I wish I read the reviews before purchasing this product. Unfortunately the lady at the mall is pretty high pressure.
Nothing like what showed me.
Used it for the first time and it won't even curl. Disappointed.
Looked at the receipt to find out no refunds. Waste of money.

I have had my StraightAhead bionic pro iron for 1 week.
CONS:
** I would think that a high end iron would have an automatic shut off and the plug would not hang out of the outlet halfway. It does not stay plugged in all the way.
** It does not save me time, like the sales person said it would.
PROS:
** It works and I like the curls it makes
BUT That is nothing different than what I can buy at the store for way less money!
** It leaves less of a burnt smell than other irons

I would love to return it and get my $140 back! Yeap, I was a sucker. I should have left the mall kiosk, done a little research online, and I never would’ve bought it.

Very disappointed into the purchase I made from the mall! Nothing like what was demonstrated and it’s pure junk for the price! It pulls your hair and nothing like what was demonstrated at the kiosk. I was not ever informed of a no refund policy until I looked at my receipt. There should be a class action against this company for manufacturing junk and scamming people.

Not only is the flat iron not as good as the one that was demoed, but it broke and I looked up the registration that I made sure to do, and it says my account doesn't exist! I've tried contacting customer service multiple times with no response.

I went into the mall and had sat down in chair. I never thought I would have purchased this... but I am glad I did. I have never had an issue since the day went home with it. My hair is soft and not frizzy when I use it. what use to take me 30 plus minutes now is maybe 15 to do.

I am really surprised at some of these reviews, I mean I do believe that the hair straightener is not worth the price I paid but, I straightened my hair 3 days ago and I have slept on my hair going day 3 and have not had to restraighten my hair. I think it is a good product, just not for the price. The shampoo and conditioner is amazing and so is the serum.

Just bought this today from the mall. I got home and tried this on my hair and my daughter's hair. It is complete garbage. It will not curl our hair. It pulled our hair. I would give 0 stars if possible. I definitely got scammed. I bought 11/28/22.

I myself got scammed cause I was amazed by this product at the mall. Got home to try it out and it definitely doesn't have the feel of the one at the mall kiosk. Feel stupid cause I was duped. Sorry company, I'm recently widowed and now out $155 cause of this scam.

I bought this at the University Park Mall in South Bend. The guy pulled me to the Kiosk and was incredibly pushy and used the pro glider on my curls and I told him I don’t use heat on my hair at all and he kept pulling my hair out and it hurt. I am so upset I was pushed to spend $100 on this scam!! I was not told about the no refund policy and he made me so uncomfortable and anxious and was so rude to me and my boyfriend it made me cry and go into a panic attack. He didn’t give me an option to say no and just gave me choices of which one. I didn’t even want it and I’m out $100 during Christmas when I was just there to make a return. I tried contacting the company on their website and on instagram and got no response. I am incredibly upset and didn’t have the money in the first place and told the guy. Biggest rip off ever!

My girlfriend and I went to the Belden Village Mall and were pulled by a kiosk salesman named Niv. He showcased his beauty products such as the flat iron and ceramic brush.

He then used them on my girlfriends hair and she loved it.

Well needless to say we bought the kit he suggested for a hefty price of $319.50 and as we were walking away from the kiosk he told us there are no refunds. This concerned me as I didn't know that prior to purchasing and would have impacted my decision to make the sale.

We went home and decided to look up the company in which he was affiliated with called "Straight Ahead Beauty". There were plenty of reviews on the Better Business Bureau as well as other sites claiming that they scam their customers in a tactic called the "bait and switch" where they use a different item then the one they sell to their customers to appear as a higher quality item.

Knowing that information we decided we are not comfortable with their products and I called Niv the very next day and let him know that we would like a refund, to which he told me that he can not do that and claims he told us prior to the sale which is untrue. I then told him that I will be calling the mall as well as making a dispute with my bank to which he replied that I will not win as he has security cameras.

Another thing worth noting is none of the products were sealed in new packing aside from the Moroccan Hair Serum and salon comb which are still sealed. Some of the products had signs of use prior to us even testing it which was another thing that made us feel discomfort.

Lastly the quality of the products feel very cheap for the price we paid.

I wish that I read reviews before purchasing. The item I brought home is definitely not the same quality that was used to demonstrate on my hair. I emailed requesting a refund without a response from customer service.

This is the worst thing I could of ever bought! The sales people are so pushy till it’s crazy! I wish I would of kept walking!!!! It has damaged my hair to no return! I will be getting a lawyer involved! This company has taken so much money from to many people!!! The fact when you get home the flat iron does not even heat up!

This flat iron RUINED my hair, I am livid. I bought this at a kiosk at the mall (so I can’t return it) it fried my hair, it literally feels like a wire broom. I’ve tried to restore it to no avail, I honesty don’t know what to do to fix it. I’m out $150 for the flat iron, and god knows how much it’s gonna cost to repair the damage. I’m just sick to my stomach, I’m a single mom of 4 kids making less than 30k a year, I really couldn’t afford it in the first place, but the lady said it doesn’t damage your hair like most flat irons, and mine had just stopped working so I needed one. In hindsight, I really should’ve known better, I normally wouldn’t even stop and talk to them, but like I said I needed one anyway.

UPDATE- It's been more than 2 months since straightaheadbeauty messaged here and informed me to contact via email. I sent several emails and made a phone call. Veronica from customer service directed me to Noya and informed me I will receive a refund. Till today I did not receive a refund neither Noya contacted me. Beware of this company and their cheating on their customers. After all of this hassle, disappointment, and waste of time and I want my refund soonest.

I went to Tysons Galleria Mall in VA and end up purchasing (the salesman was so pushy) the straightener and paid $381 for the item. The salesman promised me that he will teach me how to use the product as well he will do my hair weekly for free and how he sold 100's of products and doing business for the last 7 years. When I went the next week I was told that the salesperson is no longer working their and they refused to honor what I was told. I used the product and it was crap and not what they used in the mall. I again went the next week with the product, and to my shock, that kiosk was no longer there!!! This is the worst experience and biggest fraud that I was ever seen. We should file a lawsuit against this company and its sales agents.

Wow, I wish I read these reviews before I purchased one. I’m about to go back to the event that I just bought this at and tell every single customer how BS this is. I am so mad and I will NEVER support this again. In fact I’m contacting the place that held the vendor event and telling them not to allow this company back

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I was trying to refrain from coming on here and tried emailing them but got no response! The straightener that was used on my hair is not the same as the one i was sent home with. He curled a half of my head and left it so i picked up the straightener to straighten it back how i had it and he flipped out and said he would do it and it didn’t click until i opened my straightener that it was because the company is a complete scam! I spent over 400 dollars on this rip off product and i can not believe these people are okay with ripping people off! It is disgusting and disappointing and I am beyond furious with this company!!!

I purchased two Bionic Pro's and one Pro Glider today from Opry Mills Mall.. Spent way MORE MONEY THAN THEY ARE WORTH... Got home excited to try it out and reality... CHEAP MADE.. They pulled my hair every time it was ran through my hair... WOULD love a refund because these are CRAP... Sorry NOT sorry.

I am so shocked to see so many negative reviews. I used to work at one of these kiosk and they literally sell genuine products! I still use that flat iron today. Everyone’s hair I tried it on was such a great result and they all loved it too. Plus if they break there’s a lifetime warranty. These flat irons use infrared so they can style 2 times and fast with 1/2 the heat. Stays a long time.

The reviews are 100% accurate. I purchased the SA straightener at the mall and when I got home and opened the box it was a straightener as cheap as a $20 straightener I own. The plates literally snagged pieces of my hair out. The material was extremely cheap. It's no wonder they refuse to refund. They know they are scamming people.
