Warning - read the small print very carefully as it gives them permission to debit money from your card post-sale without having to gain permission.
I recently sent a parcel through them from Portugal to the UK.
Firstly the parcel was delayed by a week as Parcelhero hadn’t collected the right information for exporting.
Then when the parcel was delivered I had a follow up telling me they were taking an additional payment from my account as the dimensions I’d booked were less than the courier said they were.
I’d actually over estimated the size of my parcel to avoid this very scenario! For example my item was a print at 45cmx45cmx2cm but the courier claimed the package was 65cmx58cmx18cm wide! Quite frankly I’m baffled. Further the courier offered no evidence to back up their claim and just helped themselves to the extra cash.
Parcelhero actually turned out to be Parcelzero!

collected midday in Cornwall and delivered midday next day in Sussex, no fuss at all - and almost half the price of Shipley's quote! I was very happy with the service. Please note; they don't give a collection window at all, just the day. This was ok with me, but might not be with everyone. Also their chatbot was almost useless and couldn't put me in touch with a human when it got stuck.

Constantly spam calls my business with a recorded message. Go away!!!

I shipped an e-bike and was quoted £48.20. I got confirmation that it was delivered the next day accepted by Jeff. However, the bike wasn't delivered and no one called Jeff works at the apartments where it was supposedly delivered. Then I was told no it wasn't actually delivered, they needed the contact details of the person being shipped to. I provided these at the time of booking.

Then, my card was charged with another £164.86 because I hadn't provided the correct measurements, but I know I had. I'm still waiting on a refund. And, before I get a reply to this review saying I can contact Parcelhero support team or I have an open ticket I know that and I'm still waiting a reply a week later.

Then the bike was delivered but it had been taken out of the bike box, it was required to be sent in and just wrapped in plastic, which according to Parcelhero isn't a safe way to send a bike as it could be damaged. Apparently, the original bike box got damaged so the bike had to repacked. I suspect what really happened was the bike box required two people to move it, so the bike got taken out of it. Luckily, the bike wasn't damaged and no parts went missing. I just wasted £25 on a box, no refund was offered.

Avoid, avoid, avoid

Paid a premium price for next day. Delivered 24 hours late.Caught them out with a blatent lie re the reason (I checked!) They refused a partial refund. Paid extra to get a signature. They didn't get one. No refund of that charge either

Easy to arrange, no issues with pickup from Paris or delivery to UK and very cost effective.

However, it would be nice to have an ETA for collection. Not every collection will be from a location that always has someone there...😉

The speed and precision way the parcel was delivered

The worst experience so far of sending goods - had to return a big item back to seller, so they provided me with a quote for UPS delivery - the goods in (original) package were delivered with completely broken package, and on top of that they charged me for oversize after I submitted claim for damaged package, 3times the original payment. AVOID!

Parcel arrived ahead of time. Everyything in order. Happy

They are a terrible company to deal with. I arranged a collection through them for FedEx (who are also terrible) on a specific date, but nobody arrived to collect the item. When I contacted them, I couldn't speak to a real person and was only directed to AI customer support with what appeared to be pre-programmed responses. They were unable to provide any information on when the collection would actually take place.

It has now been three days with no resolution. As a result, I had to cancel the collection, and despite the service not being provided, they have refused to issue a refund. Very frustrating experience overall.

I have 2 ongoing claims for damage and poor customer experience ongoing, with little to no interaction with anybody from a managerial support function despite insult complaint(s) are escalated.

Would give this zero stars if I could. First time I used them my parcel went missing. I was given more than a dozen conflicting messages via Evri of what had happened to my parcel. I continually emailed Parcelhero to ask how I could make a claim and was constantly ignored. Almost two months have passed and I am still being told I need to fill in a claim form despite me having sent one to them - clearly they are continually trying to stall in the hope I will give up. I will not and am determined to pursue this. Do not touch this company with a bargepole.

Using Parcel Hero was a great experience. Easy to book online, the driver turned up when expected and I was able to track my parcel all the while - and was notified on delivery. Excellent service.

Horrendous resolution centre:

I booked a collection for two parcels, where the courier/driver was to bring the labels with them. Day one: courier came without labels. I rebooked the collection for the next day and notified Parcelhero (PH) of the issue. PH then rebooked the collection for the day after, and emailed praising themselves for doing so...
Day three: courier comes, again without labels - refuses to collect the boxes, and departs. PH are contacted.
Day three: I email PH to request they rebook it under any collection condition - and send me a label to print off so the parcels can be collected..
Day four: PH email a *holding email* and do not rebook collection
Day five: PH do not rebook collection, but say they are investigating
Day six: PH again send holding notice
repeat
Day nine: I email PH asking for the contact details of their complaints department
Day 9-14: PH refuse to provide postal address for complaints department, provide credit for inconvenience, or admit responsibility for any of this.

Guidance: go direct to a recognised courier, don't use PH.

Parcel arrived undamaged within 24 hours.

Worst , Parcel hero has lost my bag and when we asked claim they said each item sent in bag should I have original payment bill. Completely fraud accompany in UK. Strongly suggest not to send bag with this organisation

I sent an item using the Parcelhero system that referred me on to a UPS service.
I was careful to measure the Parcel and weigh it to ensure that I was not taking chances with a guess. I added 1cm to each side and also an extra 1kg to the weight.
A few days after the Parcel was delivered I had an email from UPS to tell me that extra charges were applied due to me not paying enough for the size and weight.
I emailed Parcelhero and Lewis took up the mantle.
He contacted UPS and advocated on my behalf, the conclusion of which, was that there was nothing further for me to pay.

Based upon this interaction I am happy to recommend Parcelhero.
