Park With Ease  Arvostelua 

Parked in Beteshanger Car Par nr Deal, Kent, on 25/1/21. Poor signage and poor siting of parking meters plus generally decrepit state of site led me to believe there was no charges payable at that time. A further visit on foot some three weeks later, after I had received a parking charge of £30, revealed all new signage and the discovery of the only two pay meters hidden away in an enclave way off the main massive car parking area. My appea,l mainly based on poor signage and non visible parking meters, was turned down.
After I Pointed out that all the signage had been changed after my first visit they denied ever changing signs. They were not even aware that the parking charges had been changed in 2018 to £3.50. So any appeal is simply arbitrarily turned down.
It would seem that from all the similar complaints on their own site and on other sites re Betteshanger that there is reason to believe that Parkwithease put up poor signage which leads car owners to believe that no parking charge is payable or put other barriers in the way of customers to stop them paying i.e non functioning meters so that they can then be issued with a hefty fine. They turned down my appeal despite being totally unaware of the parking charges and signage relating to parking on a site they are supposed to be managing.

I visited the Lake district for a long weekend and parked at White Moss, Rydal for a walk. This is clearly privately owned land with Park with Ease as the parking provider. The charge is £3 for up to 2 hours and when we returned I tried on 3 occasions to pay with a debit card and 1 with a credit card. On all occasions the cards were declined. Other people were experiencing similar difficulties. I tried then a few times with another debit card. I then downloaded the app and input my card reg but it didn't pick it up and said no charge applied to I thought maybe one of the attempted payments had actually gone through. I sent the email links to my email address assuming this would show evidence of my efforts if needed. I then received a demand for £35 now within 14 days or £60. I wrote to them and explained the situation and my appeal to them was rejected out of hand, so I was a liar as far as they were concerned. I did offer to pay the £3 on 2 occasions during the communications but this was ignored. The links were dismissed as they don't actually show the message - I should have screen shot it but I'm not so good with these things. Anyway I replied again and said they were suggesting I was lying but sent a photo of my computer screen which proved the time and date of the emails I sent to myself on the 2 occasions and I said why would I do this other than to demonstrate I had tried genuinely to pay and why should I be penalised for their software problems. This was ignored. Makes me think that the landowners may also get a cut of these unreasonable charges and in doing so give tacit approval to their bullying.

Pity you cannot do no stars, got fined £50 for a 10 minute overstay, sent a cheque which has not been cashed but now getting threatening legal letters due to non payment, if they accept cheque payments they need to be able to process them

Went to pay, entered my car registration number and received a message saying that there was no fee to pay so I left. A week later I received a parking ticket saying I needed to pay a £30 fee. Unable to speak to the company over the phone (recorded message saying I would need to write to them). Contacted the local council who informed me that they receive many complaints about this company. Be very careful if using this car park!

I used their machine at Shoalstone pool car park today. Even though my car was not picked up by the camera I was easily able to pay for the time I had been there. Signage all very clear.

Avoid Silverthwaite car park at all cost at Skelwith Bridge, managed by Parkwithease

The machine is faulty . We tried to pay with no success -it kept freezing. We have just received a massive fine for non payment. Avoid at all costs.

Machines are faulty in the rain. In appropriate signage. Aggressive chasing tactics and unreasonable fines. Avoid this company at all costs.

managed to get two tickets i parked on a locked down yha car park which was boarded up and empty due to covid area completely empty and not in use to take a disabled person to the cemetery next door who's car park was locked too she is inconsolable at having to pay 60 out off her 128 weekly pension just to put flowers on her husband's grave they should. be completely ashamed
