Always courteous and helpful

Got a damaged product delivered, made contact with customer services on March 13th. It's now the 24th, and since then I've had
* A recommendation on how to 'fix' the product that seemed to damage it further.
* An arrangement to pick it up by courier that has already been cancelled, which resulted in me pointlessly arranging to stay home in the working week.

I think part of the problem is that all of the queries have to be sent to a different department - they made reference to having to forward my queries on. This, rather than your customer service people being empowered to help and make decisions. I strongly suspect there are also varied time zones involved which make the delay and confusion much much worse.

I don't really trust that anything other than a refund will resolve this speedily, which I've asked for.

Decathlon is great for the sporty person. Lots of kit and clothing for a plethora of sports, but also the space upstairs is great for actually doing sports and also Bellucci cafe is awesome, great coffee and vibes

- My items were delivered to the wrong store
- I was not told this would happen or that it did happen - I had to travel to a store (quite far away) to find this out
- Nobody in store could help with a solution
- Nobody in Customer Care could hep either - they just told me to sit tight and wait for response
- I had to keep chasing
- After days of nothing, they agreed to post the items to my home
- The running tops (for a charity race with friends) arrived too late for printing so I now need to return them
- I went to the website to return the items but the refund amount is showing as £80, not the £133 I paid.
- Customer Care (Whatsapp) is not ignoring me.
- Decathlon give you the distinct feeling that they just don't care and I will gladly spend more elsewhere next time.

You do stock good products, but they do go very quickly.

All easy and straightforward no faffing or flappy staff.
The products however seem to be less and less. Like squash equipment is now no longer in store. Most disappointed

Iv bought lots of their hiking and trekking gear mainly the Simond brand and it’s amazing quality for the price. Customer service is amazing any issues sorted, Only fault is the Belfast store doesn’t seem to ever answer the phone.

I have enjoyed shopping in Decathlon but my ongoing experience with buying online is truly shocking. Like dealing with a dodgy Ecommerce site from the 90's.
Purchased a Motorbike cover from Decathlon website. It's self assembly but two of the parts have predrilled holes in the wrong place. I contacted the manufacturer, as per manual- who said it has to be dealt with through Decathlons WhatsApp. Initial response asked me for lots of details and video proof which I provided. Every response since then has been very slow (days in between) ending with a promise of pick up and redelivery and that details would be forthcoming. Despite 3 or 4 reminders each day I have heard nothing with my reminders being ignored. Clearly this single method that Decathlon uses for dealing with customer issues is not fit for purpose and results in an inevitable charge back and requires contact to Trading Standards. What a waste of everyone's time and results in a huge change in my perception of Decathlon and their view of how important their customers are to them. Will think twice before buying anything again from Decathlon online. Plainly Amazon and their return system is infinitely superior.
I have since asked for a refund instead of replacement as the item is faulty and within 14/30day return period.

Got what we needed, but more information about the product and clearer price labelling would have been better for the boxing gloves. But price was great for the quality.

Good value. Perfect for dipping a toe in the water.

Love Decathlon, especially Southampton store.
Gear is always well designed, well made and brilliant value for money..

Brought in a bike for repairs. While I am not at all happy with the choices made by the mechanic (new expensive part while alternatives were available if properly communicated), this is not what the review is about. They let me out of the shop with the back wheel not properly attached - after less than a km, the wheel was completely falling out when the bike is lifted. That is a serious safety concern for somebody driving on roads among vehicles. Despite raising this to customer service and alleged escalation to the local team and manager, this is apparently of no concern for them to contact me again.
