I ordered flowers on a Friday got picked up on Saturday by nz post. Flowers got delivered on a Monday. Flowers were not fresh. Contacted customer service after emailing 3 times got no response. Spoke to a csr named Madeline told me that someone will get back to me. Still waiting. During checkout this was not mentioned that the flowers will be delivered after 3 days i choose my delivery for the next day. Only after paying this was mentioned. Was also told that a gourmet item would be delivered, but receiver did not receive anything like this. Shit experience shit customer service not happy paying soooo much $$$ 70 plus with wilted flowers.

Ordered flowers and giftbasket on 22nd for delivery 25th (Friday). It was my brothers and sister-in-law’s joint 80th birthday. Monday and it’s still not arrived. It was expensive and I’m completely gutted it didn’t arrive on date of delivery ordered. I can only imagine the state of the flowers if and when they do turn up. Phoned them and it may have well been a pre ordered reply. So bloody annoyed and disappointed.

Ordered roses from Bloomex NZ (also trading as NZ Blooms) for my wife's 50th, using their same-day delivery service to our motel in Wellington. Their website and advertising make it look as though they use local florists but as I found out they come from a warehouse in Auckland.

By 3pm on the day they were supposed to be delivered nothing had arrived, so I called. I was told the flowers would definitely be delivered that day. At about 3:45pm I got a message from a courier company saying they'd just been put on a courier in Auckland. I called again at 4:20pm and was again told they would definitely arrive that day. When I asked how flowers leaving Auckland mid-afternoon would reach Wellington the same day, they still insisted they would.

Later I got a message saying the order was delayed and I'd been given a free upgrade. The flowers arrived the next day, just as we were checking out of the motel. No upgrade, no apology.

The roses were good quality, but that isn't the point of same-day delivery for a milestone birthday. They missed the day entirely, and the repeated assurances when they clearly couldn't deliver made it worse. If the timing matters, I'd use a local Wellington florist instead.

Steer clear of Bloomex.
I ordered Gourmet basket and 1 teddy bear.
Received basket that did not compare to picture and listed items. Shocking. Basket was half the size with 1 sm bar chocolate, pkt cheap crackers, 5 flowers tied, not even fancy. No teddy. Falsely advertised they were based in Whangarei only to find out they were based on Auckland. The business should be shut down.

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered a premium gift basket filled with chocolate goodies, but what was delivered instead was a cheap stuffed toy and a pile of cheap, Asian-purchased candy. It looked completely unprofessional and nothing like what was advertised on their website.

When you pay for a specific gift, you expect to get what you ordered, not a random, lower-quality substitute. Avoid Bloomex NZ at all costs—they are highly misleading.

I ordered same day delivery and they are arriving 5 days late. This company is an absolute joke don’t even know how it’s still running should be shut down. I rang them to ask about the shipping and the lady hung up on me after asking me “what was your number and I went to say my phone number, then she says no your order number AND then she says no your last name and as I told her my last name she hung up.
So stupid I paid $150 for this absolute scam of a site… and I live in Australia and was just trying to sort some flowers for my mum in NZ when it was the first one to pop up and I thought they’d be fine.
I wish I had done some research on this company before ordering from them.
So disappointing, instead of this terrible site order off your local florists and support them.

Absolutely sub standard and half the size of advertised photo product ..
Giving me the run around in regards to Refund or even Part Refund.. I have sent 4 times photo of arrangement received - via 2 different ways & THEY still say cannot see photo…

Day late on delivery, no explanation, no photo of flowers, and flowers arrived half dead and broken. On contacting they apologised and asked for photo proof. Nothing heard back again. Wished had read reviews prior to using.

Worst company ever. Ordered my mum a bunch of flowers for her birthday. I payed for same day delivery and at 3.30pm get told will be delivered the next day and did not get delivered and the call center are useless no tracking info and just disappointed ☹️

Terrible. False advertising, bad service, worse florist EVER. I bought a bunch of flowers for a dear friend of mine to say (no kidding) happy birthday, thank you for letting me stay the weekend, and get well soon (broken arm). As it was a big occasion we splashed out and spent $120 on the bouquet. NOT ONLY was the bunch delayed two days when my lovely recipient sent me a picture of the flowers - I was MORTIFIED. There was about 1/3 of the flowers in the bouquet than the picture I ordered online. I was so embarrassed I apologised to my friend and told her I would see what I could do. When I showed Bloomex photos of what they advertised what actually arrived - they said that while they couldn't give me a refund because the flowers had been delivered, that I could receive a credit to use again. I ignorantly assumed that it would be a) the same value and b) able to be used to another apology bouquet to my friend to prove I wasn't such a miserable tight friend. Anyway it won't surprise you that when I asked them to send a proper bunch of flowers - Bloomex said all they could so is offer me $40 (ie the delivery charge) as a credit. I have now asked them to either deliver the equivalent value in chocolate to my friend by way of an apology or give me the money back and I'll give her the cash. NEVER, EVER EVER will I use this company again - and I would recommend to anyone who gives a toss about who they are sending flowers or a gift to don't go within a mile of them. Total and utter appalling service, goods and follow up. It's a absolute waste of money and time and you risk damaging your own reputation with those you love. However if you do want to send flowers - I received a bunch of flowers from Nectar in Napier from a friend in the UK. The bunch is HUGE, beautiful and lasted over two weeks. Likewise The Village Florist in Ahuriri - the most incredible caring service, beautiful flower selection and on time with all deliveries.

unprofessional on the phone when following up on an order. No tracking info on Shop track app. Poor amount of flowers for the price. Did not expect it to arrive in a box.

DO NOT USE. I wish I did my research before buying from Bloomex NZ. Ordered and paid for Same Day delivery on a Friday to a business address. Flowers were attempted to be delivered the Saturday - the business is not open weekends. Redelivered Monday - DEAD.
Have requested refund and have been offered as a 'gesture of good will' a store credit. ABSOLUTELY NOT. From the reviews I read its unlikely I will receive a refund so have submitted a request through my bank to reverse the transaction.
I have submitted a report to the Commerce Commission and I suggest everyone that is taking the time to give a review does the same before more and more people are completely scammed out of their money.

These people are scammers!!! They don't deliver when they are supposed to and they sell the cheepest, crappiest bunches of flowers you could ever not want to see. If you want to be dissapointed then choose them. They are also not who the pretend to be. I thought I was dealing with a real florist shop but they use this as a front. They distribute out of a wharehouse. You can get better quality bunches from the supermarket. I was gutted with my experience and felt totally ripped off. Don't let yourself be the next one to feel this way. Just scroll down and find a more reputable florist. I wish I had:(

Ordered an expensive bouquet from Bloomex for our anniversary, to arrive on 31st August. It failed to arrive. The help line is a joke. A disinterested girl put me through to a number that rang for two minutes and then cut me off. A very modest bunch of flowers arrived today, 2nd September, with a note for someone’s grandmother. The wrong flowers for the wrong people.

Ordered some flowers for a friend's birthday they arrived a day late got 2 emails saying they had been delivered but hadnt rung customer services what a waste of time that was the flowers finally arrived a day late the flowers were nice but I wont be ordering from bloomex ever again I highly recommend new customers dont either !

A 1 star rating is generous. This company is a scam. Paid for an $80 bouquet and what arrived was a limp/very nearly dead bunch of flowers which wouldn't even be sold for more than $15 at the supermarket.

Ordered and paid for same day delivery bouquet to Matamata. This order was placed before 10.30am. Email from NZ Post arrived at 4.30 saying the flowers were collected from ONEHUNGA and would be delivered the following day! Not sure why they were sent from Auckland and not Tauranga.
Contacted Bloomex who said they don’t do same day delivery to Matamata but they took the money!
Extremely poor service and will certainly NEVER use this service again. Also, what arrived was NOTHING like the bouquet that I ordered.
I emailed to complain and ….got an email back….in FRENCH🙄
