We have been Members of BBX as "Charity Angels" now for nine months. During that time we have received great support both from the staff as well as other Members. The trading power generated has allowed us to acquire products and services that either we need or will help us to develop. Some of these we never knew existed until explained by BBX. It was a good decision to join.

We signed up for BBX as a charity account. At first it was slow going and we struggled but after Gwendolyne became our account manager we have really found it to be a useful resource o bring in real money for the charity!

BBX approached Vision ICT to produce graphic design for a number of projects. As the graphic designer I worked closely with Tara Appleton and have been extremely impressed by her calm manner and superb organisation.

As a result of our working with BBX, Vision ICT has treated myself and my fellow colleagues to some marvellous team building days, meals out and various vouchers.

You can only accept payment by BBX and you can only spend BBX with BBX and their guarantee to refund you is a huge stretch as a money-back guarantee.

I've used BBX for 4 years & have found it an excellent way to gain new business and access suppliers

BBX has been a lifesaver for my business, allowing me to sell the spare capacity of my business, where otherwise I would have been twiddling my thumbs with nothing to do (and more importantly not earning money.) It is important to understand the value of using BBX, not only do you get a dedicated account manager who will find clients for you, they will also find ways you can save money by converting your current cash outgoings to BBX. It is a WIN-WIN situation and allowed us to grow our business more effectively since becoming a member.

A BIG thanks to BBX for arranging the social event last last week, as a result of attending I made a connection with Tim Peniston-Bird.
We had a 1-2-1 zoom chat the next morning, we both agreed to a 30 minute session, which resulted in exactly 2 hours of productive discussions between us of how we can work together.
I am excited to say that this may result in being one of the BEST collaborations I have made for my business. All achieved in much LESS than 24 hours of being introduced and chatting at a social event.
It looks like you can mix business with pleasure, so I will be looking to attend more events in the future

I have really enjoyed my experience with BBX so far since signing up last year.

I have had a far bigger return of investment than I anticipated and am working with a network of great new clients.

The credit that I have accumulated has allowed me to purchase goods and services to enhance my business and lifestyle, and I imagine as things start to open up now that there will be more selling and purchasing opportunities.

This is a brilliant initiative. It has saved me money and bought me in more clients. I would highly recommend

I was contacted today by a rep from Bbx who explained a brief overview of the set up. To be paid in credit in exchange for using our companies services is bizarre. So many problems would be forthcoming. Still financing the work out of our money to gain credit . Limited to spend the currency credit on the said site. Major major risks. Deliver 100k of flyers and chance the high cost ( our company puts up) levelled against having credit to spend on something within the group site. Why not get paid and spend the actual money on what your company needs? Very odd, intriuged where they got our details. Not for us.

Spammy direct marketing approaches are not appreciated from any business. I gave two stars because they actually wrote English unlike a lot of spammers.

I was cold call contacted by Charlie Landers to ask if I would be interested in joining their club. The website looked glitzy, but between the lines, it is designed to make them money and not those who buy into it.
They were not willing to let me know how they got my details or whether they were keeping them on file. GDPR means my data should be respected.

I have been with this company for a number of years, I would strongly recommend them to any business or individual who might want to look at expanding their business, both in gaining new work but also simply building their professional network.
Unlike business networks BBX don’t just introduce businesses or individuals to each other they allow for the banking of spare capacity for use at a later date and the efficient transfer of value in a way that builds business and business contacts like no other.
The small annual fee is more than reasonable for the amount of benefit by being a member of BBX

Absolutely useless!

Please take the time to read this, it will be worthwhile...

We were convinced originally to sign up at a cost of approximately £800, with a guarantee that we have our money back if they don’t deliver at least that in additional business. Over a year they delivered just over the £800, despite target promises of £2000 per month!

After such a useless first year, and after finding that every attempted BBX purchase was a dead end (everyone that we approached did not want anymore BBX, as they also couldn’t spend it) we decided not to renew our membership.

The Operations Director convinced us to renew FOC, with more promises of change, promises of more promotions of our business, we reluctantly agreed, and undertook three further jobs... this equated to a further 1500 BBX. We undertook the surveys (one of them being the Operations Directors proposed new home) knowing we needed purchases for our new office.

Every attempt to make a purchase has again resulted in a useless result... one guy saying he wants cash, another too busy to help... and others not responding to communication. I guess they also do not want anymore BBX, as they can’t spend it.

In short, it has proved to be a complete waste of time, so please don’t proceed based on their false promises, when they know how useless it is.

Twisted truth if I ever heard it... for one, most of the purchases were meals in two different pubs, as there was nothing else that we needed available....

You forgot to mention all of the other requests that you could not fulfil such as car brakes, because the supplier had too many BBX and didn’t want more! .... or the Wareham taxi who also didn’t want anymore... and many others the same!...

You waived the renewal fee, as that was the only way you could convince us to give it another go, please be honest if you are going to respond, don’t twist the truth to make it look more favourable....

If preferred I can list all of the BBX failures on here to give a true picture, and every transaction we have made so that everyone can see exactly what we have purchased...

BE CAREFUL: What they do not tell me on the sales call is that your are only paid in BBX pounds that are NOT spendable anywhere else except on the site. This leaves you to pay their fees and commission plus your staff, suppliers and taxman all out of your own company funds. Fine if you are a hotel or restaurant that has to pay a lot of overheads anyway but not if you are a typical service provider. So it may not work for your type of company. The BBX pounds cannot be exchanged for actual GBP but are declarable as turnover for tax purposes. If your company regularly buys in resources and you can find them on the site then it may work for you. I was treated politely and provided with a refund so an honorable company - just make sure that the process will work for your company before you make payment and do not be rushed into a decision.

Since joining BBX earlier this year I have been pleased to receive several valuable commissions through the Network for new business; while simultaneously enjoying many introductions to a varied range of skills and products. This has greatly assisted me in building up my company and enabled me to make purchases that would otherwise have required significant Sterling expenditure
