From the moment I wrote to pure electric I was dealing with someone called Lee and got first class treatment.

I purchased a air5 scooter via Curry’s which unfortunately after a couple of months developed a small fault. I contacted curry’s which didn’t really want to help and expected me to organise and contact pure direct to get the scooter fixed as they said they do not get involved and it’s down to me to organise! Once I contacted pure I was put In touch with a gentleman called Lee who has been absolutely fantastic and honestly couldn’t recommend enough! He has consistently kept in contact with me with any updates and after he arranged collection of the scooter within 48 hours he contacted me to state that the small fault the scooter had needed a part that they didn’t currently have in stock so he had organised a brand new scooter to be sent out. Lee and our have been fantastic and I just wish I had purchased the scooter direct through them in the first place instead of going to curry’s

Super fast delivery! My son was very happy with the scooter. Needed some replacement reflectors for it. They were very quick to respond and Lisa was extremely helpful and dispatched some straight away for me. Would definitely recommend.

The customer service people who helped me, Lisa and Lee were very helpful and polite because I accidentally ordered the wrong e-scooter. All resolved and refunded.
The only thing that I’m a bit concerned about, now I think about it (I’m a bit slow in thinking) is that my first Pure scooter lasted just over a year before the electrics failed. I was thinking a lack of suspension might be the culprit, but Pure informed me that was unlikely, so I’m not sure whether to order one of the models that have suspension or not now.
I would, however, recommend the company and I really enjoyed the rides I had during that year. I need to think on it more before I decide what scooter is best for me.

I failed to get a human being on the website but I went to my local bike shop who found Samantha for me. She emailed me directly, took my details, found the product I needed directly and sent me a link. Pure electric where very prompted with collection and delivery of which I was extremely happy with i had a guy called LEE who was dealing with me of which was very helpful and kept me updated all the way threw my experience he couldn't do enough to make sure the process went through smoothly and successfully.

Maya was very helpful during the process of having the scooter fixed, she provided me withe quick replies and kept in contact thought the process. I'm also grateful for the technician who repaired the scooter Kaung San Hein as I have been assured the scooter is now fully working and has been rigourously tested with a brand new motor being fitted.

I recently had to have some repairs done to my air 5 pro scooter and a new tyre fitted the guy lee dealt with me from the start and was very helpful and I had the repairs done for free as was still under warranty the turnaround time the scooter was picked up and returned was very quick within 4 days so was very pleased.

They sound more reliable than any I know and are quick with repairs, I highly recommend them.

Samuel was incredibly helpful in handling my issue with the scooter. He was professional, patient, and kept me updated throughout the process. I have sent an e scooter back to pure electric as the brakes had failed/faulty.

It has been a month since I have returned it back to pure with ZERO Correspondance! This company takes your money , and when there is an issue , they simply blank you. If I do not receive any reply , I will have no choice but to take legal action ! This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional!

Pure Electric struggles to accept negative feedback and claims that it is “clearly stated on our website that e-scooters cannot be used legally on UK roads.”

In reality, that disclaimer sits beneath marketing that strongly suggests a normal, usable product. It feels like classic corporate legal framing:
technically disclosed, but practically easy to miss.

They also say “our team is here to help” — but in practice, that “help” often amounts to directing customers back to the small print after purchase, once they are already exposed to potential fines, confiscation, and the legal consequences of unlawful road use.

This is NOT real transparency; it is carefully structured marketing around a product operating in a legal grey area. The customers, ultimately, bear the risk when enforcement happens !

Bottom line: buyer beware.
Until the legal situation changes, this is a high-risk purchase wrapped in polished sales language.

Police confiscate these scooters and issue fines and penalty points on driving licences regularly.

For most people, the safest option is simple: avoid purchasing e-scooters for public road use in the UK.

Very very good, a man named Lee helped me a lot when I was locked out my scooter via the app, but Lee managed to get the pin working for me again so again Thanks Lee lol
