al final cuesta mas que otra compañía con mejores condiciones y en el aeropuerto.
Atención, si tu tarjeta de pago caduca antes de 3 meses, no te la aceptan, necesitan mínimo 3 meses en vigor, cosa que no entiendo porque el pago lo haces en el momento.

I rented a car from Carwiz.pl attracted by a seemingly incredible price — £10 for 4 days. Unfortunately, in my experience, this turned out to be a classic bait-and-switch situation, where the real profit is made after the rental.

At pick-up, there was no staff present. After waiting, a man named Erik appeared. From the start, the atmosphere was unpleasant: aggressive pressure to buy extra insurance, additional fees, and a general “pay more or else” attitude — exactly what many negative reviews already describe.

Because I had read those reviews beforehand, I documented the car very carefully at pick-up, taking photos and videos. I did this knowing that customers are often charged for scratches during return.

As expected, at drop-off Erik claimed there were two scratches on the rear door — even though three scratches were already clearly visible at pick-up. He focused entirely on charging for them and ignored everything else. What raised serious concern was that he already had a photo of the same door, allegedly taken after the damage occurred, but refused to properly show or zoom in on it, saying it “needed verification”.

A few days after leaving Poland, I was charged £160 for microscopic, surface-level scratches — not real damage, just cosmetic marks.

At this point, the pattern became clear. No company can realistically make money renting a car for £10 for 4 days, so the profit appears to come later, through post-return damage charges. Exactly as I expected, the “cheap” rental price was only the beginning.

I filed a formal complaint and initiated a chargeback, which is currently in progress.

I am sharing this review to warn other customers. Based on my experience, this rental company — especially at Rzeszów Airport — should be avoided.

OSZUŚCI. Nie bierzcie u nich auta!!! Trzech mężczyzn z latarkami przeszukali całe auto. Mikroskopijna ryska kosztowała mnie 240 euro.

Świetna obsługa klienta ,samochod rewelacja!,gorąco polecam tą firmę!

We booked the car using Expedia, excellent customer service throughout. The lads on collection were pleasant and informative and made it very easy. The car was a Hyundai i30 and clean throughout. We had an additional driver and opted for the full cover. We phoned for the shuttle from outside the Marriott (opposite the airport terminal) it was there within five minutes. The collection/drop-off point is less than a five minute drive from there.
We returned the car late evening (23:40) the day before so telephoned the office. Spoke Amanda Stefańska (lovely lady) she was due to finish her shift but said she would wait for us to arrive and even dropped us to our hotel around the corner.
Overall the prices are unbeatable, my deposit was returned within minutes of dropping the car off and they provide first class service.

Malheureusement, je ne recommande pas cet endroit. Le personnel avec lequel j'ai eu affaire, deux personnes en particulier, était désagréable et insensible. Nous avons été très mal traités. Premièrement, lors de la réservation, il était indiqué que la voiture devait être récupérée à l'aéroport. Or, après avoir contacté l'agence, j'ai dû prendre le bus. Deuxièmement, malgré le fait que mon heure d'arrivée était prévue et que j'étais à l'heure, j'ai malheureusement dû attendre 50 minutes avant que la voiture ne soit prête, et il faisait -15 °C. Troisièmement, lors de l'inspection du véhicule, nous avons signalé la présence de rayures supplémentaires sur la voiture, en plus de celles mentionnées dans le rapport de prise en charge. La personne nous a répondu que les rayures invisibles à l'œil nu n'étaient pas considérées comme des dommages. Or, nous avons été facturés pour une simple rayure, et croyez-moi, le coût était exorbitant et disproportionné. Je ne ferai plus jamais appel à leurs services. Je déconseille fortement cette agence de location à tous mes amis.
