Decided to buy one of these at west town mall in knoxville tn. The lady was really pushy. I came home and used it and noticed it's nothing like she showed me. I loved my hair so much when she did it I begged my husband to get it. I had planned on buying some clothes from American eagle and my husband told me I would have to put some clothes back if I wanted it. I only get clothes once a year around tax time. Disappointed after reading the reviews. Should've done my research.

What a COMPLETE joke. Whateve crap shampoo and hair oil ALONG with a straightener they FORCE you to buy and be sneaky at check out made me soo UNCOMFORTABLE it's not even funny. If I could rate this a zero I would. They offer to straighten your hair, and the straightener they use is amazing. They tell you that you can purchase it for an insane price and lower it. I paid around $150 for mine in December and was so impressed I bought another as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Oh wait she gave it to me for free because she wanted me to buy a hair product for $99. Should have realized something was off!
First time I used it, I noticed it did not do what the one she used did, and it broke my hair as I used it! She claimed my hair would stay straight or curled for 3 days! Yeah right! It does not make it through the day.
This is false advertising and a bait and switch gimmick! They will not refund your money. They claim it has a warranty and will exchange it! NO, I want my money back because you mislead me and my daughter!
Save your money! It is a scam and should be shut down for false advertising and ripping people off!

Buyer Beware!!
I would give "0" stars if I could. I bought my flat iron at a kiosk at Arundel Mills mall last weekend. The flat iron used on my hair at the mall, as the salesperson Lucas explained was infrared. This is what makes your hair soft and silky. So evidently when you go to pick a color out thinking you are getting that particular flat iron, it is not the same. The flat iron sold to me is a bionic ceramic plate. However, the salesperson told me he was selling me the one he used on my hair, which is what I thought I was getting. This is a very sneaky business practice. Basically, it is a scam, as the flat iron I purchased is not what was demonstrated on my hair. The flat iron pulls my hair, and will not straighten or curl my hair.
The salesperson started off at $300, then $189, then $129, and finally $89. I spent $95 on a flat iron I could have purchased for $20 from Walmart. I am very disappointed with my purchase, and would not purchase anything from this company in the future.

Would give zero stars if I could
The lady prayed on my insecurities and wouldn’t take no for an answer. No matter how many times I told her I have anxiety and felt pressured. Of course I gave in because she then called the other lady over who began really pressuring me. On top of all that they lied about it being infrared. The one they use is not even close to the same you buy. It’s a cheap $20 flat iron that will burn and pull your hair like No tomorrow. I want my money back but even customer service won’t respond. Biggest scam. Honestly thinking about getting a lawyer.

Editing my review: Straight Ahead Beauty got back to me and provided a replacement product. The poor experience was from the individual supplier at the mall and not from Straight Ahead Beauty itself.
Wish I read these reviews before I bought— I was told the product didn’t use heat. When I got home it was clearly just an ordinary straightener with heat. Very disappointed and reaching out to the manufacturer now. I don’t understand how they can get away with clearly false advertising.

Poor quality
I was at the mall and the item they used on my hair looked amazing. I got it home it was cheap and didn't even have automatic shut off which is a must for me. Tried to return and no return policy. Luckily I complained enough I got most of my money back. I was told it was 300 then they offered it to me for 169 then 129 when I still wouldn't buy they asked me a price and when I gave them a number they practically ran to check me out. I should of known then something was up. Not worth the money. I felt like it was a scam.

I bought my flat iron at a kiosk at the mall last weekend. So the one they use on our hair there , as she told me was infared . That’s what makes hair soft and silky. So when you go to pick a color out thinking your getting that particular one.. it’s the next level down. They gave me the bionic ceramic plate. She was trying to sell me the one she was using as that’s the one I thought I was getting 🧐 very sneaky to tell me to pick on the left hand side a color. The ones on the right most likely were the more expensive ones with infared. ( like the one she demonstrated with me . Just crazy!! Scammers for sure!! It works ok but not like I expected !!! 😠

Not what they demonstrated at the mall and pulls my hair. Spend $100 and charged an extra $10 for the warranty which it clearly comes with it and you don’t have to pay for. Wish I could get my money back. They were to pushy.

I was tricked!
Edit: I have emailed the company several times but I’m not getting a response.
I was tricked!! At the Dayton Mall and this lovely woman talked me into allowing her to demo the Straight Ahead flat iron and curling wand on my hair. Of course it was amazing but after spending almost $300 for the two items and the hair serum, I got home to find that what I got was nothing like what was used in the mall. The flat iron ceramic pieces are loose and not covered with ceramic, the curling wand is so cheap and has marks on it. The sign at the kiosk said returns and exchanges within 14 days but lo and behold, the receipt says all sales final. My husband tried to return it all the very next day and of course they wouldn’t even budge. How can a retailer not tell you about that policy AND have a sign saying something totally different ?? I emailed the company but have heard nothing. So very frustrating to be scammed!! This is why people don’t trust retailers!

Someone from straight ahead beauty will…
Someone from straight ahead beauty will call you but they only offer to replace the product, no refund. Then they hang up without telling you how/when they’ll replace your product or even getting your mailing address. How you going to help me without that?! Stay away from these people!!!
