I had a phone that my carrier would not consider a trade in because of the cracked screen. I had sold an old cell phone online before but decided to shop around for the best quotes. I was surprised that most everyone offered about the same amount of money and then somehow I stumbled on Trademore. I filled in the info and their quote was almost double of the other sites, even the one I had used before. There was a delay from my carrier for my replacement phone and Trademore kindly agreed to an extension of the offer after I emailed them about my issue. My new phone arrived, I sent my old phone to Trademore via UPS with the package kit they provided and the original quote was in my PayPal account 2 days later. Their offers are very fair, their customer service and communication skills are exemplary, and their quick responses and payments are unparalleled. Because of them, I was able to pay my past due electric bill. I will be recommending Trademore highly to all!! Thank you, Trademore for all of your kind consideration and expedited service.

I bought an iPhone 11 on the 14th of this month and I’m yet to receive any tracking number for my purchase. Thank you very much Trademore I received my package

my aunt helped her daughter buy a phone off from trademore, so i bought a phone (iPhone 12 pro max) to see how it is. i got the excellent condition, 256 gb, and unlocked and it came perfectly! just like they said, it did come in within 2 business days through fedex. i suggest if you do order it, have someone be at your home for you so when fedex delivers your phone they’re able to sign it off for you. i will be definitely ordering more iPhones for cheaper prices on trademore!!

Wish I could leave a zero star rating. Sent in my mothers iPhone which was literally perfect. They offered almost
Nothing for it after offering 160.00. Rip off! Asked for the phone back and 3 months later, nothing!

I now realize that it would be difficult for any online used phone company to provide the previous owners information to Apple in order to get a phone unlocked. Here is my previous message: I purchased an iphone for one of my children about 2.5 years ago from Trademore. We lost our Apple ID password so the phone became locked. I contacted Apple and they said in order to get the phone unlocked without losing data that we would need Trademore to send the name of the original owner they bought it from to Apple so it could be confirmed that we were the new owner (not stolen). Trademore was unable to assist with the issue.

I will never deal with this organization again. This was my first experience - and they made it very easy to get my iPhone 8 Max Plus to them. They offered me $168 for a phone that was truly in excellent condition…not a scratch on it and working fine. When their offer came in it was for less than HALF that amount: $67! They considered the device in “POOR” condition. Never again.

On November 20th I bought two XR iphones on trademore's website, shipping was fast and arrived in 2 days, the problem started when one of the iphones did not arrive with the expected quality (there was a huge risk on the side) and I chose to do it the refund on November 27th. On December 7th the device was received by them and on December 11th the refund was supposedly authorized. The problem is that to this day I have NEVER received my money back, I even wanted to buy other iphones but as they are taking this case it is really disheartening. I don't recommend trademore, if you want security and a smooth purchase they don't offer it. I will go to the last resort for the money I paid, including the American court.

Very happy with the experience. Good way to get rid of my old phone with a broken screen.

I had an odd mix up with my package being sent to TradeMore; the tracking number I received from UPS was different than what my online TradeMore order provide. After about a week without my order being updated, I got concerned that I had possibly made some kind of error in my shipping, so I contacted support. They responded to me within six hours of emailing them with a simple and reasonable explanation, telling me that they would look into it. About an hour an a half after that, I saw I had received my payment, and had an additional email apologizing for the "inconvenience", as though having a support issue such as this fully resolved within six hours is anything other than fantastic. Wicked efficient and pleasant support.

I just sold my unlocked 256Gb iPhone XR to TradeMore and I couldn't be happier with how smooth this went, especially after having the worst experience with one of their competitors (Decluttr).
I quoted my phone as poor since the back camera lens had a tiny chip on its side but it wasn't affecting the phone. The phone was fully functional and the camera was working fine, fully able to take pictures and videos.
So why did I marked it as a bad phone? Because I tried to sell it to Decluttr first, and they lowered their offer by $200 because of the little chip. Even if I explained to them it wasn't affecting the phone, they refused to test it again and I asked for it to be sent back.
So, I contacted TradeMore prior to sending the phone and asked about what state I should quote the phone for and they advised poor. I sent the phone to TradeMore using my own packaging and it arrived a few days later.
It took TradeMore 24 hours to inspect the phone and pay me via Paypal! So, really fast service here!
But the good surprise was that after inspection, they agreed with me that the phone was fully functional minus some wear and tear and they raise up their offer by more than $100. I couldn't be happier!
I seriously cannot recommend them more, especially after the awful experience with the scam that is Decluttr, it's a breath of fresh air to find such an honest goods buying company with some very professional ethics!
Oh, and their customer service staff is very reactive, they always replied to my emails within an hour or so.
If you're looking to sell a phone, a tablet or a smartwatch, look no further, TradeMore is the real deal!

I purchased an iPhone 7 on 7/2/2021. I just wanted to thank Trademore for selling me a phone that has a known hardware defect. You see the iPhone was made in China, model A1660 that is known for the hardware that connect to the telco service provider to fail and the hardware needs to be replace by Apple.

I had it one day and could not get it connected to my provider. Took it to the local Apple store and low and behold the problem is a known hardware defect.

Don’t get burn like me.

Just ordered my phone yesterday 07/18/21. iPhone XS Max Gold 256GB (Unlocked) and Excellent condition. I was very skeptical about placing my order with the negative reviews but I went ahead and did. I don’t know how I feel about it because after reading even more reviews I am very worried. Trademore guarantees free 2 day express shipping. I will update my review once I have received my order.

UPDATE:
Received my phone today 07/21/21. My iPhone shipped out on the 19th and it arrived in two days as guaranteed by Trademore. My phone is in excellent condition with 92% battery health. It came unlocked liked requested and my camera and speakers work perfect. No scratches or scuffs on my screen or around my phone. It looks brand new. I’m so happy with my purchase. For a phone retailing at around $1000 I literally got it for half of that. Thank you Trademore

Trade more falsely quotes devices to their own benefit. Their standards for phone conditions go as followed “ Perfect - Fully functional in like-new condition with no scratches or blemishes.
Good - Fully functional with normal wear and tear, minor cosmetic scratches.
Poor - Device is not fully functional or has cracked screen and/or bent housing.”
I a phone salesman have worked with cellphones for many years and and understand and can agree with these terms. So when given a quote that a iphone 11 with no existing damage and functional problems was quoted to their standard as poor. It leads me to believe that trademore is nothing more than a scam.

I ordered from Trademore and within 2 days time the "new" phone was sitting at my doorstep. Supposedly I needed to sign for it, but it was just dropped outside my apartment building.
Opened it up and the phone is in excellent condition. Here's the kicker. The phone is locked and I can't unlock it. Their customer service is only available during weekday work hours while my carrier's IT department is laughing at me purchasing from a used retailer.

Everything went exactly like they said it would. Got a quote on my phone, mailed it out on a Friday (UPS didn’t run over the weekend) and they got the phone on Tuesday. I tried to follow to see about the payment status but had issues logging in. It was my fault, I forgot to register but when I emailed them they got back to me willing to help set up my account. My payment hit PayPal the following day, Wednesday, with the amount quoted to me. They were fantastic, customer service was great and pay out was quick. I’ll definitely will be using them again!

Very easy to pack and ship back my old phone. I was honest about the condition so I received the full amount they offered the same day they received the old phone. Great experience!

I ordered 2 1phone XR for my kids for Christmas and I will be ordering again every soon

I rating this company again because after writing a review here they contacted me by email stating the reason i did not paid was that they have not received my phone yet ( it was late getting to them ) i finally got paid like two weeks later and got the full amount they originally offer

I ordered a phone from Trademore.com on February 14, 2020. The site makes the claim on multiple pages that orders are shipped out the very next business day and will be delivered for free in two days time. I received the order confirmation email almost immediately after purchasing the phone on Trademore.com and confirmed that the amount was debited from my bank account.

It has been three business days since my purchase and I have yet to receive any tracking information. There is no customer service phone number listed anywhere on Trademore.com and they state that it will take 24 to 48 hours to reply to email inquiries. I am currently waiting in the 24 hour period for a reply.

I am very disappointed with my experience thus far and if this is not resolved and I am not in posession of the phone by February 19 I will be seeking a full refund of my purchase.

UPDATE 2/25/2021:
I received an email reply from Trademore.com stating that the severe winter weather in Texas was to blame for the shipping delay. While this is completely understandable, I was highly disappointed that they didn't take the initiative to notify me of this. Due to the phone being in excellent condition as advertised but their customer service practices lacking, I changed the rating to three stars.

This phone compares to all the new ones I have purchased over the years. It made the end of 2020 seem even better! Look forward to buying from this company again. Will tell my friends and family also.
