This company is a scam. Do not trust them. They are not based in the local town you have googled, the flowers are extremely poor quality and the bouquets dispatched do not match the pictures on their website. You will get a better bunch of flowers from your local garage or dairy!! Trying to get a refund is like getting blood from a stone. they are an absolute bunch of idiots.

Firstly, Bloomex pretends to be Mels Flowers based wherever you are doing a search for a Florist for. I ordered a bunch of flowers for a friend whose father had passed away. I asked for same day delivery and about 3 hours later had a call from a person who was hard to understand who said that they had no fresh flowers left and the delivery would be tomorrow. They offered a gift of a teddy bear or box of chocolates which I explained was not really appropriate in the circumstances. Next thing, I get notified that the delivery has been despatched from Auckland!! To cut a long story short, they arrived 3 days later, half dead and brown and nothing like the picture. Shame on you Bloomex preying on people like this. Please do not use this company.

Wish I had read all the reviews before I ordered.
Placed an order for next day delivery, paid in full, only to be rung and told they wouldnt deliver until a day later. As a birthday gift day late delivery completely defeats the point of sending flowers. They refused to refund my money.
Will never use this company again

After 2weeks of non delivery and more than 10 emails of promises and 4phone calls which I got disconnected from, the flowers I sent for condolences are apparently still in transit.
Do not ever ever use them. Completely unreliable, rude and hopeless people who really don’t care about you should never be trusted to make a boquet, let alone be trusted to actually send it to the right people on time. Worst thing is they are still promising to deliver the flowers (same bouquet, 2 weeks old)
Buyers beware

My daughter paid just shy of $100 for a bunch of flowers that were supposed to be accompanied by a personalised note, letting me know that I was about to become a grandmother again. She also paid extra for same day delivery. The 'bunch' arrived the following day and included 4 roses and a piece of fernery. Two blank cards were included. We are mortified and regrettably this is the second time Bloomex have failed us. The first time was Mother's Day 2026. My son paid $180 for what should have been a very impressive show. It was far from it. I will never encourage anyone to purchase from Bloomex and will do everything I can to let all my friends and family know. Bloody ripoffs.

My review would be in line with everyone else's. Flowers delivered were not those ordered, and the bouquet was really quite sad in terms of size. It was delivered about 3 weeks late. Customer service is a laugh - presumably AI-generated rubbish response that doesn't even respond to the query sent.

BEWARE! Do NOT use this company. Receiving an anniversary reminder this week has reignited my fury with this company. Reading the article in the herald last week on this company im still wondering why bloomex has never been investigated. The bunch I thought I ordered was nothing of sorts. A couple of pathetic stems that looked lifeless. Not delivered same day although ordered well in advance of cut off and paid extra. No card delivered that I also ordered. My mum had no idea who they were from. This pathetic company only added to our grief. Once home I went to a local florist to make up for this embarrassing excuse of a florist known as bloomex. No compensation, just $5 for the card. They did offer 10% on my next order. Completely laughable. You'll never scam me twice!

Deception of public,
This company is in breech of many nz laws, commits harmful behaviour, and is not capable of resolution according to law, my guess is they will be shut down very soon,
Do not give them any money!

THE WORST FLOWER DELIVERY SERVICE. trust the reviews...flowers arrived late by post, with no message that I had painstakingly written. they also proactively said a gift would be added for late delivery- this too was a lie. when queried kept in a loop.of rewrite message and we will send it, what?! YUCK! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! bloomex NZ - do better!

They purport through misleading advertising when you plug in an area that they are local. Whatever the area they identify with. Their Qs & As asking this question mislead you. There is no email or physical identity. I called the phone number available due to interest in placing an order and queried the local aspect and the answer was offhand and evasive. I did not proceed and veered my flower request to genuine local which delivered amazingly with service and quality. Makes it hard for these businesses up against misleading advertising and where the product delivery is shoddy and not timely as promised. Publicity now explains all. Avoid.

I received a flower delivery from them today . Unfortunately, the bouquet arrived with all of the flowers wilted and looking very sad.
I tried to call their customer service several times, but no one answered.
extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend to use their service at all. there are so much better options

Very meagre fruit bowl - calculated the items were charged ar about $8 each for cheap looking, not particularly good quality fruit.

A birthday flower delivery 3 days late and still counting....really disappointing.

I ordered flowers but put the wrong address. I contacted them 2 minutes later and they told me the flowers had been delivered by email and they couldn’t change the address. I rang their number and the customer service person was slow and unresponsive and then hung up on me when I asked to speak to someone more senior. Avoid.

A company that is unscrupulous. As is Mel’s Flowers supposedly based in Tauranga. What was ordered was not received by my friend. The bouquet was completely different in every way, to the pictured flowers on Mel’s Flowers website. Of course this is a ghost website for Bloomex. Volume of flowers pathetic for money spent.
No action with regard to a refund or reship. My emailed complaints initially were met with pathetic email responses. Once I told them I didn’t appreciate being treated like an idiot and I’d read their reviews communications ceased from them.
DO NOT USE THEM. Tip always check the Florists business address, if there isn’t one on their website they don’t exist. I didn’t do this sadly.

Wish I could choose zero stars.
Unprofessional, false advertising, poor half dead quality flowers, days late, tiny arrangements.
When I emailed to ask for an explanation I was gaslit.
Refused refund.
They did send a replacement but still no where near what was advertised or quality expected for what was paid.
Criminal. Shouldn’t be allowed to operate.

Flowers delivered a day late, not in the mason jar vase I ordered, and with a hideous stuffed bear which my poor daughter in law kept, until I told her to throw it out.
Absolute crap!

My son ordered the flowers for me for mothers day and spent over $100 with same day delivery which I revieved 3 days later. When I called the company, there was no apology, and response Iwas we can give you $25 credit which I can use on my next order. I am never going to order anything from them ever.

Absolutely rubbish service- horrible to deal with and would go elsewhere

This company are A COMPLETE RIP OFF. I ordered a same day delivery which the website offered for orders prior to 1pm which i did and paid an extra cost for this of $20, to be told by a phone call that this would not be possible 2hours prior to the 1pm cut off time. I asked for full refund because i wanted the flowers to be delivered on the,day which website said was def possible, TO be told, sorry, we cant do this after my money went thru. I asked for a full Refund and it was refused.. So PLEASE people BE CAREFUL.. THESE GUYS ARE NOT HONOROUABLE!!!. I Asked for full refund, and ordered my flowers thru another company that delivered ( thank you Kamo florist).. then bloomex finally delivered the flowers the following day.. and my aunty said ... it was a very very small bouquet$75 later...she said SHAMEFULL FOR WHAT YOU PAID.. SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPAY.. BLOOMEX.CO.NZ ARE NOT REPUTABLE AT ALL!!!
