Easy atmosphere no hard sell just knowledgeable advice

I have visted the store at diffrent locations and have always been greeted lovely.
We spoke with Pritta who was so helpful and friendly.
Pritta went above and beyond to help us choose our new sofa.

INTIMIDATING DELIVERY STAFF.
The staff at the store were great when I ordered in January, however I had my sofa delivered on 07/05 and the delivery drivers were intimidating, pushed for my to have it left in the box (the could see I was decorating in the room next door to my living room), I asked if they could take it out and set it up and they said I would only get to have the 30 days to check the sofa if it were left in the box, pushed for me to sign and left it in the middle of my living room. Living on my own as a female this was a terrible experience and didn't dare challenge them at the time. What was worse is I then had to get a handyman to help me the next day as I hadn't realised that I needed to put the feet on the sofa and this is impossible on a 4 seater on your own. I'm now also left with a giant box to get rid of. Tried to raise a complaint through the store and customer service the next day and was passed from pillar to post, and the distribution centre basically said "tough you must be happy because you've signed for it". Wrote a complaint 2 weeks ago as I had paid £200 for delivery and set up and the service provided clearly breached consumer rights. Still no response despite having called for an update since. Extremely poor that no accountability has been taken, and they clearly don't care when a customer hasn't been provided what they have paid for and was poorly treated by their staff too. Looking at other reviews, others have had issues with delivery too.

Our house is not suited to large suites so we tried to identify a supplier that had a varied size of suites available. We visited Poltron Sofa at Parkgate following a TV advert and an email from the company. We received an excellent service from the staff. They were extremely helpful in identifying the ideal suite for us. It seems excellent value and quality compared to others we had viewed. We are looking forward to receiving delivery in mid August . Kept informed of arrival time, three helpful lads put my new sofa where it needed to be, although no gliders where supplied on delivery day I was assured that someone will be out to fit them in due course 😊

We entered the Rotherham store with a bit of hesitation as we hate being quizzed and pestered, but to our delight pritta was on the door with a warm smile not too pushy and explained clearly all about the layout designs and sofa availability. The store is lovely and smells so clean not stuffy . We went back the following day to purchase our sofas as pritta was so helpful. We will definitely be recommending to family & friends

Helpfull staff,a pleasant shopping experience

Excellent service from the delivery guys,pleasant and friendly.
The only downside was the time it took to for my new Sofa to arrive from ordering to delivery,i found to be excessive.

The staff member who dealt with us was very helpful, aswell as left us alone to browse around. The only thing we didn't like was the pushing of the insurance, once a customer says no there not bothered it shouldn't be persuaded, the customer shouldn't feel pressured into it .

Pauline was so lovely, she was very attentive but not pushy which is always a plus for me as I don’t like feeling pressured when purchasing and she understood this. She talked us through the whole process and to be honest was one of the easiest purchases I have made. I look forward to receiving my new furniture
