Raileasy Arvostelua 

Unfortunately I was caught up in the recent train strikes and had booked tickets with Raileasy to travel to London with 2 friends on Monday 8th April .
My train was not actually cancelled but there was likely to be some disruption due to the existing overtime ban .

Due to my advancing years I could not risk travelling having experienced similar circumstances post pandemic ie overcrowding on the train , standing room only etc .
As the train was not actually cancelled , either on the outward or inward journey , I was not strictly eligible for a refund as I had bought Advanced tickets .

However , I emailed customer services on the evening of the 7th explaining my dilemma.
Pam ( from customer services ) replied that same evening ( at 9Pm ) and on 9th April i had a further email from Pam to say that she was authorising a refund and reducing the admin fee from £ 10 to £5 on her understanding of my situation.
This was despite the fact that the booked trains ran as per schedule on the day

Was unable to travel and got 70% of fares back. Happy with it as didnt expect anything at all. Communications was great, especially Pam from customer service, sorted within 2 working days, response was very quick and clear.
Happy with outcome, can safely book train tickets again.

My emailed tickets didn't arrive and because I had failed to write down the booking reference I wasn't able to get then resent. Pam understood the issue immediately, found the booking and processed the refund for me. Excellent customer service!

I writing this review because it is important to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by Train Split, Rail Easy.

I have relied on this company for ticket purchases for many years. Despite their claims of offering cheaper ticketing methods, my recent experiences have revealed a disturbing lack of accountability and responsibility.

It has come to my attention that while Train Split advertises seemingly cheaper ticketing options, the actual savings are often negligible. Moreover, when faced with adverse situations such as train delays, the company's response is far from satisfactory. In a recent incident where my train was significantly delayed, and I utilized Train Split's ticketing mechanism, I encountered nothing but evasion and avoidance when seeking a legitimate refund for my ticket.

To my dismay, instead of addressing my concerns and fulfilling their obligation to provide a refund, Train Split chose to distance themselves from any accountability. Not only did they refuse to acknowledge their responsibility, but they also went as far as to restrict my access to purchasing future tickets, despite my long-standing loyalty as a customer and the absence of any prior incidents.

This behavior is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable. As a consumer who has faithfully patronized Train Split for years, I expected better treatment and service. It is disheartening to see a company prioritize its own interests over the needs and rights of its customers.

I urge Train Split to reconsider its approach to customer service and accountability. Transparency, honesty, and integrity should be the cornerstones of any reputable business, and it is clear that Train Split has fallen short in these regards. I trust that appropriate measures will be taken to rectify this situation and restore faith in the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.

I have over the years had bad rail experiences but Raileasy have always made booking and refunds so easy. I have found them to be very fair and swift

I did have a bit a of a blip with Raileasy site (first time ever though, and I've been a customer of theirs for years!) while they were making improvements to their site, which meant that I had to book my tickets again with another provider, however I must say that once I'd contacted Railieasy's customer service, I heard back from them very, very quickly, the agents I dealt with were fabulous and my refund was processed right away.

Sometimes things go wrong, but great customer service really is what's important in the end, and I would like to commend Jonathan and Pam for being particularly wonderul.

The company must have a very clear notice during the purchase process that moving from a London station to another one is not covered in the cost of the ticket. This was not the case in my experience of using this company.

Cheapest direct tickets to London I could get. Unfortunately couldn’t book seats for return journey at the time. Contacted Pam at customer services and got all seats now booked fantastic service

I applied for a refund due to rail strike it was completed literally in 24 hours

Refunded tickets promptly after cancellation owing to storms

I was unable to book return trip for myself and wife to Oxford via National Rail website, so booked through Raileasy.
I was sent a total of 24 separate tickets for this return.
Each ticket had a different seat reservation mostly in different carriages and as the train was very full we had a musical chairs journey.
But using Raileasy did save me ----£0.16.
There is no way of knowing we would need this ridiculous number of tickets until we paid for them.

I made a mistake and booked the wrong day and she helped to get a refund to book the correct date.

I emailed this company Dec13 2023 and within a few hours Pam from customer service had emailed me with the information that I had requested.I was impressed with the speed and efficiency that this lady in customer services had given me,despite it being a very busy time for for travelling by rail.

Great booking service for train travel, keeping your tickets secure on your phone. Recent strikes meant we couldn't travel, refund issued quickly and efficiently by Pam in the Support Team.

When both legs of my journey were cancelled and I couldn't travel, I submitted a refund request, which was successfully handled on the same day. Thanks for this, I will be using the company for booking my future journeys!
