No question refund and good prices too
Booked tickets a day before but still scuppered by storm Bert. The refund process looks complex and didn't fit the circumstances - the train companies were saying 'do not travel'. Sent info and screenshots to raileasy - whole amount refunded without question within 3 days. Impressive !
Their split ticket engine also saves money. Plus - use the app and you get notified if your planned train is cancelled, as happened on the way back. So makes it all easy.

Sad to see old Raileasy go
Sad to see Raileasy go. The revamped website has reduced functionality and is no longer usable for many railcard holders. Raileasy was the site of choice for Young people; Military Veterans; Seniors and those with Disabilities - high levels of choice and flexibility were Raileasy's USP but now there's no reason to visit Raileasy over loads of other ticket sites. A shame. Nice people; awful website.

The Support staff are excellent
The Support staff are excellent. I had a lot of problems with booking on your site but eventually booked. I was then told Two Senior Rail Cards are not the same a two people travelling together. I also wanted flexible train times but your site kept on offering booked train only. Useless when flying into Gatwick when no one knows if the flight will be late or there will be baggage delays. Your Support staff were helpful. They credited my card and I booked with another company whose site was clearer and easy to follow.

We're sorry to hear about your experience with separate seats. Upon reviewing your enquiry, we understand that you booked two journeys (for passengers 1 & 2) for the same trip, but they were booked individually. Unfortunately, booking journeys separately can result in seat assignments not being together.
To ensure you travel together next time, simply search and book both passengers (1 & 2) under the same journey. This automatically assigns you seats together whenever possible. Don't worry, you'll still receive separate e-tickets for each passenger.
For even more control, you can also use our seat selector during booking (where available) to choose specific seats together. Remember, seat selection is only available at the time of booking.
We're delighted Tony was able to help by issuing two additional reservations at no extra cost. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this caused. Hopefully, this explanation clarifies the situation for you.

Very good customer service and support from Raileasy
I had made a multiple booking for the same trip because website declined my payment. Then it turned out there wasn't a problem with my card and all 4 payments were taken. Once I found out what had happened, I contacted Raileasy at the weekend. I am quite impressed with their prompt action to refund the unused 3 bookings. And I got a genuine apology for trouble I had with their booking pages.
