If I could rate it no stars I would. Absolute joke

Parcel Hero seemed to be the only parcel company I could find to return a heavy and large stone shower tray to bathroom mountain in stoke-on-Trent 45kg and 140x90 cm.

Delivery was arranged with UPS courier serviced. I observed the Items carefully collected and loaded into the van and laid down. Then when I checked the tracking update the next day it stated my item had been discarded due to damage (no actual proof of the damage or how this has occurred). The item didnt even get delivered to Bathroom Mountain.

This was a heavy item that could not be easily damaged and yet they say it’s now been discarded before it even reached the return address. And this was me checking the parcel status not Parcel Hero or UPS emailing me to tell me it was damaged or discarded

No reason given how it was damaged, no photos to prove damage and why has it not been delivered so bathroom mountain can contact me about the damage.

I’m now hundreds of pounds out of pocket with no proof of what Parcel Hero or UPS claim has occurred.

You can’t call and talk to a customer service representative. Can only raise an issue using an online chat portal who say you can claim via claims process.

I believe Parcel Hero and UPS are just taking peoples money and stealing property then providing false tracking information with little or no come back for the customer.

PLEASE PLEASE !!!!! do not use them. Cannot be trusted.

Update 25/09/26

My item was eventually delivered 5 days later than agreed and I have received a refund but Parcel Hero have now charged my credit card for additional handling by UPS with no explanation as to why this additional handling has occurred. When I booked the service I used the correct measurements including it’s heavy weight but yet they still charge me extra.

So in short, paid a price for a service, 1 day later I myself find out the item supposedly damaged and discarded, I raise a dispute with Parcel Hero who cannot show proof or tell me how this damaged has happened. Days later I’m told the item is still being delivered, item delivered later than agreed and I’m charged more for handling that can’t be explained.

No trust in this company and would never use them or recommend them.

2 weeks after receiving my caravan awning from England up to Scotland paid £90... I was horrified to discover a further £27.23 had been taken from my original payment method !so be wary folks .
No joy in contacting them it was legit in their minds !I'd disagree and say it was fraud !!!!

I would not use ParcelHero again after my experience with an international shipment from the UK to the USA.

I paid approximately £250 to send my daughter’s personal belongings to Miami, completing the customs information requested. The shipment then resulted in UPS import charges of $620.80, including $545.80 in duty, which I am now having to formally dispute.

On top of that, I subsequently received a further ParcelHero invoice for £17.91 for a fuel surcharge/weight adjustment, and I have now received another charge of approximately £17.30.

What has frustrated me most is the lack of clarity about the potential additional costs. What started as a straightforward shipment of my daughter’s used personal belongings has resulted in repeated unexpected charges and a considerable amount of time spent dealing with customs paperwork, UPS and disputes.

I appreciate that customs charges are not necessarily controlled by ParcelHero, but when using a shipping broker I expected much clearer guidance about the process, potential charges and what documentation was required to avoid problems.

Based on my experience, I would not use ParcelHero for an international shipment again.

Paid for a box to be picked up in Spain and transported to the UK. They picked up the box and no information after that... No updated information with the traking number and no one to talk to as they have no way to contact customer service. They did take the money the moment I ordered the service, but where is my package? Why dont you have people to talk to your customers when things go wrong? Absolutely a waste of time, money and sanity!

Absolutely stay away! They may seem legitimate but their customer service is appalling and money grabbing! My package gone missing and they will not take accountability but got the cheek to automatically charge my card for more money for them to look for my parcel!

I shipped an international package. It generated a UPS label and said it would be delivered that week. I then got alerted by UPS that none of the customs documents had been completed (was never prompted to do this by ParcelHero). It arrived 10 days later than expected. After the fact, my card was charged again, claiming that I needed to pay more for the weight. They told me that UPS had measured my package at 10kg, even though it was 2kg when I sent it. Mysteriously, they weren't able to offer me any actual evidence from UPS that this had occurred. Such a scam.
