Avoid these people like the plague!!!
They are a scam, they try and impose onerous conditions, well after payment, and just before your stay, with $300 fines, and refuse refunds after they breach the contract. I will be contacting my lawyer to recover my money!

This is scam these people doing at Sweet Inn Saint Jean (Brussels). They loot money for cancellation they just charge hefty. Usually while booking they never say about cash deposit once you have done booking via booking.com. You will get a separate confirmation link where you have to enter the details and upload document where in only you will realize that you have to deposit 500 euro. So stay away from this entire chain of hotel.

Complete scam company! Stay away from these people!
They took the money from my card, there was an error on the booking, informed them 5 min after the booking, they then refused to refund me the money, or even move me to a new place because I was within the 2 weeks cancellation period.
Have been asking for months for a manager to call, apparently he/she doesn't exist.

Très déçue, la réservation n'a pas aboutie , faute d'avoir pu fournir les noms des participants.
La somme à toutefois été prélevée immédiatement !
Ne voyant aucun document me parvenir j'ai tenté des les joindre à plusieurs reprises et par plusieurs biais. Ils m'ont indiqué que ma réservation n'a pas abouti et que le logement était réservé entretemps...
J'ai du attendre une semaine pour mon remboursement.
Je trouve dommage que le service client n’appelle pas les clients afin de leur préciser que leur réservation soit incomplète et malgré tout prélèvent le montant total

Estafadores profesionales: Reservé por Airbnb para pasar Nochebuena con mis padres, hermano y esposa, en Barcelona. Primera trampa: te obligan a realizar un depósito como fianza y al pago de unas tasas municipales por su pasarela de pago propia, lo cual no se puede hacer si la reserva es con Airbnb. Por ello, cuando venga la estafa en sí, Airbnb se lavará las manos diciendo que has caído en phising y que ellos poco pueden hacer (pero resulta que toda los mensajes te llegarán por mediación de Airbnb, los cuales no hacen nada para protegerte de dicho phising). La estafa en sí: Se negaron a devolvernos la fianza, inventando averías y destrozos en el inmueble de los que, ni por asomo, somos responsables (de hecho se los inventan, mienten descaradamente y alegan las cosas más surrealistas, casi riéndose de tí). Recomiendo a todo el mundo, NUNCA reservar con estos personajes, pero si por error habéis caído en sus garras, por favor, tomar fotos de todo para poder defenderos después. Yo he tenido que denunciar a la policía y todavía estoy esperando algún tipo de solución por parte de Airbnb. Al banco le tuve que reclamar el cargo y cancelar la tarjeta utilizada. Una experiencia de lo mas lamentable.

DO NOT USE. Worst experience with a property management company ever. We travelled from US to Ireland to spend Christmas. They did not show up to check us in. They not respond to calls or emails from me or Airbnb on the night. They ruined our vacation and husbands birthday celebration and did not reach out to apologize or explain their deplorable service. I’m a short term property owner myself and would never treat my guests like this. Clearly they do not care for their guests.

I don’t recommend the Sweet Inn to anyone.

We’ve been told the check in time is at 4 pm (which is late compared to other companies and hotels) and although the apartment was available, the didn’t let us to check in even 5 minutes earlier.

Same happened for the check out which was at 11 am.

They are not honest with their apartment description. We booked an apartment and had no idea this apartment has 75 stairs to the 4th floor with no elevator. It so inconvenient for the people who have luggage as well as the iPod people.
So I wouldn’t recommend the company to anyone because of their lack of honesty and bad customer service.

Apartment is advertised as a "luxury apartment", but the amenities seem more like a second-rate student flat. Broken furniture, cheap Ikea kitchenware, fixtures and fittings which don't work. It is a dump.

Most frustratingly, the owner has only provided one working set of keys for a three bedroom apartment. This means one of us has to stay in at all times otherwise we would be locked out. They have promised to fix this or send someone with another set of keys, but this has not happened. They do not respond to messages and their phone is not answered.

Really bad experience. I will never stay at ANY Sweet Inn suite. I wouldn't recommend it. We booked an apartment in Paris because we liked the idea of a luxury apartment, but it was such a bad experience. When looking at the photos, it gives the impression of luxury, but the price and quality do not match in any way. It is smaller than what is shown in the pictures and is really very used. All the furniture was broken, strained and looked very used, things were falling apart... The windows are not insulated, you can hear the noise from the street as if you were outside. And the worst part was the customer service. There was none. No one willing to listen or help, it felt like talking to robots who want our money and get rid of us. We had a very simple request but all we encountered was rudeness and inhospitality.
I highly recommend booking anything other than the Sweet Inn. Also, there were a lot of stairs and no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage all the time. Also the outer door is too used, sometimes the button works, sometimes it doesn't... Overall, totally disappointing. For that price you would get a really good hotel room with breakfast and amazing service and hospitality. But we were only disappointed and frustrated at the sweet inn. Never again!

Hemos arrendado un apartamento en Rue du boccador 5 en Paris durante 4 noches. El apartamento, y en concreto el baño estaba tan sucio que no hemos podido alojarnos en él. Durante este tiempo no habido manera de obtener una respuesta de Sweet Inn, ni de hablar con ningún responsable, ni nadie nos ha ofrecido una solución. Sólo reconocieron que el apartamento estaba sucio y que lo limpiarían cuando saliéramos.

Terrible booking process. Asked to book for certain dates. Sweet inn booked for incorrect dates and gave me 24 h to pay. When I pointed out THEIR error, they sent a message saying it’s a non- changeable policy. Which makes zero sense. This is after multiple communications. I decided to go through customer service as they offer a 10% discount rather than book on the website but they are completely useless. Stopped replying to comms while pressuring to pay. AVOID!!!!!!!

Very nice, clean and spacious two floor apartment centrally located in the heart of Paris!

The flat was in a very nice position. Very clean and equipped with all the comforts. The check in really fast and easy. Super good experience.

The company that requires a substantial security deposit for their properties, and does not return it. They simply disappear from any communications. Avoid at all costs!

Ich kann es nicht empfehlen. Der Kundenservice ist relativ schwer zu erreichen und dazu nicht sonderlich hilfreich. Das das Zahlen von Kautionen bei uns nur über Kreditkarte ging bzw letztendlich nicht zu Stande kommen konnte war katastrophal. Es gibt heutzutage so viele Zahlungsmöglichkeiten, eine Erweiterung dieser ist dringend notwendig. Außerdem kamen die Mails hinsichtlich der Bestätigung des Betriebs ( zb für die Ankunftszeit) so spät -obwohl diese unsererseits schon viel früher erfolgte, sodass dann keine Zeit mehr verblieb um etwas zu klären. Wir würden es nicht nochmal buchen.

That was exactly what happened to my family and me when I fully paid Booking.com and the deposit to Sweet inn

It’s a scam not a hotel

A stay for a family of 5, three generations, in an apartment in central Brussels.

Really excellent customer service, a spacious, clean and comfortable apartment, and great location.

We stayed during a spell of muggy weather, with high night time temperatures, and the lack of air conditioning meant we kept the windows open - unfortunately to mosquitos as well, but insect repellant spray was pretty effective if rather smelly.

The main shortcoming was the provision of only one toilet in an apartment with accommodation for up to 8 people. Not a real problem for us, with small children, but not entirely convenient.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! The apartment was super easy to get to from the train station and is less than a mile from the Duomo and the Galleria! GREAT LOCATION!

The host was easily accessible for any questions. The apartment is well decorated and provides the tools you would need to make a quick meal (but we didn't use) The host even provided toiletries in the bathroom just in case you run out of body wash :) The Air conditioning in both the living rm and the bedroom was great bc some places only provide a fan in Italy so be aware! The couch does need a bit of a deep cleaning bc it was dingy but overall, it was very comfortable stay for my family of 4 for 2 nights.
