The team of three who delivered our furniture were excellent. They did everything they could to make it happen. We were very impressed with their courtesy and customer satisfaction. Thanks very much.

My wife paid (in full) for an ex.display corner suite on 19th February but was told they couldn't promise delivery until 10th March but they would 'try for earlier'.
We called in on the 6th to get confirmation of delivery only to be told the earliest they could do was the 18th but we could collect on the 10th if we wanted. The next day (having arranged a man with a van) we agreed to pick it up on the evening of the 10th and told them we would be there around 5pm. We were told that was OK as they would be having a load of new stock delivered that afternoon.
When we arrived around 4pm the place was in total darkness and there was a sign on the front door stating they were not opening again until the 13th.
We contacted the customer service number and (after being on hold for 25 minutes) explained the situation. The lady we spoke to called the store (no answer) and then called us back to apologise and to say the store manager was actually still on site and would be calling us...no call came.
So ...if the store manager was in store why was he not answering the phone? Why was no one answering our repeated knocking on the roller doors at the back of the store? How was anyone working in the store in complete darkness? I think we all know the answers...... The manager was lying and they'd skived off. That is a disciplinary matter for SCS head office.
We ended up paying twice for a van when we eventually could collect the next day.
Lynsey from their customer services has ignored my emails (which she asked for) and we haven't even received a proper apology. Absolutely appalling.
P.S. SCS wanted to charge £119 to deliver.... it's 1 1/2 miles away FFS.
Trustpilot really should consider a no-star option as it would be the most suitable for SCS Rotherham..........

Brilliant snug 3 seater sofa + snug 1 chair from store to your door. From ordering in store Pauline was fantastic, She let us roam around the store with ease and no pressure. Delivered by Andy and Marc was fantastic, In and out in 5 minutes, Also took away the plastic covering.

Helpful sales staff, not pushy, great communication regarding delivery dates and times and delivery guys were excellent.

The crew Mathew and Glyn were brilliant. My furniture was placed where I wanted it, all packaging removed and taken away. A very helpful and friendly pair of guys, thankyou.

Friendly and great service

We went into the store with a budget in mind and a couple of sofas we had seen on the website. We were shown around by Pauline who listened to what we were after and knew what would suit us. After showing us a few we were left to have a wander round to look at the rest and when Pauline came back we totally agreed with what she had recommended and had no hesitation to decide there and then. A very pleasant, unpressurised visit and free delivery!!! Thanks Pauline.

I went to Parkgate rotherham for a new sofa and chair and the staff was very helpful was lovely to go into a store and not been pushed into something that you didn't want

My wife and I were looking for a suite and called into SCS at Parkgate Rotherham to have a look and we were surprised with the size and set out of the store the staff were friendly and very helpful.They explained where everything was and left us to look on our own when we chose a suite the assistant explained how it was constructed and type of material with the different types of color,we bought the suite and are pleased with the cost and all the staff The only down side was the telephone system you rang a number. and were connected to a office and put on a call back it took two days to ring me back I explained that I wished to contact Parkgate store eventually after four days I went back to the store in person

The worst company I have ever seen, I ordered 5 months ago and paid the full price and nothing has been sent to me. I call again and they don't know what stage my order is at. And that's besides the fact that I had to wait on the line for an hour for them to answer the phone.

The real standout feature of SCS is that their full range of fabrics is available for all of their sofas and chairs. (This may be recent since they were bought by an Italian company) At their competitors, each model of furniture has its own small set of fabrics.
SCS staff - Gary specifically in Sheffield - were very knowledgeable and helpful.
Delivery was sooner than expected and delivey staff Liam and Andrew were very capable and professional (and strong - it's hard work)

We were treated very well. We liked that there was no sales pressure. Our questions were answered and we were given all the information we requested. Holly was the name of the person who dealt with us very well. Thank you Holly.

After looking round other furniture companies we went to SCS Parkgate where we purchased our last suite and found the perfect one for us. Holly the shop assistant was very friendly and helpful, showing us all the ranges that we were looking for and the different material options. We were given a very good price for the New Italian Riolo 3 piece power recliner suit we chose along with sizes to check if it would fit into our lounge. After taking the measurements we returned and purchased the furniture and were given a good delivery date.

Pauline helped us with the purchase of our new sofa. (Rotherham store).She was extremely helpful and although not being in the role for too long, she would check with her manager if there was anything she wasn’t sure of. The IT system on the day was not particularly helpful.

Danny and Dave who delivered our sofas were great, friendly and courteous. Barry the manager and Lynn and I think Jessica was the other lady who dealt with us in store, were also fantastic, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you!
