Very disappointing experience.

We used this company twice to send wooden tables to Germany, and both times the tables arrived badly damaged. So far, that is 2 damaged deliveries out of 2.

Because of the damage, both of our clients asked for refunds, leaving us to cover the losses ourselves. We also paid extra for insurance coverage when booking the deliveries through their website, but despite making claims for the damaged goods, we have not received a penny in compensation.

I used ParcelHero to send bathroom items worth £800, only for them to arrive damaged. When I submitted a claim, they rejected it, saying the packaging was “insufficient,” even though the items were sent back in the exact same packaging they originally arrived in. I appealed and provided all the information they asked for, but they still refused the claim.

At no point during booking was I told that bathroom items were excluded or not covered. I’m now completely out of pocket, and ParcelHero has taken no responsibility for the damage that happened in their care.

This experience has left me out of pocket and extremely disappointed. The lack of transparency around exclusions and the refusal to reconsider the claim makes the service feel unreliable.

Excellent service. The only issue I have is trying to get invoices for my consignments.

Terrible service, I’d tried to book Evri and when told I needed a printer I tried to cancel as advised. Impossible to cancel .

After further communication with the company my charge has been refunded.

I got a quote from another online broker to send a 32kg parcel via UPS for £42. When I tried to book it, the price jumped up to £139.
Fortunately, ParcelHero came to the rescue, quoting £29 again with UPS. I booked it and the driver arrived next day and took the item without a quibble.
I won't be using the other company again.

Good price easy to use website and package arrived on time

Paid a lot of money but they never collected the parcel. It was within the volumentric limit.

First time using them. Due to the size of the parcel I couldn’t get a price directly from the shippers but ParcelHero quoted with UPS, it was collected the next day and arrived in the USA the following day.

Easy, efficient and great price

I booked a parcel collection through ParcelHero/DPD expecting a straightforward service. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely stressful and disappointing.
The courier driver attended the correct address as confirmed by the tracking information but did not ring the doorbell or attempt to contact me by telephone, despite a mobile number being provided with the booking. The parcel was ready and available for collection but the collection was not completed.
I then contacted customer service because I expected ParcelHero to help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my side of the story was properly heard or that my concerns were taken seriously. I was left feeling that I would potentially have to pay another charge for a collection that had not been properly attempted.
I also repeatedly asked whether I could simply drop the parcels off myself. This option was not offered or properly explored during my conversations with customer service. Instead, the focus seemed to be on the total weight of the shipment without properly checking that I had two separate parcels.
What was particularly frustrating was that I eventually had to find and read the relevant terms and conditions myself to discover that I could drop the parcels off. In other words, I contacted customer service for help but ultimately had to investigate the available options and find my own solution which took me hours of my own time.
For me, this raises a serious concern about the level of support provided when something goes wrong. I would expect a company arranging a courier service to listen to the customer, investigate what happened, explain the available options and help find a practical solution.
Overall, this was a very stressful experience and not one I would want to repeat. Based on this experience I would be reluctant to use ParcelHero again and would consider booking directly with another courier or using Royal Mail where possible.
I hope ParcelHero takes this feedback seriously and reviews how missed collections and customer complaints are handled.

very easy, only complain parcel too 10 days to be delivered in NETHERLANDS. Tracking was very good, will use them again.

my goods and packaging were badly damaged, they looked into my case asking for photos, invoices, all sorts of details that I provided, and concluded I am entitled to zero (0) compensation. UPS was the carrier.
