why on earth are these so called people (park with ease) allowed to carry on conning people when they legally park there car in there tin pot rented spaces. i paid my money at that time at attengborough nature reserve and for a space for disabled people with my batch, paid £3.50 for the privilege of walking round a lovely reserve. i always did when i get there.
i have been stung before with smart parking another criminal so called car parking enterprise, that was at Ingelmels lincs. i don't park there anymore and i won't park at Attenborough nature reserve, these people have spoiled it for me, Shame on them (as if they're bothered) crims.....

Park with Ease is the most inappropriate name for this company. Just parked up near Brixham and tried to insert a credit card which would not even go into the slot, so tried to pay contactless which also did not work with 3 different credit cards. Finally had to use their own web site with pay pal which was equally difficult because of limited signal.

I have never had a parking fine in my life, and I am now a pensioner, so that's a long time. Signs at Whinlatter Pass were small, not evident at the car park entrance, and there was no obvious machine to pay. I got a parking fine, as did all my friends on the same driving holiday. We had just stopped for a comfort break, and got caught out by a rain shower meaning we all needed to put our car hoods on. OK, it was a "fair cop", we thought we were under the 20 mins, but missed it by a few due to the rain. However, signage should be clearer, and obvious BEFORE you enter the car park. I have never heard of Park with Ease before, but I have now checked their website and the locations they operate at, and will never stop at one of their sites again. Who knew a car park for essentially a coffee/loo stop would be chargeable! Tourist board for the area take note, you will lose out by contracting these people.

Terrible, emailed and called had no reply. Was not able to pay by card I had no cash, tried to pay online but not able to pay correct amount. Non existent customer service, my sister in law had a £30 fine on her account (no actual contact) fluke she saw it, but she had paid that day (more than needed) and she is still being fined. Disgraceful company.

I paid £40 for a yearly parking pass at Attenborough Nature Reserve in march and I must have been 20 times since. Imagine my amazement when I received a parking charge when I parked in may, do these people not check their records before issuing a letter or is it all about trying to cheat people out of money, sent an email informing them they have made a mistake but not received a reply yet

Broke down at Attenborough Nature Reserve and couldn’t start the car, ended up leaving after about 50 minutes there. Got a letter in the post ONE MONTH later telling me I had to pay a £60 fine and that it was my second warning - NEVER RECEIVED A FIRST LETTER so didn’t get to pay the reduced fee. Explained to a woman on email, who was rude and blamed the postal company and refused to allow me to pay the reduced £30 fee despite it not being my fault. Disgusting company, disgusting staff and of course no phone number as they don’t give a stuff about anybody!!! NEVER trust this vile company, all they want to do is rob honest working people blind!

couldn't pay for a ticket at Whinlatter due to the machine not working. A notice on the machine directed people to use the website within 48 hours. I made a note but totally forgot. two weeks later I received the dreaded letter, £50 fine but reduced to £30 if paid within two weeks. I went on to their website and payed it with ease, really simple, why didn't I do it at the time :-/

It really does surprise me how many excuses people have for not getting a ticket, then moan about it when they are caught out, then give the company a 1star review - take responsibility for your actions, and don't blame the company.

Park with ease are run by crooks and scammers and should be stopped....

A part of the cowboy parking scheme, machines are duff so you can't pay for parking so they fine you instead rather than accepting the appeal and allowing you to transfer the funds to them. Disgusting service, will never use again

Avoid Silverthwaite car park in the Lake District. I left the machine with what I thought was a valid ticket - it cost £8+. Weeks later I was asked to pay a fine for non-payment. I had thrown my ticket away by this time. I refused, the so-called independent arbitrator ruled for park with ease and the fine increased. Trying to prove my innocence has proved very difficult and stressful, whuch is what these companies rely upon. Don't park at Silverthwaite.

I used the car park as you would, parked my car up.
I go to pay and the machine wouldn’t take my card so I went and paid the £1.50 in cash and a timer came up on the screen to leave the site.
All sorted I thought.

2 weeks later I received a letter that I had not paid at the site, I pay the £30 and try to appeal the letter to get told it had been paid and there isn’t anything to appeal.

Complete scam of a place, 0 points to the company who obviously couldn’t care if there machines are faulty as long as they are getting paid.

I pulled into sholestone to kill time waiting for a meeting , didnt leave my car but fair enough didnt pay a ticket as didnt realise i could only wait 10mins. Didnt think about it untill a payment reminder fell on my mat for £50 . This was the first i had had and when questioned why i hadnt had a pcn but got the reminder fine i was told parkwithease wasnt responsable for the postal service and i had to pay the full amount. Total scam in my opinion and only my word against theirs that the pcn was sent out in the first place.Shame but will never park at sholestone again for anything.

A very very uncaring company whose role is solely to exploit and steal money from whoever they can. Went to take someone to disabled toilet at Carmel Priory racecourse and was issued with £60 fine for this. Cartmel Town Council should be proactive as this is the only public toilet in the village which is situated in a private car park

They are a rude and horridly ran company who sent a parking notice to an address i no longer lived at under a wrong last name WITH NO DATE ON so god knows how long it had been at my previous address! Then demanded i pay the full amount... I went through IAS who rejected the fact this happened and i was forced to pay the full fine!!
Emails between me and the company proved them to be nothing but rude and dismissive... Disgusting.

Like thieves, a disposable company! I piped into a car park in Torquay to pick up my daughter and waited 10 minutes. All other car parks in the area work on people coming to see if you have a ticket. As I didn't get out of the car I drove off having no idea how they operate. £50 later, didn’t care that I was 10 minutes and didn’t see signs, nothing more than a legal scam for me...😡

Silverthwaite parking in the Lake District run by initial parking. Do not park here got a £60 as the ticket machine was faulty, completed transaction with credit card reader and had confirmation message however no printed receipt. No Internet or phone reception to download the app which was the other option to pay. And once had phone reception the helpline was a recorded message with instructions how to pay your penalty charge notice. Daylight robbery. Surprise surprise no acknowledgment that the machine was faulty appeal just said I should've paid via the app. How do you do that without Internet. Ruined holiday.

Higher Lodge, Cockington. Machine not working on exit (screen not working properly and receipt printer not printing anything). Had just moved house so the parking charge was issued to the wrong address, due to the redirection service not working properly. We only received the final notice 2 months afterwards. An hour stay has resulted in a £110 fine. Absolutely ridiculous. Have stayed here before and when the machine was working, there wasn't an issue. There was no issue with the ANPR so they went ahead and issued their fine. Companies should not be allowed to issue these charges when their own equipment does not work. They should also not be allowed to sell tiny charges of single pounds to third parties who escalate it to over £100. After emailing customer service they agreed to reduce the fine to £50. Still an absolute disgrace but gets rid of the stress of debt collector letters.

BUT - Machine not functioning on exit (screen broken) Aware of many bad reviews for Parkwithease parking company, so left feeling uneasy that we would be fined and hounded based on CCTV footage. We went straight home and paid online, fearful of threats to chase.
Be interesting to see how many £50 fines are issued while the machine is broken.
I suspect the ombudsman rarely, if ever finds in favour of complainant. Parking company and ombudsman should issue the stats to convince me otherwise.

Sad end to a lovely evening. Suggest you get the machine fixed ASAP or provide free parking while that happens.

Shoalstone Pool owners - There must be better less intimidating ways to raise money for this lovely location. I noticed the car park, barley had any cars - I guess many others are aware of this parking companies bad reviews and are staying away.

Displayed blue badge and signage indicate parking is free for blue badge holders.
One week later penalty notice of £25 for not buying a parking ticket.
Whilst appeal is an option as the outrageous charge increase to £50 after 14 days ... We can all see where this ends up.!
Not impressed with Fowlmead for putting local at risk of this scam!

Complete scam and liars.
Received a fine for not paying for parking. I appealed it as believed I had paid. To which they strongly said all their records say I didn’t and I owe the money or court action will be taken. After various back and forth in which they came up with several more blatant lies I produced my bank statement proving a card payment had been made for the parking.
To which they then finally agreed to back down.
If I’d paid by cash I’d have had no way to prove this and they’d have been able to falsely charge me. Glad I’d paid by card. But what complete crooks.
