I was promised that I would be emailed the direct contact details of the person to complain to, but this has not happened. Instead the complaint by staff in the wrong did her own version of the complaint for the complaints team.
My current complaint is that my assessment took several months to complete. The policy explicitly states that it should have been done within 5 working days.
During this long delay, I emailed several reminders which were completely ignored. I had asked multiple times if all the necessary information had been received or if anything else was required, but received no response.
Furthermore, the company has made excuses claiming that I was not contactable. This is entirely untrue. When the assessor finally decided to ring me, she got through to me immediately. I have always promptly dealt with and replied to all emails. Any claim stating that staff were unable to contact me is false.

This is not the first time I have had severe issues with them. A couple of years ago, an ARAG assessor ignored court deadlines and took a long time to assess a matter. Because of their delays, I had to appoint my own solicitor. ARAG then refused to reimburse me for about £2,000 in fees that I paid before their slow assessment.
Shockingly, the solicitor that ARAG finally appointed—just one day before the court deadline—stated directly to me that there was no time left to even read the matter, saying there was no way he could represent me.
He explicitly told me to continue using the solicitor I had appointed myself. Despite this, they still refused to reimburse me.
When I complained about that situation, their complaints staff simply took sides with the staff member in the wrong and closed ranks with her. They do not care about clients.

I have been using their advice line while dealing with a complex legal situation. The guidance and recommendations I have received have been incredibly valuable to me and the situation I am in.

This is not just a top-quality service; it is a genuinely human interaction that gives you the courage to see the process through, however difficult it might be.

What a total waste of time! Arag were appointed well over 12 months ago to assist me with a simple insurance excess claim. From day 1 they have been completely ineffective and non proactive. Despite complaining numerous times about their inactiveness and complete lack of momentum, all I receive (if lucky and usually many weeks after each complaint) is a generically produced email which reads exactly the same each time and says that they are awaiting further developments.
To date, their services have proven to be next to useless and it bewilders me as to how they can still be in business.
Take no notice of their media advertising - I find their spiel and promises of professional assistance far from truthful.

I have house insurance with Admiral and I was looking through the small print ( never really done that before) and noticed o was covered for employment issues!
